Will Rogers: "Not Much Has Changed Over 80 Years"...

Blog Author's Comments: I have to wonder what Mr. Rogers would say now, if he could see what has happened to politics in America. Because a non-politician business man decided to run for president, to help our country and the people, due to the ineptness of those who came before him.

The man won the election because the voters were extremely tired of the lies and the way they have been treated for so many years. And this president has many great ideas on how to make the country better for everyone and has been very successful. But, he has constantly had to fight against the Democrats and some members of his own Republican Party.

From the beginning of his time in office, the Democratic Party, all media outlets, the FBI and most other government agencies, that were at one time thought of as organizations the law-abiding citizens believed they could trust, have done everything they could to stop him from implementing his plan to make America great again. They are doing everything and anything in their attempt to remove the duly elected president from office, ruin his life, the lives of his family and his extremely successful business.

#WalkAway Movement Doubles During Kavanaugh Confirmation...

Blog Author's Comments: The Kavanaugh confirmation has come to an end and the entire country saw it play out on the national stage. For many, it has led them to rethink where they stand on politics. One America's Jack Posobiec sat down with the founder of the #WalkAway movement to learn how this will affect the upcoming midterm elections.

This author is one person that is quite glad that this #WalkAway movement is beginning to happen. If this is the real deal, it will be supported by a large number of level headed people that care for America. Maybe, many years from now, this could be the new normal. But, I have to wonder about such a movement, due to the fact that there are so many low I.Q. individuals who stop, watch, listen to and believe much of what is regurgitated by the leftist mainstream media.

We will see if the liberal Democrats are a dying breed, after the 2018 midterm elections and the presidential election of 2020. It is difficult to believe how anyone who thinks for themselves could vote for someone on the left, after all their insanity the last two years. They have gone completely overboard with what they preach and how they conduct themselves.

In a quote purported to be from Winston Churchill, "If you're not a Liberal at 30, you have no heart. If you're still a Liberal at 40, you have no brain." Many of us thought and hoped that the Democrats shot themselves in the foot with the horrific way they treated Judge Brett Kavanaugh during his confirmations hearings. And this was not only from the youthful senators, who were there to mainly make a name for themselves, but many of the old guard. Let us hope many folks are waking up and seeing how dangerous the Democratic Party has become.

Talk is cheap as some wise man once said; the time for this #WalkAway movement to get a foot hold will be by voting for the Republican candidates who are running for office in the midterm elections.

Build The Wall: Prominent Trump Voters
Call For Construction And Funding ASAP

InfoWars -- Democrats and RINOs in Congress have managed to temporarily delay plans for President Trump’s border wall by blocking its initial funding, and while the mainstream media gloats, prominent Trump voters say construction must proceed.

Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach stressed the importance of beginning construction immediately to both signal to illegal aliens that strict immigration laws will continue to be implemented, and because of the sheer immensity of the project.

Indicating that he is not happy with the prospect of postponing the venture until the fall, Kobach told Fox and Friends, “Just by starting a project like this, you send a huge message.”

People are pointing to the fact that border apprehensions are down 61% – that’s because a message was sent by the Trump administration that, ‘Hey, we’re going to get tough on illegal immigration.'”

“We only have adequate barriers on less than 400 miles of the border – the border is 1,989 miles long, so you’re not talking about something that we can do in less than a year.”

Kobach went on to note that The Wall was one of Trump’s most important campaign promises to his supporters, and that Democrat actions to thwart the will of the people could backfire.

“I think the Democrats are making a politically unwise calculation,” he said. “They’re in sort of a ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ mode – they want to get a scalp off the Trump administration, they want some victory.”

“They’re not realizing their voters back home are watching them on this, and they’re not going to agree with them.”

Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) has introduced the ‘El Chapo Act,’ which proposes that funding for The Wall be drawn from the estimated $14 billion fortune that could be seized from Mexican drug kingpin, Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman, by the U.S. government if Guzman is convicted.

These drug cartels are the ones that are crossing the border, they’re smuggling narcotics, they’re engaged in human trafficking, they’re engaged in murder and extortion,” Cruz said. “There is a sense of justice… to say that the people who are violating the border like crazy – we should use their ill-gotten gains to finally build the wall.”

Cruz assessed that Senate Democrats are being led by Chuck Schumer’s “left-wing radical base” to oppose any actions or measures taken by the Trump administration without basis or reasoning – even if it means a dreaded ‘government shutdown.’

