Poll Shock: Majority of Americans Now
Favor This Since Biden Took Office...

Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report shares poll numbers that reflect how much Joe Biden’s approval ratings have begun to affect how people feel about their government. Gallup released poll results that show the public has reversed course and now a majority of Americans think that the government should have a more limited role in trying to fix America’s problems. It was only last year that a majority of Americans had more faith in government and high levels of trust in government to tackle more of the nation’s problems.

Normal people just want to be left alone. The government should have an extremely limited role in our lives and have very little power to act in any way that would interfere with our lives. The government never needs more control, if you give them control over a temporary issue they won't give it up when it's over. Federal government was always supposed to be more limited. This is what President Trump wanted all along, smaller government that doesn't have its hands, and horrible spending habits, in everything. The only purpose of government that is ethical, is the protection of individual rights.

Poll: Jake Tapper One Of The Most
Distrusted "Reporters" In America

John Nolte says he's the very most distrusted "journalist," but that's somewhat debatable.

Here's his thinking:
A Morning Consult poll shows CNN's Jake Tapper is the most mistrusted journalist in America.

The poll surveyed 2,206 adults, has a margin of error of plus or minus two percent, and asked a number of questions about the news media in general and 50 specific American media personalities specifically.

When asked "How much do you trust the following" media personality, 35 percent said of Tapper "not much" or "not at all." This high level of mistrust for Tapper placed the left-wing CNN anchor in tenth place on a list of the most mistrusted media personalities.
What is notable, though, is that Tapper is the only so-called "journalist" on that top ten list.

I think Nolte means "reporter." "Journalist" is a more expansive term, and includes things like opinion writers.

The others are people like Rachel Maddow, Sean Hannity, Mika Brzezinski, and other pundits/partisan commentators.

The only other two people who could be argued to be "reporters" (at least they'd argue this) are Don Lemon and Shepard Smith, who are also in the top ten most distrusted.

So, depending on how you categorize these people, Jake Tapper is either the most distrusted, second most distrusted, or third most distrusted "reporter" in America, narrowly losing to only Shepard Smith and/or Don Lemon.

Blog Author's Comments: What is noteworthy though, is that Tapper is only one of so many liberal biased and misleading, opinion pushers on that top ten list. By reporter, I suppose he means someone who is reading Leftist propaganda. I would think most "journalists" would consider being on a "most distrusted" list as somewhat synonymous with "well known."

So they would consider it a cause to celebrate, a real accomplishment. The greatest threat to American journalism is, the loss of neutral reporting. But, I don't watch or listen to these talking heads. Get them out of your life now for your mental heath. American "journalism" is a disgrace, period.

Poll: Red-State Voters Want Their
Democrat Senators To Confirm Kavanaugh

Constituents of four red-state Democrats in the Senate want to see Judge Brett Kavanaugh confirmed to the Supreme Court, according to a new poll.

The poll, administered by North Star Opinion Research on behalf of the Judicial Crisis Network, surveyed voters in Alabama, Indiana, North Dakota, and West Virginia, all states with incumbent Democratic senators which also voted for President Donald Trump in the 2016 election. Three of those Senators—Joe Donnelly (Ind.), Heidi Heitkamp (N.D.), and Joe Manchin (W. Va.) are up for reelection in November.

Blog Author's Comments: The Democrat senator's conundrum, do what the overwhelming number of my constituents want me to do, thus helping my re-election or do what Chuck Schumer would like me to do, ensuring my committee assignments and invitations to all the good parties in DC, such distress and anguish. But, we are talking about politicians, so one never knows what pushes them to do what they do.

It just might be that Mitch McConnell has had enough of Democrat/leftist tactics after he was accosted by protestors and will seriously push Brett Kavanaugh for a vote prior to the midterm elections. Three of those Senators—Joe Donnelly (Ind.), Heidi Heitkamp (N.D.), and Joe Manchin (W. Va.) are up for reelection in November. I guess we can count on all three during a Kavanaugh vote. I have to assume these Democrats care more about their seats in D.C. than doing what Pelosi or Schumer says.

Democrat Senate Hopes Sinking Fast Thanks To Obama

Breitbart -- According to a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll, the growing unpopularity of Barack Obama and concern for the nation's future are crushing any hope Democrats may have had to hold onto the Senate in November's midterm elections.

The poll "found a larger share of Americans think the country is on the wrong track than at any previous midterm election in the past 20 years. Mr. Obama's approval rating—40%—is lower than that of former presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton at this stage of their own midterm meltdowns in 2006 and 1994, when both suffered significant losses in Congress".

Republicans are polling better than Democrats on a host of issues including the key areas such as the economy and immigration.

"The news is not good for Democrats," said Democratic pollster Fred Yang, who conducts the Journal poll with Republican Bill McInturff. "It's hard to sugarcoat these findings, which herald a tough election."

