Hannity Erupts On Cruz Over Delegates: 'You've Got To Stop!'

WMD -- Sean Hannity, host at Fox News, waxed angry at Sen. Ted Cruz in a recent televised interview, slapping back the presidential contender’s perceived dodge of questions with an angry demand to just “stop” and face the audience concerns.

First, Cruz hit front-runner Donald Trump for “whining” about the delegate process, the Hill reported. Cruz then denied American voters were even concerned about his campaign’s attempt to sway delegates into supporting him on a second ballot at the upcoming Republican National Convention.

Cruz said, the Hill noted: “The media loves to obsess about process. This process and this whining from the Trump campaign is all silly.”

Hannity, however, saw it differently.

“Senator,” he said, “I’m on social media with millions of people. I have 550 radio stations and I have the top-rated cable show at my hour all across the board, and I am telling you that people are telling me that they find this whole process confusing.”

Hannity then brought up Cruz’s attempt to win delegates in Georgia who had been standing on the side of Trump, and said such persuasive tries can be seen as compromising the “integrity of the election,” he said.

Cruz denied that characterization and said the only ones “asking this question are the hardcore Donald Trump supporters,” he said.

Hannity cut in, saying: “Senator, why do you do this? You’ve got to stop. Every time I have you on the air and I ask a legitimate question, you try to throw this in my face. I’m getting sick of it. I’ve had you on more than any other candidate on radio and TV. So if I ask you, senator, a legitimate question to explain to the audience, why don’t you just answer it?”

Cruz again tossed off the question as rooted in the “whining” from the Trump campaign “because they don’t like the fact that they’ve lost five elections in a row,” he said, the Hill reported.

“The Donald Trump campaign doesn’t know what they’re doing,” Cruz said. “They don’t show up. In Colorado, the Donald Trump team was handing out fliers, asking their supporters to vote for a slate of delegates [and] they included Cruz delegates on their slate.”

He also brought up how the Trump campaign sent an email to supporters in Washington, D.C., in the lead up to the Washington state primary, an obvious mix-up of localities.

“I cannot help that the Donald Trump campaign does not seem capable of running a lemonade stand,” Cruz said, the Hill reported. “My focus is on jobs, freedom and security, not this incessant whining from the other side. If you lose, don’t cry about it. Go back and learn how to win an election.”

Ted Cruz On The Sean Hannity Show April 19, 2016 - Entire Audio

Blog Author's Comments -- This is a different type of election and many people are upset at what is happening to our country. Both Democrat and Republican administrations have helped move the country to this point. What really has the sane thinking people up in arms, is the seven years of Barack Hussein Obama and his 'transformation’ of America.

Cruz is a man who really believes the end justifies the means. If he can play the system to exploit it then he will do that. And he is doing this with delegates.

...Hannity then brought up Cruz’s attempt to win delegates in Georgia who had been standing on the side of Trump, and said such persuasive tries can be seen as compromising the “integrity of the election,” he said.

Donald Trump is an extremely successful business man but during the interview Cruz said “I cannot help that the Donald Trump campaign does not seem capable of running a lemonade stand.” The interview was over and Senator Ted Cruz still refused to answer the question put forth by Hannity.

At one time I had hoped that Ted Cruz would run for the Presidency in 2016. But, Donald Trump entered the race and began to say the things many people have wanted to hear for years from a candidate, and he has led in the polls from the beginning and I have sided with him. It is time for a change from electing career politicians and Ted Cruz has shown a different side of himself which I don't care for.

I am optimistic that Trump will be the Republican Party's nominee, but if by chance Cruz is the nominee I will vote for him over Hillary Clinton. Our country can not deal with Clinton after what has happened and is still happening with Obama. This could be the last chance for the Republican Party to elect a president but to do so the 'Republican Establishment' has got to stop playing games. America is desperate for someone who can begin to turn the country around.

The Ted Cruz Mistress Saga...

Enquirer: Three More Babes

Donald Trump Sunday Talk - ABC "This Week"

Blog Author's Comments -- Ted Cruz has not yet been toasted with this mistress saga, but as the days go by this just may have some affect on him with regard to the voters. But, I would never trust anything from the National Enquirer. We can't forget, at least from what I know, the establishment is not too fond of Cruz either.

The fix must be in. There is an all out assault from all sides to stop the Trump train. If there is a contested convention Trump will probably lose the nomination because the 'establishment' will see to it that he does. We will then see Hillary Clinton as our next president. Apparently this is okay with the RNC because they have to know that Trump may be the only one that can defeat her.