“I think Chuck Schumer and the Democrats want a shutdown – I think they’re trying to provoke a fight.”

Paul Nehlen, an Ohio businessman and former challenger to Paul Ryan for his congressional seat, has accused Ryan of sabotaging President Trump’s efforts to strengthen border security.

“You cannot effectively deport an illegal alien without a means to keep them out of this country,” Nehlen wrote on social media. “Take a moment and hear the names and brief stories of some Americans murdered at the hands of illegals, many of whom were previously deported. Paul Ryan is undermining President Trump and American safety and security.”

President Trump has assured his supporters that his position on building The Wall has not changed, and to not believe discouraging reports from the fake media to the contrary.
“Don’t let the fake media tell you that I have changed my position on the WALL,” he said. “It will get built and help stop drugs, human trafficking etc.”
Blog Author's Comments: I do not believe President Trump has 'rolled over' on the wall; this was probably his most prominent campaign issue which had many previously non-voters and election 'fence sitters' take notice. The 'Wall' has got to be built, and I believe that it will be. But, this is not a project that can be accomplished within a year or less, but I do think that a GOP plan for the funding of this project should be one of the many priorities that is dealt with by both the House and Senate. The wall will stop many illegals from wandering into our country at will, and will make a powerful statement that the United States and the Trump administration are serious about border security.

As I have said, this was probably Trump's most important promise to the American citizens and voters. And many of the people who supposedly voted for Trump already have their panties in a twist because this project has not yet been funded or started. President Trump has been in office less than 100 days. Just remember how many, and who Trump had to fight to win the Presidency. The 'never trump" wing of the GOP, the Democrats, the liberal mainstream media which is probably over 90% of all the media.

These are the same people trying to stop him from being successful with what he campaigned on and our country needs. He requires the help of the people in the party, and right now with everything that has to be done, it is an uphill battle for sure. Trump cannot accomplish everything that has to be done on his own and he has said in a recent interview that he is 'disappointed' with many Congressional Republicans. For the Trump doubters, think a little bit and have some patience. This is no time to panic, I will tell you when it is time to panic. There is little doubt in my mind, and I am not a patient person, that much of what he campaigned on will eventually come to fruition.

John McAfee Talks About The 'Russian Hack' & It Has Been Politicized

GP - One of the most brilliant cyber-security experts has come forward to give his thoughts on the supposed Russian hack of the U.S. election.

From RT -- "The sloppiness of the alleged DNC hack by itself proves it was not organized by a nation state, and the “utter nonsense” presented as proof of Moscow’s involvement is rather evidence of intelligence agencies being “ignorant and naïve,” John McAfee told RT.

The so-called evidence of the Russian involvement in the hacks not only looks like “the most deceptive propaganda was perpetrated on the American public” but actually proves quite the opposite, McAfee believes…

Thus, McAfee believes, the whole “Russian hacking” narrative is either “propaganda intended to incite the American people, to anger toward Russia for some reason, or our intelligence community is so ignorant and naïve that they should all be replaced.”

Cybersecurity specialist believes that based on the presented evidence the hack “cannot possibly be an organized nation-state.”

“The hack on the DNC used a piece of malware a year and a half old and there have been many updates since then, McAfee said. “This was done by an independent one person kid that downloaded the software. Please, this is not an organized hack and certainly not a nation-state that did this.”

John McAfee Russia Did Not Hack The DNC

"How did NBC get “an exclusive look into the top secret report he (Obama) was presented?” Who gave them this report and why? Politics!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 6, 2017
"The Democratic National Committee would not allow the FBI to study or see its computer info after it was supposedly hacked by Russia……

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 6, 2017
"So how and why are they so sure about hacking if they never even requested an examination of the computer servers? What is going on?

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 6, 2017

Blog Author's Comments -- Does anyone actually think we would have still heard about the so-called Russian hacking story and fake news if Hillary had won the election? This would not be happening. The Democratic Party and media is responsible for dividing this country by telling lies, when it could be responsible for bringing the country together by telling the truth which rarely happens.

Russia is just one big distraction so the focus is taken off of just how corrupt and outright criminal Hillary Clinton is, the mainstream media and the vast majority of the political establishment have been for so many years. I don't believe anything out of the Obama administration. Why would I believe even the intelligence that also works behind this administration?

