Obama To Push Israel If He Is Reelected

Obama to 'take on' Netanyahu after election?
Palestinians say White Houe asked them
to delay demands until 2nd term

Jerusalem -- The Obama administration asked the Palestinian Authority not to make any major demands until after the presidential election in November, a senior PA official told KleinOnline.

The PA official, speaking on condition his name be withheld, said that Obama promised to renew stalled Israeli-Palestinian negotiations on the basis of the 1967 borders, meaning an Israeli withdrawal from eastern sections of Jerusalem as well as from Judea and Samaria, also referred to as the West Bank.

“We were asked by the (U.S.) administration not to make special demands or scandals during the elections,” said the official.

“After elections, the negotiations will be renewed on basis of the Clinton plan, and Obama’s speech in Cairo of the 1967 borders,” the official said.

The Clinton plan is a reference to the formula used during the Camp David negotiations in the summer of 2000 that saw sections of Jerusalem in which Jews predominantly live go to Israel, while areas inhabited by Arabs would become a Palestinian state. The negotiations also called for a near complete Israeli evacuation of the Gaza Strip and West Bank.

The official, however, said the U.S. will press for a Palestinian state quickly if President Obama is reelected.

“The main message we received from the U.S. is that nothing will happen in a serious way before the 2012 elections,” said the official. Entire column...

Blog author's comments - If we think Obama has been anti-Israel the last three years...we have under estimated him. If he gets his second term he will make these last few years look like he’s been Israel’s best friend.

Barack Obama - 'I've Got To Win In 2012'

Obama: 'To Implement Affordable Care
Act in 2014...I've Got to Win in 2012'

CNS News - Speaking at a campaign fundraising event at the Gotham Bar and Grille in New York City on Wednesday, President Barack Obama told a group of supporters he needed to win reelection next year to make sure the health-care law he signed in 2010 will actually be fully implemented in 2014 as planned.

“We still have a health care system that has to get more efficient and that has to improve its quality,” Obama said, according to a White House transcript. “And so we're going to have to implement the Affordable Care Act in 2014, and that means I've got to win in 2012.”

The law Obama signed mandates that by 2104 all must purchase a health-care plan that meets government requirements. The constitutionality of this mandate has been challenged in federal court and the Supreme Court has said it will hear the case in this session. Keep reading...

Blog author's comments - The American people couldn’t afford his first term. America may be finished if Barack Obama is re-elected.

He wants to totally transform this country. It’s that simple. We must elect someone else and let them finish Obamacare - by putting it in the trash where it belongs.

Obama has forced Obamacare on us which most of us do not want. He has increased the debt with his stimulus spending. He has destroyed the private sector economy.

He has filed suit and blocked state laws that attempt to control illegal immigrants while ignoring the existing laws regarding illegals. He has been a total disaster for our country.

Poll: Defeating Obama 'Trumps Ideological Purity'

Poll: Beating Obama 'trumps
ideological purity' for Iowa GOP

Des Moines Register - A new poll conducted by former George W. Bush pollister Jan van Lohuizen shows that likely Iowa caucus goers feel it’s more important that President Obama be defeated in 2012 than for a candidate they agree with to take office.

The poll, commissioned by The Iowa Republican, a conservative news site, telephoned 500 likely caucus goers last week. The poll has a margin of error of ± 4.4 percent.

A new statewide Iowa Caucus poll recently commissioned by TheIowaRepublican.com shows that likely Republican caucus goers are interested in one thing above all else–defeating President Obama in November of 2012.

By a two to one margin, the need to beat President Obama trumps ideological purity.

Blog author's comments - There cannot be any disagreement among GOP voters that Obama must be defeated. The question is, how - with an actual conservative, or a RINO? I would of course prefer a conservative, but would settle for any winner of the Republican Party if they dethroned Obama.

The Presidency is of upmost importance, but legislation gets passed in the House and the Senate. The GOP needs to maintain control of the House and hopefully win control of the Senate. Also, I think the Republicans should pay attention to the appeal of the Tea Parties who I believe played a large roll in the outcome of the midterm elections.

Sarah Palin at the Wisconsin Tea Party Rally

Palin Wows Wisconsin Tea Partiers With Blistering Speech

View Sarah Palin speech here.

I have seen some of the videos showing the anti-Tea Party and Palin protesters at the Wisconsin rally and they were predictable.

I can't believe that what the union goons did in Wisconsin over the past month has helped their cause, and hopefully it will come back to hurt the Dems in 2012.

If anything, it showed the voters where many of their tax dollars are going and the disparity between many private sector and public sector workers and those employees who are protected by unions.

Blog author's comments - Sarah Palin: “That’s right. We’re here. We’re clear. Get used to it.”

I like Sarah Palin and thought she gave a good speech. Not many people could withstand the onslaught which has been heaped upon her since 2008. It's unprecedented, and anyone paying attention to the MSM and the liberals and progressives who continue to back Obama should understand what the GOP is against in the fight for a win in 2012.

The non-defense of Palin by the Republican establishment does not surprise me. If by chance she would win the GOP nomination, I am still not confident she can defeat Obama. I believe for now, she has found her niche as a conservative with what she is currently doing by promoting the Tea Party movement and the Republican Party.

I must say they haven't shut up Sarah Palin. Despite all the left's attacks, she's still out there fighting. She defended Gov. Walker, took it to the GOP and hammered Obama. How many other members of the Republican Party do we ever see do this?

Rush Limbaugh - Interview With Donald Trump

Trump on Obama: Obama is a terrible president, the only thing he does well is campaign. He doesn't have the capability to be a great president, and the world is laughing. We're like a joke. The Obama administration is incompetent.

Blog author's comments - Donald Trump is a bright person and very successful business man with a large network of contacts. He is saying what many voters are eager to hear.