Yesterday Senator Cruz appeared on Fox News Sunday and was caught in several lies. One of the more egregious claims was when Cruz stated he immediately denounced the Melania Trump attack ads (mailers in Utah) put forth by a Pro-Cruz Super-PAC. No such denouncement, prior to the Utah election, ever took place.

Donald Trump has ripped the masks off of so many faces, it’s astounding. From the members of the RNC to literally every single talk show radio host and members of the mainstream media has been exposed. I know the Republican 'establishment' has planned a take-down of Trump and this shows who the people really are that we put in charge of the House and Senate. The only thing they are concerned about is their jobs and not the good of the American people.

I thought that the election of 2012 was probably the most important ever, but the election of 2016 will continue to reshape our country. Depending upon who is elected will it be for the good of the country or will it serve to be the demise of our country? Obama has a good start with what he had planned and if Clinton is the next president she will continue what Obama has started.

Is This The Cruz Camp's Cheating?

On Monday Dr. Ben Carson accused the Senator Cruz camp of foul play in the Iowa Caucuses. Dr. Carson said the Cruz camp told voters Carson was dropping out and to support Ted Cruz. See message above. The Cruz camp sent this message out at 7:01 p.m. before the voting started.

On Wednesday, Karl Rove, certainly not a Trump fan, explained how the message to the Cruz precinct captains could have cost Donald Trump the election in Iowa.

Karl Rove Explains How Cruz Camp's
Cheating Stole The Election In Iowa

Blog Author's Comments -- Via: Breitbart News (Click Here For Column) -- Exclusive Voicemails: 'Ben Carson Suspending Campaigning', Cruz: 'Accurate Report'

New audio obtained exclusively by Breitbart News indicates that as the Iowa caucuses began on Monday night, the Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) campaign called precinct captains informing them that Dr. Ben Carson was suspending campaigning, and instructing them to tell voters they should “not waste a vote on Ben Carson and vote for Ted Cruz."

The calls were placed after the Carson campaign had already clarified that Carson was not suspending his campaign.

It appears that what Karl Rove said in the video is correct. Perhaps the polls were not wrong and Donald Trump should have won the Iowa Caucus. Now, will anyone dig deeper than what has been done until the truth is revealed? You can be sure that none of the mainstream media, including the so-called conservative radio talk shows will give the voters the real story. None of them care for Trump and it appears from what I have been hearing since Tuesday, they are all pleased with the result of the Iowa caucus as it now stands.

CNN Announces Debate Lineup...

CNN Announces Debate Lineup - Keeps Nine Candidates In Prime Time Debate despite almost everyone agreeing the GOP debates need to be trimmed to the top 5, 6, or 7.
Without a doubt everybody in power and the GOP 'establishment' along with the 'old guard' of the Party and the liberal media, wants to be rid of Donald Trump. But they don't know how to do it because he has such a huge following with the voters and he is still leading in most polls even though Ted Cruz has recently done well in a couple of them. The media has created this huge circus regarding what Trump said concerning the Muslims. The things Donald Trump is saying is what many people want to hear.

Some of the conservative talk show hosts will one week seem to support Donald Trump and the following week Ted Cruz. They are backing who I believe are the two major candidates in the GOP race because they don't want to look bad to their listeners when a Republican nominee is finally chosen. We shall see if the CNN moderators attempt to start an on-stage argument between Trump and Cruz Tuesday evening.

Blog Author's Comments -- It is still quite a while before a Republican nominee is chosen to run in the general election against Hillary Clinton. But, the RNC needs to decide fairly soon who they want to back and campaign for in the election against Clinton. The people of this country cannot take much more of what they have endured with Barack Obama as the president if Clinton wins in 2016.

Boehner Dismisses Ted Cruz's 'Total Nonsense' On Budget Deal

Breitbart -- Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union,” former Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-OH) said Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) criticisms of his budget deal with President Barack Obama as a “complete and utter surrender” is “total nonsense.”

Boehner said, “That’s just total nonsense. This is — we got real entitlement reform in this agreement. We’ve got a big group of members who need more money for our national defense. And all the increases in spending are offset with spending reductions elsewhere in the government.”

On working with Obama, he added, “At the end of the day it’s about doing the best we can, considering those things, on behalf of the American people. So, we had a lot of conversations. Some were better than others.”
Blog Author's Comments -- John Boehner has done enough damage to the American people during his time as Speaker of the House. The GOP will do what they always do when they've included "cuts to spending" in the budget deal, they will only be realized several years in the future. Last week, Ted Cruz called Boehner’s sweeping bipartisan budget deal a “golden parachute” for the departing Speaker and “a slap in the face to conservatives.” I must agree with Ted Cruz.