If they keep this up President-Elect Trump will be guaranteed to be elected for a second term. People need to wake up to Obama and the people controlling the media and what you aren't being told that is eventually leaked at some point. Always look for ulterior motives. The only reason all of this is happening is to delegitimize President-Elect Donald J. Trump's win as our next president. The Democrats, Obama and the MSM still cannot believe that Hillary lost and will not be their president.

Declassified DNI Report - Clapper's Latest
Claim Blames Russian Media, Not Hackers
The intensely political James Clapper and John Brennan intelligence claim, outlining the “Vast Russian Conspiracy” against Hillary Clinton, was taken to new levels of absurdity today with the release of a 25 page report (Full PDF File Here) which downplays the previous Russian hacking claim and instead focuses “enhanced intervention techniques” by, …wait for it…. yup, Russian media.

No, you really can’t make this stuff up. Anyone who previously doubted the intelligence community would politicize their findings can now put those doubts to rest. This report should be ridiculously embarrassing for the United States intelligence apparatus.

White House Corruption? - Could Never Happen

If you receive your political information from the 'main-stream' media, perhaps this will be news to you. A job offer scandal in the White House.

Democratic Congressman Joe Sestak (D-PA) said months ago that to ensure he would not run against Arlen Spector in the Democratic primary election, he was offered a high-ranking job. It was alleged that the job was the position of Secretary of the Navy. We have now been told by the White House that the job offer was an unpaid, advisory position.

Sestak admitted to the press an offer was made, but for months the White House press secretary, Robert Gibbs continued to deflect the question saying "nothing inappropriate happened." Obama told Fox News, "I can assure the public that nothing improper took place. But as I said, there will be a response shortly on that issue."

The rumor was that Obama asked Bill Clinton to make the job offer. Apparently, according to the White House it was Bill Clinton who did make the offer. He was asked to do so by someone in the White House. Probably, Rahm Emanuel, but clearly Obama initiated the idea and told Emanuel to ask Clinton to make the offer to Sestak.

Obama's promise while campaigning, for a government of transparency and cleaner politics was dangled in front of the young and naive voters. This promise does not seem to be quite true.
Obama has clean hands at all times, right?

Mr. Sestak of course declined the offer and went on to win the primary election earlier this month. This will finally put an end to the job of the flip-flopper from one party to the next, Arlen Spector. Once again there was a White House 'cover up.' Did Obama lie? If so, what's new?

A side note to all of this and another rumor. Rep. Joe Sestak could have been offered a job on the President's Intelligence Advisory Board. But Sestak would not have been eligible for this job. If Bill Clinton made this offer, it could not have happened as long as Sestak remained a member of congress.

Obama The Self Portrait - Uh-Uh...I Don't Think So

[Zoom - Click Image / Close - Back Button]

This cartoon does a good job of portraying Obama's view of himself as the 'Savior' of our country. I think he sees himself as a person who can do no wrong. He feels he is the best and brightest President our country has ever had.

Anything which does not go as planned during his time in office, will never be his fault. He will continue to point the finger at whomever is available and the easy target. He will never accept blame. He is already a legend in his own mind.

Obama continues to blame George W. Bush for the damage Obama and his administration have already done to the country during his first two years in office. This will not stop. His liberal base will always agree with him no matter what he says or does. The majority of the media will not let him fail.
Obama has a quest for power. He came to Washington to change everything that made the country great. He wants to dismantle capitalism. He cannot tell the people what his ambitions for the country are because most of them would not agree with him. I hope by now that many who voted for him understand what a huge mistake they made.
He wants to level the playing field with income redistribution and punish the achievers of society. He would like to model the USA to Great Britain or perhaps Canada. He ran as a moderate, but as we have seen so far, he will govern from the hard left. Watch what he does, not what he says.

The Oil Spill Continues - Obama Does Nothing

What a surprise. James Carville who 95% of the time will back the liberal Democrats, is speaking out against Obama. The majority of the media is still protecting Obama.

Obama and his administration have up to this point not treated the BP oil spill as though it was all that important to them. Hey Obama, where have you been? Why have you not been pushing BP and consulting any and all of the experts in the world for a way to cap this well and stop the oil leak? I assume he had more important issues to deal with. The man-child insists he has been on the job since day one.

