Wow - The Bloom Is Really Off The Ruse...

When I watched this earlier today I noticed something was odd; the background sound and the responses from the visible audience don’t align with the visual as presented.

Watch. When President Obama is speaking there’s almost no visible reaction; but something more… LISTEN ! There’s almost no audible audience response… it just seems weird.

The media have always covered for the Manchurian lightbringer, so we knew something was off when we first watched the Obama presentation. Thanks to twitter video we now know what that something was: There was almost no-one there!

It’s the Obama Potemkin village again; only this time in Nevada.

Blog Author's Comments: More lies from the worst president in modern history. What else should and would we expect from him. Concerning deliberate false statements, Obama says lying is what the Republicans are doing, but anyone who has paid attention to what he has said and done during the past 10 years, does know better. He just cannot help himself, this has been his life. Most of what he has achieved in life has been helped by his lying. Obama would take credit for the Civil War if he knew what it was about.

On his way out of office Barack Hussein Obama said President Trump would continue the downward spiral of the economy. That, ladies and gentleman has obviously not happened. The Obama legacy will be that he was a racist who hates America. Obama also stated, the jobs are gone and never coming back. Obama needs to go away and never come back, because he did nothing beneficial for our economy. The only economy that Obama helped is the Iranian GDP after sending them those pallets of money. The ex-President, after 8 years of blaming Bush for all of his problems, now wants to take credit for what President Trump has accomplished.

If the huge crowds the President is drawing for the support he is giving the GOP candidates, has any bearing on how the Republican voters will support these people, that certainly bodes well for the Republican Party and President Trump, for the upcoming mid-term elections.

Democrat Senate Hopes Sinking Fast Thanks To Obama

Breitbart -- According to a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll, the growing unpopularity of Barack Obama and concern for the nation's future are crushing any hope Democrats may have had to hold onto the Senate in November's midterm elections.

The poll "found a larger share of Americans think the country is on the wrong track than at any previous midterm election in the past 20 years. Mr. Obama's approval rating—40%—is lower than that of former presidents George W. Bush and Bill Clinton at this stage of their own midterm meltdowns in 2006 and 1994, when both suffered significant losses in Congress".

Republicans are polling better than Democrats on a host of issues including the key areas such as the economy and immigration.

"The news is not good for Democrats," said Democratic pollster Fred Yang, who conducts the Journal poll with Republican Bill McInturff. "It's hard to sugarcoat these findings, which herald a tough election."

One data point from the poll has 54% of voters trusting the GOP on national defense, while only 16% of voters trust the Democrats.

As world events overtake domestic political fights, Mr. Obama's stature on that front continues to slump. He hit a new low in how Americans view his handling of foreign policy, with 32% approving and 62% disapproving. The biggest drop-off occurred among women and fellow Democrats.

The poll, which was conducted Sept. 3-7, overlapped with news that members of the Islamic State beheaded a second American journalist. The poll had a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.
Blog author's comments - This is simply another poll. I am not yet convinced the Republican Party will win the Senate. There are only a few conservatives among their ranks who I think have done the right things to win. The GOP, if they win the Senate and maintain control of the House in 2014 is winning the battle but, getting a Republican in as president in 2016 is winning the war.

Between '14 and '16 if the RINO's and Republican establishment do not work with the conservatives they won't have a chance in 2016. We still have too many of the 'old guard' in the Republican Party who dominate Party policy and want to continue what they have been doing for years. Until this stops it will be politics as usual within the GOP.

Democrat Senator Defends The Koch Brothers From Harry Reid's Attacks

Politico -- Sen. Joe Manchin on Thursday strongly defended the Koch brothers from attacks by fellow Democrats, saying the wealthy and politically active businessmen are taxpaying Americans who are creating jobs

. “People want jobs. You don’t beat up people. I mean, I don’t agree with their politics or philosophically, but, you know, they’re Americans, they’re doing— paying their taxes,” Manchin said on Fox News’s “Fox & Friends.”

“They’re not breaking the law. They’re providing jobs,” he added.

When asked whether Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s attacks on the Koch brothers “helps or hurts the cause for the country and the Congress,” the West Virginia senator said it’s people in the middle that need to be reached.

“If you’re trying to rally the base, the bases have already been rallied. The right and left bases have been rallied,” Manchin said. “It’s us in the middle that have to start making something happen here in Washington to move this country forward.”

Manchin, who also served as governor of West Virginia, said harsh rhetoric from either side does little to help the country.

“Right, wrong or indifferent, whether you like the politicians, or not. There’s people who don’t like the extreme Democrat politics or extreme Republican politics, we got to start being Americans again,” the senator said.

A spokesman for Koch Industries said Manchin’s comments likely reflect what others, on both side of the aisle, are thinking and that “it’s about time” somebody spoke out.

“My guess is that Sen. Manchin has expressed a point of view that a lot other senators — Democrats, Republicans — have probably wanted to say and haven’t,” Steve Lombardo said.

A request for comment from Reid’s office was not immediately returned.
Blog author's comments - The reason Harry Reid and others members of the Obama administration are trashing the Koch brothers is that they are afraid of losing the Senate and the Koch brothers are supportive of the Republican Party and use their money to help the GOP.

