Special Counsel Mueller did not hand them what they expected, so they will now break any law necessary during the election of 2020 to remove Trump from office. Prosecutors interviewed fired FBI director James Comey and are considering whether his deputy Andrew McCabe should be charged for lying to federal agents, a report suggests.
Investigators from the D.C. U.S. Attorney's Office recently spoke to Comey as part of their probe into whether McCabe broke the law, The Washington Post reported.
Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz has accused McCabe of misleading investigators.
He has also accused Comey of lying four times — three of them under oath.
Lying to investigators carries a five-year prison sentence, but McCabe has denied any wrongdoing.

Former FBI Director James Comey took his book promotion tour to Toronto Thursday and told the crowd that Robert Mueller isn’t leaking any information so Comey can’t assess the special counsel’s investigation.
“I can’t rely on anything I see in the media because there are no leaks coming out of Robert Mueller’s operation, so I don’t know what he knows,” Comey said.
But as the Canadian Press reports, Comey thinks highly of Mueller's group of lawyers. “I really don’t know what he has. What I do know is that he and his team are an all-star team of pros.”
Comey trotted out his frequently-used description of President Donald Trump being similar to a Mafia don.
“Ethical leadership is about having external reference points. Near as I can tell, this president only has one reference point and it is internal,” Comey told host Heather Reisman. “That’s very similar to a Cosa Nostra boss.”
Comey, who is no stranger to leaking information to the media, lamented what he described as declining ethical standards in U.S. politics.
The former FBI boss also brought up his decision to re-examine the Hillary Clinton email scandal less than two weeks before the 2016 presidential election, saying anything less could have been “devastating” on many levels.
“The act of concealment would be devastating to the institutions of justice for a generation,” Comey said. “And, if she’s elected, devastating to her presidency.”
Comey told the audience that in the course of the Clinton email scandal, his assessment of her activity went from “extremely careless” to “really sloppy.”
Comey expressed surprise that Trump would demand loyalty from him in a private meeting.
“He knew what he was doing,” Comey said. “The first explicit request for loyalty surprised me. By the time he came back and asked for my loyalty again, there’s no doubt he knew it was a violation of norms.”

Leaker James Comey got triggered at a town hall after Anderson Cooper called him out for leaking memos to the media.
“You did leak memos. I mean is it okay for somebody at the FBI to leak something, an internal document? Even if it’s not classified? Isn’t that leaking?” Anderson Cooper asked Comey.
Comey wasn’t happy with Anderson Cooper.
“Well there’s a whole lot wrong with your question, Anderson,” Comey replied. “First, I didn’t leak memos. I asked a friend to communicate the substance of one unclassified memo…”
“One unclassified memo to the media and it’s really important, I was a private citizen,” Comey shot back.
Anderson Cooper wouldn’t let up and insisted the memo was an internal document he had written while he was FBI Director and therefore it is a leak.
At this point Comey tried to split hairs about what a leak technically is or is not, claiming a document has to be classified in order to be considered a leak.
Anderson Cooper read a part of Comey’s memo about nailing leakers to the door and asked, “shouldn’t you be nailed to the door then?”
“Plenty of people leak non classified information”, Anderson Cooper said insisting Comey is indeed a leaker.

All leaks had to go through him before they were allowed, without repercussions. Comey can play semantics all day but this man is dishonorable at best. If Cooper did not have to follow his usual leftist marching orders 95% of the time, he could be a decent reporter. Comey's credibility is now in the toilet with the thinking people. This came after former Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation was fired on Friday night. This likely prevented McCabe from receiving his full retirement at age 50.

Earlier Saturday morning, President Trump’s lawyer John Dowd told the Daily Beast it’s time for Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to shut down the Mueller witch hunt.