On "Good Morning America" the Democrat strategist James Carville said about the current regime. The "political stupidity is unbelievable. Carville also said, "the president doesn't get down there in the middle of this, I have no idea why they did not seize this thing and I have no idea of why their attitude was so hands off here."

This Thursday, Obama will announce new tactics his government will take to prevent any future oil spills. On Friday Obama will visit the gulf coast. Only his second visit since the start of the spill which was over five weeks ago.

Carville said the Obama response to the BP spill can only be called "lackadaisical." Obama is blaming the Bush administration when he should have done more and his administration should have worked closely with BP to come up with a way to cap the spill.

We are into week six of this oil spill, now BP has come up with an idea which could stop the leak. They have run the idea past the Coast Guard and they have said, okay, try it. But who will take credit for the solution if BP's fix works? Barack Hussein Obama.

He will tell us that he has been on top of this from the beginning. The man is a total incompetent who would rather point fingers than do the work to fix the problem and find a solution. This is one he cannot fix by passing a bill to spend billions of dollars.

Karl Rove has said: "Could this be Mr. Obama's Katrina?"

After hurricane Katrina, federal obligation was to "support State and local assistance efforts" by providing whatever resources a governor requests and then writing checks for the cleanup. Mr. Bush had to deal with a Louisiana governor and a New Orleans mayor who were, by federal law, in charge. They did not take action before the storm hit and were not able to handle the crisis.

The BP oil well was drilled in Federal waters, so Washington, not Louisiana should be in charge. It is the responsibility of the Obama administration. But once BP comes up with a fix, the President will find a way to take the credit.

[From Michelle Malkin, May 27, 2010, 1:00 p.m. Eastern:]
Summary of Obama’s oil spill remarks at today's press conference: Bush at fault. Cozy regulators at fault.
Solution: More government, no more drilling.

Obama defends his sluggish response. Bottom line: You all are too stupid and uninformed to realize that this has been his “highest priority” and that the White House has been “singularly focused” on the oil spill.

Obama: “Those who think we were slow in our response or lacked urgency don’t know the facts.” “I’m confident that people are going to look back and say that this administration was on top of what was an unprecedented crisis.”

No More Flag Pins - Democrat Lawmakers Wear Protest Braclets

Ending a week where the Democrats gave the Mexican President a standing ovation after he berated our country and immigration laws on the house floor, now we have the Democrats sporting their new jewelry.

Because of the new immigration law in Arizona, Rep. Joe Baca, Democrat from California, is boycotting Arizona. Baca has ordered and is distributing wristbands much like the braceletes promoted by Lance Armstrong and his 'LiveStrong' braclets.
The big difference is that Rep. Baca's bracelets promote the denunciation of the immigration law passed by the state of Arizona.
The bracelets colors are red, yellow and blue, the colors of Arizona's flag. They are to be worn as a show of solidarity against the 'controversial' Arizona law. In Washington, Baca has gotten House Speaker Pelosi and most members of the Democratic leadership to wear them at a recent fundraiser for Baca. That's right folks, they are now wearing the bracelets with pride. See Steny Hoyer (D-MD) above, looks as though he certainly enjoys his new bracelet.

The continual criticism of a state is not enough for the Democrats, now they are wearing their protest bracelets. As part of Baca's boycott, he refuses to fly through Phoenix on his weekly trips to and from Washington. I have to believe the people of Arizona are extremely happy about that.

Suggestion for Rep. Baca and his buddies, why not do your jobs and actually read the Arizona bill and take a peak at the polls. You may find that most of the country supports Arizona and believes the new immigration bill to be a good idea.

They Walk Amongst Us

The included video/audio is supposedly from a caller to the Michael Savage (photo at left) talk show. The first time I listened to the caller and what she had to say I thought this has to be a setup. I cannot believe that anyone would actually be this ignorant or even this liberal. It was difficult to comprehend her thought pattern. Unbelievable that she would call a national talk show to tell the listeners how she felt.

I do have to admit when browsing and viewing many blogs over the years, I have discovered that these folks are out there in large numbers. This is one of the reasons we now find our country in the shape it is in.

There are a few blogs I will check from time to time and the same people are posting many of the same views as the caller to the Savage talk show. This will happen on a daily basis and many are educated people. They walk amongst us and they can vote.