One data point from the poll has 54% of voters trusting the GOP on national defense, while only 16% of voters trust the Democrats.

As world events overtake domestic political fights, Mr. Obama's stature on that front continues to slump. He hit a new low in how Americans view his handling of foreign policy, with 32% approving and 62% disapproving. The biggest drop-off occurred among women and fellow Democrats.

The poll, which was conducted Sept. 3-7, overlapped with news that members of the Islamic State beheaded a second American journalist. The poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.
Blog author's comments - This is simply another poll. I am not yet convinced the Republican Party will win the Senate. There are only a few conservatives among their ranks who I think have done the right things to win. The GOP, if they win the Senate and maintain control of the House in 2014 is winning the battle but, getting a Republican in as president in 2016 is winning the war.

Between '14 and '16 if the RINO's and Republican establishment do not work with the conservatives they won't have a chance in 2016. We still have too many of the 'old guard' in the Republican Party who dominate Party policy and want to continue what they have been doing for years. Until this stops it will be politics as usual within the GOP.

Poll: 71% of Obama Voters, 55% Democrats
Now 'Regret' Voting For His Re-Election

Washington Examiner -- Over seven in 10 Obama voters, and 55 percent of Democrats, regret voting for President Obama’s reelection in 2012, according to a new Economist/YouGov.com poll.

Conducted to test the media hype about a comeback by 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney the new poll found voters still uninspired by Romney, but also deeply dissatisfied with Obama who has so far failed to capitalize on his victory over 15 months ago.

The poll asked those who voted for Obama's reelection a simple question: “Do you regret voting for Barack Obama?”

— Overall, 71 percent said yes, 26 percent no.

— 80 percent of whites said yes, 61 percent of blacks said no and 100 percent of Hispanics said yes.

— 84 percent of women said yes, and just 61 percent of men agreed.

— 55 percent of Democrats said yes, as did 71 percent of independents.[…]

Said the poll: “In YouGov research conducted from February 6th-7th, we went about it in a slightly different way, asking people who voted for Mitt Romney or Barack Obama whether they would do it again. We found an ostensibly similar picture: 90 percent of people who voted for Romney would do it again, compared to only 79 percent of Obama voters who would.
Blog author’s comments – It has taken these people this long to realize and now regret what Obama has done and is doing to the country? Hopefully the spell is actually breaking, but now we all pay for those who voted for Obama, who took complete advantage of those who trusted him the most.

We will see how many of these voters attempt to repair just a small amount of the damage by voting against all of the Democrats in the 2014 elections. If the voters couldn't tell in Obama's first four years who and what he was, they cannot be trusted. Many of these same people will vote for Hillary Clinton if she runs and wins the Democratic nomination for the election in 2016.

Rasmussen Poll - Generic Congressional Ballot

Generic Congressional Ballot: Republicans 48%, Democrats 39%

rasmussen reports - Election Day is just two weeks away, and Republican candidates hold a nine-point lead over Democrats on the Generic Congressional Ballot for the week ending Sunday, October 17, 2010.

Forty-eight percent (48%) of respondents say they would vote for their district’s Republican congressional candidate, while 39% would opt for his or her Democratic opponent.

Even more worrisome for Democrats, however, is the finding that among the voters who are most closely following the midterm elections Republicans hold a 55% to 36% lead.

While the margin has varied somewhat from week-to-week, Republicans have been consistently ahead on the Generic Ballot for over a year, and their lead has run as high as 12 points and as low as three points. When Barack Obama first took office as president of the United States, the Democrats enjoyed a seven-point lead on the Generic Ballot.

Among voters not affiliated with either major party, Republicans hold a 17-point lead.

The Republican advantage comes from a number of factors. One is the fact that midterm elections typically feature an older electorate with a smaller share of minority voters. Additionally, in 2010, there is clearly an enthusiasm gap favoring the GOP.

The Generic Ballot results were much different during the last two election cycles when Democrats regularly had large leads. The two parties were very close through the spring of 2009, but in June, around the time Democrats began their campaign for health care reform, Republicans pulled ahead for good. - Read more > > >
Blog author's comments - Hopefully the polls are correct and the GOP can take back the House and make huge gains or possibly take the Senate.

The Democrats will be using everything in their 'war chest' in an attempt to save as many liberal seats as possible. So, don't think that a big win for the GOP is in the bag.

The election in two weeks is crucial for the GOP. I have mentioned many times, the GOP must win big in November. They need the power to stop Obama's agenda and to ramp up for 2012.

I believe that many 'lawmakers' within the GOP ranks will gain from this election, but they have not bought in to the Tea Party movement. I don't think they take it seriously but it is a force in this country.

If the Republicans control the house, compromise with the Democrats is unacceptable. Obama gets nothing. Do you ever see the Democrats compromise on anything?
