The poll, commissioned by The Iowa Republican, a conservative news site, telephoned 500 likely caucus goers last week. The poll has a margin of error of ± 4.4 percent.
A new statewide Iowa Caucus poll recently commissioned by TheIowaRepublican.com shows that likely Republican caucus goers are interested in one thing above all else–defeating President Obama in November of 2012.

There cannot be any disagreement among GOP voters that Obama must be defeated. The question is, how - with an actual conservative, or a RINO? I would of course prefer a conservative, but would settle for any winner of the Republican Party if they dethroned Obama.
The Presidency is of upmost importance, but legislation gets passed in the House and the Senate. The GOP needs to maintain control of the House and hopefully win control of the Senate. Also, I think the Republicans should pay attention to the appeal of the Tea Parties who I believe played a large roll in the outcome of the midterm elections.