A brief Michael Savage biography:

Michael Alan Weiner, better known by his pseudonym Michael Savage, is an American radio host, best-selling author, and conservative political commentator. He is the host of The Savage Nation, a nationally-syndicated talk show that airs throughout the United States on Talk Radio Network.

The Savage Nation has an audience of 8 to 10 million listeners on 350 stations across the United States, making it the fourth most listened to radio talk show in the country, He holds master's degrees in medical botany and medical anthropology and he earned a Ph.D from the University of California, Berkeley.
Savage has summarized his political philosophy in three words: borders, language, and culture. He outspokenly opposes illegal immigration to the United States, supports the English-only movement and argues that Liberalism and Progressivism are degrading American culture.

Mexico's President Calderon and Obama Agree

Mexican President Felipe Calderon has been in our country for two days bashing the U.S. from the floor of the house with regard to our immigration laws. Of course, he received a standing ovation.

Calderon believes Arizona's law to be "discriminatory”, because it requires law enforcement officers to determine the immigration status of anyone they suspect of being an illegal immigrant, provided they are already in contact with that person for another violation.

The police can’t randomly stop people and demand proof of citizenship which would be racial profiling. The law prohibits this. Our President Barack Obama agrees with Mexican President Felipe Calderon with regard to Arizona's new law. Neither of them believe it should exist.

The Mexican immigration law states that law enforcement officials are “required to demand that foreigners prove their legal presence in the country before attending to any issues.”
What Obama is not saying, and I have said in other posts, is that he wants to make all the illegals legal. It's called amnesty. For Obama, more illegal immigrants = more votes for the Democrats. He sees another 12 million Democrat voters if he can accomplish that. This would probably keep the Democrats in power forever.

Calderon wants Obama and Congress to allow Mexican immigrants to enter our country, and the Arizona law removed. I was somewhat surprised that Obama did not bow to the guy.

In the video Calderon admits to CNN that Mexico demands papers and deports illegals. Same guy who stood with Obama and said that our immigration laws and the new law passed in Arizona need to be changed.

This is how Mexico deals with their illegal immigration problems. Mexico has a single, streamlined law that ensures that foreign visitors and immigrants are:

  • in the country legally

  • have the means to sustain themselves economically

  • not destined to be burdens on society

  • of economic and social benefit to society

  • of good character and have no criminal records

  • contribute to the general well-being of the nation

Who could disagree with this law? The Mexican constitution defines the rights of citizens and the denial of many fundamental rights to non-citizens.

Hey Obama, why can't we do this?

Ann Coulter - The Woman Liberals Love To Hate

I am a fan of Ann Coulter, enjoy her writing and her grasp of political issues. Another reason, is that I have the same views as she with regard to politics. She also has a unique ability to debate these issues. I read her weekly column which is published every Wednesday.

I never watch network news shows but, if by chance I hear that she will be making an appearance on a radio talk show, I will listen to the show. She is a very bright and often humorous lady, particularly when she is skewering her liberal opponents.

I also believe her writing to be quite good. It is serious and to the point, with just enough sarcasm and humor thrown in to always make the subject interesting. If you want to start an argument with a Democrat all that is required is the mention of her name.
Ann Coulter is an American constitutional attorney, conservative social and political commentator, best selling author and syndicated columnist. She frequently appears on television, radio, and as a speaker at public and private events. Well-known for her right-wing political opinions and the controversial ways in which she defends them, Coulter is a skilled debater in speech or writing who likes to "stir up the pot" and, unlike "broadcasters," does not "pretend to be impartial or balanced."

Coulter is a best selling author of seven books, and as mentioned, publishes a weekly syndicated newspaper column. She has been described as "Rush Limbaugh in a miniskirt". She also makes numerous public appearances, speaking on television and radio talk shows, as well as on college campuses, receiving both praise and protest.
Coulter has, on occasion, responded with insulting remarks towards hecklers and protestors who attend her speeches because - they deserve it. I believe that she is an attractive lady and also 'thick skinned' when it comes to taking on her opponents and defending her opinions.