GP -- Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) grilled Attorney General Jeff Sessions today on the many apparent crimes connecting the Clinton Campaign, the Democrat Party, the FBI, James Comey and the Russian Dossier.
Jordan grilled the Attorney General who was noticeably uncomfortable and irritated with the questioning.
Rep. Jordan laid out the specific crimes of collusion committed by FBI and DNC operatives in 2016. Jordan pointed out the fake dossier and asked AG Sessions if this was the impetus to spy on the Trump campaign? Sessions would not answer.
At the end of the questioning Rep. Jordan asked Sessions if he would appoint a special counsel to investigate this deviant activity by the FBI and DNC.
Sessions told him he would not appoint a special counsel.
Rep. Jim Jordan: "Doesn’t that warrant in addition to all the things we know about James Comey in 2016, doesn’t that warrant naming a second special counsel?"
AG Jeff Sessions: "I would say what it looks like is not enough basis to appoint a special counsel."
Blog Author's Comments: It seemed to me today that AG Sessions did not take this hearing with the seriousness it deserved, he does not strike me as a professional person who is worthy of his current position. I realize there were some questions which he would not be able to answer in an open hearing. I have been against the hiring of Sessions as Attorney General from the time he was appointed by Trump. I also think he should be relieved of his office as soon as the President could find a replacement. But, as I mentioned yesterday, if President Trump fires Mueller and Sessions, Senator Grassley has said he will not confirm a new Attorney General. Senator Grassley is now the current chairman of the Judiciary Committee of the 115th congress.
I would assume knowing what I know of the President, he wants to keep things moving and see some action from his cabinet. He should have a meeting with both AG Sessions and Senator Grassley. If he is not pleased with Session's performance which some lawmakers in his party are not. Congress needs to produce a vote of no confidence to the AG and ask him to remove himself from office. It is not good that Sessions continues to let Trump, many members of his party and the country down by remaining impotent in the pressing issues facing him. What does not help is that there are so many Congressional leaders who are anti-Trump. For reasons I will not waste my time now by delving into, many members of his own party want to see him fail, while the entire Republican Party fails. What so many do not seem to understand is that Trump is not going to be seen as a failure by the voters that put him in office.
The huge mistake Sessions made was to recuse himself from anything involving the Russia probe because of the Democrat Party and leftist media attack dogs. After Trump fired Comey, who did not deserve to be the Director of the FBI, he was another dirty cop. Sessions deputy AG Rosenstein appointed Robert Mueller, a very good friend and former co-worker of Comey. I do not want Jeff Sessions as the Attorney General; he cannot handle the duties of the position. Now is the time for President Trump to make some serious decisions, to clear all of this up because it has already gotten way out of hand.
GP -- A couple of weeks ago a report came out from the Hill that the FBI was investigating Russian activities in the US when Robert Mueller (as Head of the FBI), Hillary and the Obama Administration approved the sale of 20% of the US’s uranium to Russia back in 2010. The fact that the American people and Congress were not informed was mischievous and even criminal. The fact that Obama and the Clintons approved the sale of 20% of the US’s uranium to Russia was shocking and criminal. At the same time the Clintons received massive amounts of cash from the Russians in an apparent ‘pay to play’ transaction where the Clintons received money in return for approving the uranium sale to Russia.
In response to the news, criminal ‘bad cop’ Robert Mueller released information that Friday that he was going to make arrests in regards to the Trump-Russia special investigation. This person was crucial in approving the Uranium One deal, and also the sale of the cargo terminal at Port Canaveral to an Arab firm partnered with the Russians. I would not be surprise if Obama's "Organizing for America" PAC didn't also receive a significant portion of the money from this deal.
If Sessions won't pursue justice, it doesn't matter how many "revelations" come out. This farce will just continue to erode the social fabric of society. First Charges Filed In U.S. Special Counsel's Russia Investigation
Reuters -- (WASHINGTON, Oct 27) – A federal grand jury on Friday approved the first charges in the investigation into alleged Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, a source briefed on the matter told Reuters.
The indictment was sealed under orders from a federal judge so it was not clear what the charges were or who the target was, the source said, adding that it could be unsealed as early as Monday.
The filing of charges by the grand jury in Washington was first reported on Friday by CNN, which said the target could be taken into custody as soon as Monday.
U.S. intelligence agencies concluded in January that Russia interfered in the election to try to help President Donald Trump defeat Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton through a campaign of hacking and releasing embarrassing emails, and disseminating propaganda via social media to discredit her campaign.
Special counsel Robert Mueller, a former director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, is investigating whether Trump campaign officials colluded with those Russian efforts.
“If the Special Counsel finds it necessary and appropriate, the Special Counsel is authorized to prosecute federal crimes arising from the investigation of these matters,” Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein said in a May 17 letter appointing Mueller.
Sources familiar with Mueller’s investigation said he has used that broad authority to investigate links between Trump aides and foreign governments as well as possible money laundering, tax evasion and other financial crimes.
Peter Carr, a spokesman for Mueller, declined to comment on Friday.
Trump, a Republican who was elected president last November, has denied allegations that his campaign colluded with Russians and condemned investigations into the matter as “a witch hunt”.