AP Publishes Images Of Gun Pointed At Ted Cruz's Head

TR -- This is probably a simple oversight.

At a Second Amendment event in Iowa this weekend, the Associated Press published a series of pictures showing a gun pointing at the head of Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX). The event was the "Celebrate the Second Amendment" in Johnston, Iowa.

After social media lit-up over the pictures, the AP released this statement:

"Presidential candidate Ted Cruz was shown in a series of 14 photos taken by an Associated Press photographer at a 'Celebrate the 2nd Amendment' event Saturday afternoon, held at a shooting range in Johnston, Iowa. Five of the photos published by AP included images of guns seen on a wall in the background so that it appeared a pistol was pointed at Sen. Cruz’s head. The images were not intended to portray Sen. Cruz in a negative light".

The media has a double standard on gun related imagery. Accusations were quick to come following the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, including speculation that Sarah Palin's group Sarah PAC may have been to blame for using "crosshairs" on her website to show "targeted" districts for political races.

Can anyone think of an instance where the mainstream media "accidentally" published a picture like this with a Democrat politician?
Blog Author's Comments - Does anyone besides the Democrats and liberals believe this was accidental? A professional photographer didn't just coincidentally end up with a picture like this, he chose his angle and the background deliberately. Can anyone imagine a photo like this with Obama or Hillary Clinton replacing Ted Cruz? It would never happen. The AP Photographer would have been fired immediately.

The liberal AP jumped at yet another occasion to show their hatred and contempt for the Republican Party and presidential candidate Ted Cruz. They sunk to the low level of liberal journalism those on the right have come to expect from them.

Coulter: Cruz And Walker Only 'Palatable' Candidates

Breitbart -- Columnist and author [...],Ann Coulter said that Ted Cruz and Scott Walker are the only “palatable” presidential candidates and that the candidacies of Ben Carson and Carly Fiorina are a “waste of time” on “Hannity” on the Fox News Channel.

Coulter re-iterated her point that Republicans shouldn’t let liberal moderators host their debates, she then stated “most importantly, please Republican primary voters, do not even consider someone who has not been a governor. Maybe a senator, but at least a governor. That is just wasting everybody’s time, energy and money from — and I’ve done it myself. I supported Pat Buchanan, Steve Forbes, probably some other ones, but, no, just don’t even consider them, it’s a waste of time. I love Ben Carson, he can’t be our candidate. Carly Fiorina, no, just get them off the list. We have to get serious about this, we have to back a candidate who’s going to win. Of all the ones that you mentioned [Ted Cruz, Jeb Bush, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum, and Carly Fiorina] I think the only ones I would consider at all palatable are Ted Cruz or Scott Walker.”

Coulter also said of Hillary Clinton, “I don’t think she’s going to be that tough. If we have — the most important issue right now is whom the Republicans choose, not whom the Democrats choose. She’s not a likable person. She has a lot of trouble. She was knocked out once before. You already have the left pushing forward other possibilities.”

Coulter concluded that the best issue for Republicans to emphasize is, it’s been a disaster under Obama. We would like someone to right the ship of state.
Blog Author's Comments - I have been saying this same thing for months. I agree with Coulter...I would support either Cruz or Walker and my first choice would be Ted Cruz yet, I would not be unhappy if Scott Walker were the GOP nominee. But the GOP Establishment is the problem. I would not be surprised if they back Jeb Bush.

Ted Cruz is a great speaker, is highly intelligent, and a natural leader, a man with true conservative convictions. Everyone who has followed him knows where Cruz stands on the issues, he makes the case for his positions unapologetically. Walker has also shown himself to be a strong leader as Governor of Wisconsin. We need that strong leadership in our next President, but will the Republican voters support them?

Ted Cruz Wants Answers To These 4 Questions On Benghazi

The Foundry -- Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, is frustrated by the Obama administration’s “stonewalling” on the Benghazi investigation – and he wants answers about the 2012 terrorist attack.

Speaking to Fox News’ Neil Cavuto yesterday, Cruz said: “We have four dead Americans. We have the first dead U.S. Ambassador killed in service since 1979. In the 19 months that have followed, we don’t have a single dead terrorist or a single terrorist apprehended, and what we have seen from the president and Senate Democrats has been stonewalling.”

Here are the four questions Cruz wants the Obama administration to answer:

1.Why did the State Department repeatedly refuse to provide additional security as was requested by personnel on the ground?

2.Why did the United States not have military assets in place to protect American men and women on Sept. 11, 2012, when there was increased terrorist activity in the region?