A Few Quotes From Ann Coulter:

  • Democrats always assure us that deterrence will work, but when the time comes to deter, they're against it.
  • I love to engage in repartee with people who are stupider than I am.
  • I might be in favor of national healthcare if it required all Democrats to get their heads examined.
  • I've decided to cut out the part of the speech where I say anything nice about Democrats.
  • If John Kerry had a dollar for every time he bragged about serving in Vietnam - oh wait, he does.
  • If only Al Sharpton were around, Lincoln would have known he was a victim of racism.
  • If we're so cruel to minorities, why do they keep coming here? Why aren't they sneaking across the Mexican border to make their way to the Taliban?.
  • Ironically, since Obama was elected, for the first time in my life I'm sometimes not proud of my country.
  • Liberals are stalwart defenders of civil liberties - provided we're only talking about criminals.
  • Political debate with liberals is basically impossible in America today because liberals are calling names while conservatives are trying to make arguments.
  • The New York Times editorial page is like a Ouija board that has only three answers, no matter what the question. The answers are: higher taxes, more restrictions on political speech and stricter gun control.
  • When every one of your arguments is characterized as an attempt to bring back slavery or resegregate lunch counters, it's a little hard to have any sort of productive debate.
  • Whether they are defending the Soviet Union or bleating for Saddam Hussein, liberals are always against America. They are either traitors or idiots, and on the matter of America's self-preservation, the difference is irrelevant.
  • While the form of treachery varies slightly from case to case, liberals always manage to take the position that most undermines American security.

Chris Matthews - Cannot Find Anyone

Amusing. Two days ago, Chris Matthews who hosts
'Hardball', a liberal news show on MSNBC, issued an invitation to any Republican officeholder to come on his show and denounce Rush Limbaugh.

He claims Limbaugh has gone too far with his criticism of Barack Hussein Obama and the Democratic party. Matthews wanted someone, anyone, within the GOP ranks to tell the country that Rush Limbaugh is wrong and should not be held in such high esteem as a conservative, and a driving force for conserative values for our country.

It was Rush Limbaugh, when Obama was elected President. who said "I hope he fails." I believe that after less than two years, more people are also agreeing with him. When he said, "I hope he fails" what he was referring to was Obama's policies and how Obama wants to reshape the country. It has not taken very long to prove that Rush Limbaugh was right again.

After two days, Matthews announced that he had no takers on his invitation for a Limbaugh basher. I have to believe that Rush Limbaugh is correct when he said that one reason Matthews could not find anyone to come 0n his show was that no one knew he had issued the invitation. Nobody watches the show. Let's be honest, who watches MSNBC and the extreme liberal Chris Matthews? Only the hard core liberals who want socialism for the country.

Now McCain Says - "Complete The Danged Fence"

A recent campaign ad from John McCain. The Republican Senator from Arizona. Looks as if re-election may be a little shaky for McCain in Arizona and he is now saying something totally different from what he and Ted Kennedy were trying to push in 2007.
At that time McCain-Kennedy may have used other phrases like "path to citizenship" and "temporary worker." The McCain-Kennedy bill still offered legal status to illegal immigrants. Now he wants to "complete the danged fence."
I was not aware the Federal government had ever made much of a start on said fence. With Obama at the helm for now, nothing will be done to secure our borders. This is precisely why Arizona passed their own law to try to protect themselves from being overrun by the illegals. McCain is another RINO I would like to see defeated by a true 'conservative' Republican candidate.

Journalists And Journalism Schools

[Zoom - Click Image / Close - Back Button]

The man on the left in the above cartoon strip, is probably a liberal who wants to boycott the state of Arizona, because of the new law which they have passed. The illegals are breaking the existing law and the Federal government is no help. But, the protester no doubt, believes it to be a 'racist' law.

The lady on the right is voicing her concerns as a backer of the 'Tea Party' movement. She is possibly a supporter of the Arizona law. She is no doubt more of a conservative thinking individual, but still expressing her views.

I have noticed for many years, that the liberals seem to me to be the more hostile of the two party systems of politics. Yet, they see themselves as the party who wants to help those in need, the kinder gentler people. They also portray the Republican Party as the party of the rich, who do not care for those in our society and around the world, who for one reason or another, require help or financial assistance.

More than a few decades ago, those interested in the news would read their evening paper or watch the 11:00 p.m. network news programs, which at that time primarily consisted of ABC, CBS and NBC. What was interesting was that most of the readers and viewers of the 'news' trusted what they read and heard. If it was in the newspaper, "it must be true". I did not believe this but many people did.