At this time I don't know enough about his background to say he is the conservative we want in the White House.

If he decides to run and we believe the polls, he seems to have a better chance of winning than any of the other names that have been bantered about thus far as possible GOP candidates for 2012.

If he won the nomination and would pick Allen West as his VP running mate, I think they would be a formidable pair. I would have some confidence that they could defeat Obama.

I am sold on West but still unsure about Trump. I would take the chance on Trump/West than see Obama win a second term.

The Campaign To Defeat Obama

Obama's Legacy of Failure (video)

political ticker -- An independent conservative group says it's going up in some battleground states with a television commercial that's critical of President Barack Obama, one of the first of what could be many ads by similar groups on the right.

The spot, titled "Barack Obama's Legacy of Failure," is being put out by The Campaign to Defeat Barack Obama – a group dedicated to trying to beat the president in the 2012 election.

Joe Wierzbecki, the executive director of the organization, tells CNN that the ad began running this weekend on television stations in Nevada, with ad time being purchased in Michigan and Wisconsin. Wierzbecki says his plan is to eventually also run the commercial in Colorado, Missouri and Ohio. All of these states could be extremely contested in the upcoming battle for the White House. -- Entire column > >
Blog author's comments - This conservative group does not lack material for more ads. What's disturbing beyond Obama's failures is the unshakable support of Obama by so many of his followers who accept whatever he says and does.

If I voice my disagreement against his agenda, policies and that he wants to remake America into the socialist country he feels it should be -- I am labeled a racist.

The GOP members of the House of Representatives should be applying as much pressure on the Obama Administration as they can. They have to show the voters that they are serious about stopping the out of control spending. They did not do that last week.

The only way to begin to turn the economy in a positive direction and attempt to get out from under the mountain of debt he has created is to defeat Obama in 2012.

GOP Takes Aim at Obama's Reelection Effort

GOP Launches Mock 'Obama 2012' Ad

The Hill -- The ad, which features Obama riding a unicorn over a rainbow, declares: "Four more years: America needs more changing."

Republicans are taking aim at President Obama's impending reelection effort with a mock campaign ad outlining his first two years in office.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) posted a fake "Obama 2012" ad, ribbing the president for divisiveness, his energy policy, budget deficits and engaging in the occasional extracurricular activity, such as golfing or filling out NCAA brackets on television.

"Four more years: America needs more changing," the spot says at the end, featuring a cartoon of Obama riding a unicorn over the rainbow.

The mocking ad comes shortly before Obama is expected to formally launch his own reelection effort.

Blog author's comments - Let's hope the Republicans have much more of this coming, they have only scratched the surface. There is no shortage of material for ads after his first two years in office.

They could do a two hour show with all of the ammunition they have. Let’s hope the GOP displays some fight and goes after our Fraud/Liar-In-Chief like they should.

There are still many people who believe Obama has done and is doing a good job as President. They are suffering from the mental ravages of liberalism.

The GOP needs the turnout and big win for the 2012 election which occurred for the midterm election. The country cannot withstand Obama as a two term President.

Allen West - Possible VP Nominee For 2012

Allen West not ruling out VP bid:
'I'm always willing to serve my country'

The Hill - Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) is not closing the door to being considered for the vice presidential spot, despite only having served in Congress for less than three months.

Speculation over West was sparked Friday when former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.), who is considering a presidential bid, said that a number of Florida GOP politicians would do well as vice president, including West.

When asked about Gingrich's comments by WPTV, West asked, "He said that?"

"I have to pray about it and I have to clear it with my wife and two daughters," he added. "I never thought that seven years ago when I retired here I'd be a United States congressman, and that I'd be standing in front of your news camera. So we don't know what the future holds, but I'm always willing to serve my country."

West, 50, is one of two black Republicans elected to Congress in the 2010 midterm elections, which saw the GOP take control of the House with the backing of Tea Party activists. Florida has never had a candidate on a national ticket, according to WPTV.

To become vice president, West would need to be chosen by the Republican Party's presidential nominee after a thorough vetting process.

During his short time in Washington, West has garnered significant media attention for his staunchly conservative views on policy and his tough talk.

West, a decorated lieutenant colonel, served in the Iraq war but was the subject of an investigation into his behavior during an interrogation of an Iraqi police officer, and subsequently retired.

Blog author's comments - I would be comfortable with Congressman Allen West as the VP nominee of the Republican Party in 2012.

Allen West is an honorable person, who has already shown how much he cares for America and the Constitution. I believe he is the man we have been waiting for and need. He could very well help push the Presidential nominee, whomever that may be, over the finish line to victory.

The problem is we must soon find the party's nominee for President. I would be confident with Chris Christie but he must be convinced to run. 2016 may be too late. The GOP must win in 2012!

I have much respect for West as the links to a few of my previous blog posts about him (below) have shown. West is a solid family man who has served his country well in combat is an intelligent speaker and a natural leader.

West, a lieutenant colonel, served in Operation Desert Storm and the Iraq war. He also worked in Afghanistan as an advisor for the Department of Defense.

He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Tennessee and his master's degree in political science from Kansas State University. He also earned a master of military arts and sciences degree from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff Officer College in political theory and military history and operations.

I believe Christie and West are now ready to address the mess this country is in. We desperately need leadership, both for our country and U.S. representation abroad. We need a team who can bring America back from the edge of doom and I believe they are up to the task.

We shall see if Allen West is selected to run as the VP candidate of the GOP in 2012. Over the past few months he has talked about the political opportunism of the left and has addressed fiscal responsibility which the country is now lacking.

I thought he brought down the house with the speech he gave at CPAC and most recently he showed everyone he is a fighter and leader when he did not back down when confronted by a CAIR executive at a town hall meeting in Florida.