3.During the Benghazi attack, why didn’t the United States send in forces to protect the four men who lost their lives?

4.In the 19 months that have followed, why has no one been apprehended, and no one been brought to justice?

Last year, Cruz introduced a Senate resolution calling for a joint select committee to investigate the Benghazi attacks. The House of Representatives is moving forward with its own select committee, which will be led by Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C.

“The truth shouldn’t be partisan,” Cruz said. “Finding out what happened, finding out how we could have prevented it, and acting to actually apprehend these guys, should not be partisan.”

Sen. Ted Cruz Discusses Uncovering The Truth About Benghazi With Neil Cavuto

Blog author's comments - Other Americans want these questions answered also. Why doesn't Obama care about what happened and want answers himself? Because he knows what happened. Libya and Egypt were supposed to be his foreign policy successful accomplishments by helping to remove the dictators in both countries. Where was he during and after this planned terrorist attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya? The ambassador, who was one of the four Americans killed, had asked for more security numerous times, but was turned down. Why wasn't help sent during the attack? Obama supposedly was not even in the situation room during the attack, he was probably planning for his campaign/fundraising stops beginning the following day.

And who came up with the excuse of the You Tube video being the reason for the attack? It could have been Hillary Clinton, and the Obama administration ran with that excuse for weeks and months when they knew that was not true. That was just another attempt to protect Obama and Clinton and hope that all of this would soon go away. The mainstream media did their best as usual to hide the facts from the American people. I am glad that the death of our four Americans has not gone away, but I am still doubtful that the entire truth will ever be known. All of this from what Obama told us would be the most transparent administration ever. Those who have been paying attention know it has been just the opposite.

The thinking citizens of this country still want to know the truth. I don't expect much to come from the Benghazi panel which will be chaired by Rep. Trey Gowdy, Republican from SC. Even though I believe he is the right man to head the committee with hopes of acquiring useful information. The Democrats will fight him from the beginning and there will only be more stalling or delaying especially by refusing to answer questions or cooperating. I believe the answers to all of the questions point directly towards Obama and Hillary Clinton. I hope the voting public keeps this in mind when they vote in the 2014 midterms and in the election in 2016.

Ted Cruz Releases Definitive List Of 76 'Lawless' Obama Actions

Wednesday, January 29, 2014

Ted Cruz: The Imperial Presidency Of Barack Obama

Wall Street Journal (By Sen. Ted Cruz R-TX) -- Of all the troubling aspects of the Obama presidency, none is more dangerous than the president’s persistent pattern of lawlessness, his willingness to disregard the written law and instead enforce his own policies via executive fiat. On Monday, Mr. Obama acted unilaterally to raise the minimum wage paid by federal contracts, the first of many executive actions the White House promised would be a theme of his State of the Union address Tuesday night.

The president’s taste for unilateral action to circumvent Congress should concern every citizen, regardless of party or ideology. The great 18th-century political philosopher Montesquieu observed: “There can be no liberty where the legislative and executive powers are united in the same person, or body of magistrates.” America’s Founding Fathers took this warning to Rule of law doesn't simply mean that society has laws; dictatorships are often characterized by an abundance of laws. Rather, rule of law means that we are a nation ruled by laws, not men. That no one—and especially not the president—is above the law. For that reason, the U.S. Constitution imposes on every president the express duty to "take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed." America's Founding Fathers took this warning to heart, and we should too.[...]

President Obama has a different approach. As he said recently, describing his executive powers: "I've got a pen, and I've got a phone." Under the Constitution, that is not the way federal law is supposed to work.

The Obama administration has been so brazen in its attempts to expand federal power that the Supreme Court has unanimously rejected the Justice Department's efforts to expand federal power nine times since January 2012.

There is no example of lawlessness more egregious than the enforcement—or nonenforcement—of the president's signature policy, the Affordable Care Act. Mr. Obama has repeatedly declared that "it's the law of the land." Yet he has repeatedly violated ObamaCare's statutory text.

Abuse Of Power

Blog author’s comments - The fact that Obama does what he wants with no consequences is what bothers me. But apparently no one is going to stop him or anyone else in his administration. Obama had to take an oath to uphold the Constitution. Once in office, he has many times ignored the Constitution. Now we see him trample on the Constitution. A good column by Senator Ted Cruz concerning his opinion about what Obama is doing and has done.

We cannot assume that the GOP will win the Senate or even retain the House in 2014. There are less than ten months before the midterm elections, and a lot can happen for Obama to convince the voters that the Democrats should again be in full control. Obama and the Democrats know that they cannot be honest and sell their beliefs. So they have to sound like people they are not, and they are good at doing this. We shall see what the Republicans will do to show the voters they can and want to change what is now happening in Washington.