This has certainly changed. I would guess that most of the 'talking heads’, who read from a teleprompter, are graduates of journalism school and the majority are liberals in the tank for the Democrat party. The bias is so blatant, it is at times amusing. Do these people go in to journalism school as liberals or must a student attain a certain level of liberalism to graduate from the school?

The 'newscasters', in all seriousness, spew their talking points and one sided liberal views and expect us to believe them. They view themselves as 'professional journalists' and they know what is best for us.

I choose to educate myself concerning politics and the news via on-line national blogs and radio talk shows which I feel I can trust. The reason I feel this trust is because the left are obviously out to take the conservative shows and blogs down. They don't want anyone to be told the truth about so many issues which affect all of us and our country. The few who I trust are viewed by the left as the enemy. So, I guess I am also the enemy. I can live with that.

Gov. Jan Brewer - Reasons For New Arizona Bill

A short video, paid for by the Governor of Arizona Jan Brewer, which provides a quick overview of why the state needs Bill SB 1070. Our esteemed President Barack Obama finds the new bill amusing, he feels "illegal" is a race instead of a crime. I will never in my lifetime see a President who will do more harm to this country in such a short period of time than Barack Obama.

Both President Clinton and George W. Bush never took the open borders to our country seriously, shame on them. Of course, as long as Obama is in office the borders will remain open and this is why Arizona and now more states are adopting laws of their own. If the Federal government will not take the action needed, the states have to protect themselves.

I keep preaching over and over that if with some luck, a small portion of the planned damage to our country can be stalled until the November 2010 election, we have a chance with this election to stop much of what the Democrats want to do to this once great country. Folks, if we don't turn out and vote for the right people in November, our lives and those of the young people will be forever changed for the worse.

If Obama manages two terms in office, he will in eight years change this country forever. It has to be stopped. Obama of course, does not care for the new Arizona bill. What Obama sees in an illegal is a chance to give them all amnesty, keep the borders open and pick up millions of voters who will make sure the Democrats stay in office forever.

Dumb Things Said About Arizona Immigration Law

The 10 dumbest things said about the Arizona immigration law

Over this past week there has been much criticism of Arizona's new immigration law. Obviously the following list of quotes and their sources should not surprise anyone. Those who have read the bill and are aware of the number of illegals in Arizona should understand why the state passed the bill. The residents and politicians of all border states have been dealing with more crime and expense for decades because those in the Federal government have refused to enforce the existing law which is already on the books.

They will not be the only state to enact such a law. They are merely upholding existing law. This means that if you are in this country illegally you have broken the law and you should be deported.

Arizona is merely upholding Federal law. If a police officer has detained a suspect for some other infraction of the law he or she is to determine the immigration status of the person. The officers cannot simply pull over a car to check if the people in the car are illegals.

Of course the Democrats will disagree because they see a day when the illegals are given amnesty and will vote for the Democrats. If you read the law it is not unconstitutional. Arizona is merely trying to protect themselves from being overrun even more by illegals. Many of these people have a criminal background or have their hand out and want to be taken care of.

Bill Clinton and George W. Bush knew of the problem but refused to close the borders. We all know Obama will do nothing with regard to border control.

1. “The statute requires police officers to stop and question anyone who looks like an illegal immigrant.”

-New York Times editorial

2. “As the Arizona abomination makes clear, there is a desperate need for federal immigration action to stop the country from turning into a nation of vigilantes suspicious of anybody with dark skin.”

-Dana Milbank, Washington Post

3. “I can’t imagine Arizonans now reverting to German Nazi and Russian Communist techniques whereby people are required to turn one another in to the authorities on any suspicion of documentation.”

-Cardinal Roger Mahony

4. “This law creates a suspect class, based in part on ethnicity, considered guilty until they prove themselves innocent. It makes it harder for illegal immigrants to live without scrutiny — but it also makes it harder for some American citizens to live without suspicion and humiliation. Americans are not accustomed to the command ‘Your papers, please,’ however politely delivered. The distinctly American response to such a request would be ‘Go to hell,’ and then ‘See you in court.’”

-Michael Gerson, Washington Post

5. “In case the phrase ‘lawful contact’ makes it appear as if the police are authorized to act only if they observe an undocumented-looking person actually committing a crime, another section strips the statute of even that fig leaf of reassurance. ‘A person is guilty of trespassing,’ the law provides, by being ‘present on any public or private land in this state’ while lacking authorization to be in the United States — a new crime of breathing while undocumented.”