Wall Street Journal Editorial Board Calls On Robert Mueller To Resign From Russia Probe
Breitbart -- The Wall Street Journal’s editorial board called Thursday for FBI Special Counsel Robert Mueller to step down from his role in investigating alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election, saying that he lacks the “critical distance” to analyze recent revelations about the FBI’s role in the saga.
“It is no slur against Mr. Mueller’s integrity to say that he lacks the critical distance to conduct a credible probe of the bureau he ran for a dozen years,” the Journal’s editorial board wrote. “He could best serve the country by resigning to prevent further political turmoil over that conflict of interest.”
The board was writing in response to recent reports that suggest the FBI uncovered evidence of the Russian bribery and money laundering in the U.S. ahead of a 2010 decision by the Obama administration to greenlight the partial sale of the Canadian firm Uranium One to Russian energy giant Rosatom. The deal transferred control of 20 percent of U.S. uranium stocks to the Russians.
Government Accountability Institute (GAI) President and Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large Peter Schweizer broke the Uranium One scandal in his book Clinton Cash: The Untold Story of How and Why Foreign Governments and Businesses Helped Make Bill and Hillary Rich. He reported that Clinton’s State Department, along with other federal agencies, approved the transfer of 20 percent of all U.S. uranium to Russia and that nine foreign investors in the deal gave $145 million to the Clinton Foundation.
But the controversy re-emerged last week after the Hill reported that the FBI uncovered “substantial evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering” to expand Russia’s nuclear footprint in the U.S. as early as 2009, but the Justice Department did not inform Congress and the public, and did not act on the information until 2014, after the sale was completed.
The FBI also reportedly found evidence that Russian officials routed “millions of dollars” to the U.S. to be funneled into the Clinton Foundation — at a time when Hillary Clinton was serving as secretary of state and served on the government body that approved the deal.
Additionally, the Washington Post reported this week that the Democratic National Committee and Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign funded Fusion GPS as it put together the so-called “Trump dossier,” a dossier of mostly uncorroborated accusations against Trump, many of which the Journal notes are based largely on Kremlin-connected sources. This raises the possibility that Democrats funded a Moscow-pushed misinformation campaign against Trump.

And because of President Trump's comment to the then Director of the FBI James Comey, concerning Michael Flynn - that Trump said he hoped Comey could let it go. Mueller is also looking into this. But - Comey did nothing about it or act on Trump's mention of Flynn. But Mueller's gang is also digging into this and whatever else they think they can do to make a case against Trump. Muller has already hired 13 lawyers and plans to hire more. He is a close friend of James Comey. This is not going to be over soon because he and his staff will carry this at least through the 2018 midterm elections and I have little doubt through President Trump's entire first term. Mueller and the crooked Hillary-connected gang that he stacked his ‘independent’ investigation with, are running a kangaroo court. And because of this they are not pushing to move his agenda through the House and Senate. The Democrats are convinced they have already succeeded in being able to win back the House in 2018. A number of Republicans who are up for reelection in 2018 had better get off their sorry asses and throw their support behind President Trump. He was responsible for the wave of Republican victories in the last election and these useless GOP hacks had better realize it before they find themselves packing and leaving DC.
Why have the power if the party is not going to use it? This so-called 'investigation' should have limits, the Mueller probe should only be able to investigate the Russian connection - and there exists nothing that can honestly be proven to tie President Trump's victory - with whatever the Russians did prior to and during the 2016 election. An independent council should not be allowed to look at everyone and everything within the administration, and Trump's finances and his family. The Columbia University professor, Daniel Richman, that the fired FBI Director James Comey utilized as the go-between to provide leaks to the media, has gone into hiding.
According to the New York Post Mr. Richman headed out of town mid-day on Thursday just as FBI Director James Comey told congress that his friend was utilized to feed leaks to the New York Times.
New York – A Columbia University professor from Brooklyn went into hiding Thursday after pal James Comey revealed during his Senate testimony that the man leaked memos detailing the former FBI chief’s conversations with President Trump to the press.
Daniel Richman confirmed by e-mail to several reporters that he was the “good friend” and law-school professor who Comey gave the documents — then bolted out of his Brooklyn Heights home and refused to answer any more questions.
It is absolutely certain that James Comey and Daniel Richman will need to coordinate their stories because the information that Comey gave to congress must match with the timeline of events he described.