Liberal Heckling Sparks Stream Of One-Liners From Ted Cruz

Daily Caller -- After his recent 21-hour filibuster-style marathon speech on Obamacare, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz found himself heckled over and over again by liberal activists during remarks at a conservative conference in Washington D.C. on Friday.

The constant interrupting by hecklers throughout his speech at the Values Voter Summit led the Republican lawmaker to throw out a number of crowd-pleasing one-liners:

In response to one heckler, Cruz said: “Thank you, sir, for being here. You know, look, it is a great thing that people can express their First Amendment rights. And I only wish the Obama administration respected First Amendment rights that much.”

To another heckler, Cruz responded: “Ma’am, thank you for being here. I wish you would participate in the democratic process through speaking respectfully. … It seems that President Obama’s paid political operatives are out in force today. And you know why? Because the men and women in this room scare the living daylights out of them.”

Interrupted again, Cruz took aim at the president: “You know what? I’m curious. Is anybody left at the Organizing for America headquarters? I’m actually glad that the president’s whole political staff is here instead of actually doing mischief in the country.”

When another heckler yelled out a question, Cruz responded: “You know what’s striking, actually? In the course of this brief speech, we’ve heard more questions than President Obama has allowed in the last year.”

The heckling then led Cruz to “make an offer” to Obama. “I would welcome the president, if he wants to get a hundred of his most rabid political operatives in a room, I’ll answer their questions on television as long as he likes. And in exchange, all that I would ask, Mr. President, is you take not a hundred, but ten of the men and women in this room, and spend 30 minutes answering their questions for the American people.”

To another liberal activist, Cruz responded: “Oh, they don’t want the truth to be heard. They definitely don’t want the truth to be heard.”

After the crowd broke into chants of “USA, USA” in response to another interruption, Cruz said: “You know the nice thing? The nice thing is the left will always always tell you who they fear. You. They fear the American people.”

Cruz received a rock-star-like reception from the conservatives in attendance. “I receive that blessing. And let me say to each and everyone of you, I am inspired by you. I am invigorated by your passion for this great country,” he said.

“These are extraordinary times,” Cruz said at the beginning of this remarks. “These are not typical times. The challenges facing this country are unlike any we have ever seen. You look at our Constitution, you look at our Bill of Rights. This is an administration that seems bound and determined to violate every single one of our Bill of Rights.”

Blog author's comments - I believe it would be much better if we had more lawmakers in the Republican Party like Ted Cruz. He has his plan to turn things around, it's called the Constitution. Way too many Republicans have succumbed to the trappings of DC.

Many members of the party dislike Ted Cruz because after they were elected they left their principles at home. And look where the Republican Party is today. No doubt in the minds of the leftist hecklers, they walked away from the meeting thinking they won. They had no clue that Ted Cruz politely walked over them.

Ted Cruz Launches National Petition Against Gang Of Eight's Bill

Breitbart -- Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) launched a national petition on Thursday to stop the Senate Gang of Eight's amnesty bill and send Washington a "strong signal" of the grassroots opposition to the bill.

"This is urgent," Cruz wrote in an e-mail to supporters. "We must stop this Gang of 8 immigration bill, which would give amnesty to an estimated 11 million illegal immigrants with no guarantee of a secure border."

"The Senate debate is in the final stages and we need to send Washington a strong signal of the overwhelming grassroots opposition to this amnesty bill from Americans across the country," Cruz explained.

Cruz urged supporters to share the petition with friends and to "act now--without delay--to help us defeat amnesty and stand for legal immigration!"
Blog author's comments - Is Ted Cruz the only person making sense in D.C.? It certainly seems like it. The passage of the amnesty bill being pushed by the 'Gang of Eight' and the Democrats will of course mean the demise of the Republican Party. This is exactly what Obama had envisioned when this began.

As I have said before...the only bill that I think should be voted on and passed now is to complete the border fence and hire many more border patrol agents. Until the border is secure, immigration reform should not even be addressed. The Republicans in no way will benefit from giving the illegals amnesty. The majority of the Hispanic people will never vote for the Republican candidates.

If the bill that the Gang of Eight, the Democrats, and some Republicans want is passed it will also mean more of a drain on the government coffers (taxpayers) so it will be a loss for the GOP and the U.S. If the Republican Party stopped this bill they...in my opinion...would gain many votes in the midterm elections of 2014. This is because I don't believe the majority of the voters want to make the illegal immigrants legal. If they want to become citizens of this country we already have laws in place for them to follow.