-Linda Greenhouse, New York Times
(Greenhouse’s “trespassing” allegation was based on an early version of the Arizona bill that was not the bill that became law. Her mistake was later removed from the Times site)

6. “Federal law treats illegal immigration as a civil violation; Arizona law criminalizes it by using the legally dubious mechanism of equating the mere presence of undocumented immigrants with trespassing.”

-Washington Post editorial
(This editorial makes the same mistake as Linda Greenhouse’s “trespassing” column above.)

7. “I am saddened today at the prospect of a young Hispanic immigrant in Arizona going to the grocery store and forgetting to bring her passport and immigration documents with her. I cannot be dispassionate about the fact that the very act of her being in the grocery store will soon be a crime in the state she lives in…An immigrant who is charged with the crime of trespassing for simply being in a community without his papers on him is being told he is committing a crime by simply being.”

-Bishop Desmond Tutu, Huffington Post
(Tutu is perhaps relying on the erroneous information in the New York Times and Washington Post above.)

8. “It harkens back to apartheid where all black people in South Africa were required to carry documents in order to move from one part of town to another.”

-Cynthia Tucker, Atlanta Journal - Constitution, on ABC's "This Week"

9. “You can imagine, if you are a Hispanic American in Arizona…suddenly, if you don’t have your papers and you took your kid out to get ice cream, you’re going to be harassed.”

-President Barack Obama

10. “This week, Arizona signed the toughest illegal immigration law in the country which will allow police to demand identification papers from anyone they suspect is in the country illegally. I know there’s some people in Arizona worried that Obama is acting like Hitler, but could we all agree that there’s nothing more Nazi than saying ‘Show me your papers?’ There’s never been a World War II movie that didn’t include the line ’show me your papers.’ It’s their catchphrase. Every time someone says ’show me your papers,’ Hitler’s family gets a residual check. So heads up, Arizona; that’s fascism. I know, I know, it’s a dry fascism, but it’s still fascism.”

Arizona Officer Shot By Illegal

A police officer was shot on Friday, April 30, 2010 while on patrol in the Arizona desert near Phoenix. He encountered a group of illegal immigrants who were smuggling bales of marijuana.
This occurred along a major smuggling corridor in the Arizona desert.

He was shot with an AK-47 but luckily his wound was not considered serious. The Democrats, including our President Barack Obama, do not agree with the new law which will hopefully go into affect in late Summer in the state of Arizona.

This law will allow the Arizona police officers to ask for proof of citizenship of a suspected illegal during a routine stop of the person for another matter such as a traffic violation. Civil rights activists believe this new law will lead to racial profiling. In my opinion racial profiling is exactly what is required in dealing with many people in our society who refuse to live by our laws.

The Michael Ramirez cartoon depics what would be a welcome respite to the state of Arizona and many other states. One would only hope that the illegals would boycott these states and go away, sorry it will not happen.

Of course the civil rights folks ignore the crime and cost of illegals in many states. What they see in an illegal is a future Democrat voter, when the Democrats begin the push for passing an amnesty bill which will make the illegals, legal citizens.

When and if this happens, the taxpayers will have even more people for which they will have to fund welfare, housing, food stamps, health care etc. Sadly, our President and the liberal left do not find a problem with this. This is what they want for our society, more people dependent on the government

Rep. Patrick Kennedy - Still Has Problems

Rep. Patrick Kennedy a Democrat from Rhode Island was seen recently in a Washington DC bar downing vodka shots shortly after speaking to a group which helps homeless women.
He supposedly also talked about his own struggle with substance abuse. Kennedy has struggled with substance abuse, alcoholism and drug addiction, since his teens. Last year he checked into a rehab center for help with his problems but apparently this did not do him much good.

Kennedy has said he would not seek re-election, and after he leaves office he wants to help people who deal with substance abuse. I believe he needs to conquer his own problems before he seeks to help others who have the same problems. With all the issues he has had he would no doubt be re-elected to office if he did choose to run. The Kennedy name seems to give them an automatic pass with the Democrat voters, regardless of their past history.

Ted Kennedy had no problems retaining office for decades, even after the incident at Chappaquiddick and the drowning death of Mary Jo Kopechne in 1969 while a passenger in a car driven by Kennedy. Ted Kennedy was a senator for 47 years until his death in 2009.