How many stories did Daniel Richman leak? How many times did James Comey use Daniel Richman to leak? How was Richman the source for the May 11th New York Times “loyalty” story, if Richman didn’t have the Comey memos until May 16th? There are so many questions for Comey and Richman. And now Richman hides, has skedaddled, ran away.
Donald Trump must have known what Comey was up to. He cleared his office to talk to Comey. He told him something (perhaps Flynn is a good guy) that nobody else would hear, if it leaked, Trump knew that the leaker was Comey.

Comey Admits To Leaking Contents Of Notes Of Trump Meeting Hoping To Prompt Appointment Of A Special Counsel
The Hill -- Shortly after his dismissal as head of the FBI, James Comey authorized "a close friend" to leak the contents of his memos to the press in order to prompt a special counsel investigation.
The memo, written contemporaneously, documented Comey's Oval Office meeting with President Trump during which the president allegedly asked him to drop the investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn.
"I asked a friend of mine to share the content of the memo with a reporter," Comey told the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday. "I didn't do it myself for a variety of reasons but I asked him to because I thought that might prompt the appointment of a special counsel."

Today the accusation that President Trump directly colluded with Russia to interfere in the U.S. election "came apart" following former FBI Director James Comey's testimony in front of Congress.
So, why didn't Comey tell the liberal 'fake news' media and the American people this, during the past four months?

"We keep talking about this cloud, you perceive the cloud to be the Russia investigation in general, but the specific ask [from Trump] was that you would tell the American people what you had already told him, what you had already told the leaders of Congress, both Democrats and Republicans, that he was not personally under investigation" Rubio asked.

"This investigation is full of leaks left and right," Rubio said. "We've learned more from the newspapers sometimes than we do from our open hearings for sure. You ever wonder why in this Russia investigation the only thing that's never been leaked is the fact that the president was not personally under investigation."

I have to admit, if you can get by the madness of it all, it's quite amusing how all the liberals who hated Comey and blamed him for Hillary's loss when he "investigated" her, are now turning him into the Greatest American Hero. What a spectacle Comey and the Democrats made of themselves at the Senate hearing today, falling all over themselves to praise him. But Comey says he is so concerned about maintaining the integrity of the legal system and the FBI. He's a liberal hack. No one has questioned the drama queen Comey's veracity. He's the one that lies, yet everyone has accepted everything he may have said through leaks as true. Comey's self-regard and self-righteousness know no boundaries.
So Comey leaked to the press, through a "friend" - how does his notes stand as a document? Is it government property? Or his since it was supposedly, just his private recollection of a meeting. Although a meeting with the POTUS on government property while he was still a government employee? How do we know that his recollection is based on any reality but his? But he never recorded memos of meetings with Obama, he didn't have the interview with Clinton recorded either or done under oath, but he made memos of meetings with Trump?
This entire situation stinks of Comey’s own personal agenda, and of self-promotion and self-interest. This is a political circus that will continue to go on within the Democratic Party and mainstream media with the sole intent of taking President Trump down and out of office. The former Director of the FBI, has for quite a while, been used as a source for the Democrats political witch hunt. I could not cover all that went on in the Senate hearing, but today was a huge beat-down of the Democrat accusers and liberal mainstream media.
GP -- Judge Napolitano spoke with Trish Regan on Wednesday concerning former FBI Director James Comey’s statements that were released before his much anticipated Thursday testimony.
Napolitano told FOX Business Network the documents reveal President Trump did nothing illegal.
Judge Napolitano: "It doesn’t appear as though these conversations that the president had with Director Comey could constitute the level of constitutional obstruction of justice necessary to commence any further proceedings like impeachment like Democrats want to do."
Blog Author's Comments: I agree with what Napolitano had to say, but I didn't need the Judge to tell me that Trump did nothing illegal. Liberals have been stuck in desperation since the evening of November 8th and it hasn't improved one bit since then. They have lost their collective minds and it does not appear they will lighten up any time soon.
It is totally bizarre that the fake news keeps coming with no evidence, and the Democrats will continue to play their game no matter how many investigations show that Trump did nothing illegal concerning the Russians and the election. They won't give it up and accept the fact that their candidate lost plain and simple.
The members of the Democratic Party and media just keep making fools of themselves with stories that are nothing but innuendo, false assumptions, anonymous sources, and so on - and when the facts come out, they're proven to be dead wrong - if not blatant liars.
It's disgusting what's become of the mainstream media. Their deceit and untrustworthiness is doing massive harm to this nation. The news media is supposed to be an unbiased source to protect the citizens from government and to inform us of current affairs. Those days are long gone and will never return. The print media, in particular the NY Times and Washington Post, are the worst and years ago they used to have stellar reputations.