As Senator Harry Reid angrily rants and raves about the Koch Brothers, much of America is bored from having heard this performance too many times. Sen. Manchin offered some much needed sanity with his comments as opposed to Reid. And it’s time that Democrats take a good, hard look at what has become of their agenda for the midterm elections. Rather than focusing on solutions for the country the dominant talking points in 2014 for the left concerns blaming others, covering up scandals and slandering GOP donors. But Reid never mentions the large amounts of money the Democrats have received from liberal George Soros for years.

Reid could not handle losing his job as the leader of the Democrat controlled Senate. And if the GOP should win control of the Senate and maintain control of the House Obama would be a lame duck president his last two years in office. So Reid will do and say whatever he feels is necessary hoping that the low-information voters will believe him and remember what he said when they go to the polls in this year's midterm elections.

New Obamacare Delay To Help Midterm Democrats

The Hill -- The Obama administration is set to announce another major delay in implementing the Affordable Care Act, easing election pressure on Democrats.

As early as this week, according to two sources, the White House will announce a new directive allowing insurers to continue offering health plans that do not meet ObamaCare’s minimum coverage requirements.

Prolonging the “keep your plan” fix will avoid another wave of health policy cancellations otherwise expected this fall.

The cancellations would have created a firestorm for Democratic candidates in the last, crucial weeks before Election Day.

The White House is intent on protecting its allies in the Senate, where Democrats face a battle to keep control of the chamber.

“I don’t see how they could have a bunch of these announcements going out in September,” one consultant in the health insurance industry said. “Not when they’re trying to defend the Senate and keep their losses at a minimum in the House. This is not something to have out there right before the election.”

The White House and the Department of Health and Human Services on Monday both said they had no updates to announce.
Blog author’s comments – There was no effort whatsoever to alleviate the damage done by 0bamacare until Obama and his administration realized how much this threatened the Democrat politicians who are up for reelection in November. The catalyst was not damage done to American families, the catalyst was Democrat political careers, and then action was required to save Democrat jobs. Obama does not care how his law affects the people.

The insurance companies must be tired of Obama’s delay game. They have already made the changes that were mandated by the 'law', they can't just stop and change direction based on the political timetable of Obama and his administration who are attempting to hold on to the Senate. Obama has finally realized that if the Obamacare ‘law’ is not delayed he could very well be a lame duck president his last two years in office. All of the delays to the Obamacare 'law' have been about politics and the 2014 midterm elections.

Pelosi's Play For Women In Midterm Elections

Politico -- House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is trying to make the midterm elections all about women.

Armed with Democratic polling, the California Democrat has for months been touting a “women’s economic agenda” in more than two dozen events across the country, with more planned soon.

The agenda is “good politics if it changes the minds [of] our colleagues,” Pelosi told POLITICO in an interview. “What are elections about? To raise the awareness of issues.”

The strategy is aimed squarely at a demographic Democrats need to win: women — especially single women who tend to vote for them, and who often stay home during midterm elections. Getting women to the ballot box in higher numbers may be the only hope for Pelosi, who last wielded the speaker’s gavel in 2010, and who most political observers believe is a long shot — at the very best — in 2014 to reclaim it.

In a bid to win the House majority and retain the Senate, national Democrats seem intent on remaking the midterm electorate to resemble the one that came out to support President Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012. Traditionally, turnout in midterm elections has declined steeply.

Observers say it’s an uphill slog for congressional Democrats, who would need to reverse a historical trend going back to 1832 — Andrew Jackson was president — as the last time the midterms saw more voters than a presidential contest.

“History is against them,” said Michael McDonald, associate professor of government and politics at George Mason University who has studied turnout trends. “You can never say never… but I think the evidence is still against the Democrats on this.”

There’s no question the Democratic agenda is an extension of the “war on women” narrative that Democrats have been using to slam Republicans, quite effectively, in recent elections. But now, it’s been broadened to include economic issues that Democrats argue Republicans have been ignoring.[...]

Republicans, for their part, aren’t convinced the tactics being employed by Pelosi or other Democratic leaders will have any benefit come Election Day. GOP leaders look at the polling on Obamacare, as well as Obama’s own weakness on economic issues, and the traditional “six-year itch” facing incumbent presidents, and they see a big opportunity to expand their majority.

“This is clearly a defensive maneuver by Democrats since they are losing support from women who are feeling firsthand the devastating effects of Obamacare,” said Liesl Hickey, executive director of the National Republican Congressional Committee.

Entire column...
Blog author's comments - Pelosi may try to make the midterm elections about the "war on women" but, I would hope that the voters now know what the impact of Obamacare is doing and will continue to do to the cost and quality of healthcare, and will not be swayed by the many ploys the Democrats will try from now until the 2014 midterms. The GOP has to keep Obama's economic agenda and his lies, and the many damaging and unconstitutional changes he is making to his signature piece of legislation, Obamacare, in the forefront, so they can hold the House and quite possibly win control of the Senate.

Pelosi: Obamacare Will Be 'Glorious'

Washington Times -- House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Monday defended Obamacare amid fellow Democrats’ concerns, saying that while the politics may be tricky right now, eventually having voted for the health care law will be a boon.

“We’ll ride this out,” the California Democrat said on a conference call with reporters.

Some Democrats, particularly in the Senate, are worried about facing voters having backed the health law, which has seen a rocky rollout and is costing millions of Americans their health plans — even as it is aided millions of others to sign up or get on their parents’ plans.

“It’s worth the trouble, it’s going to be a glorious thing,” Mrs. Pelosi said.

Still, she said when it comes to voters, she believes they will not have the health law at the front of their minds when they head to the polls less than a year from now for midterm congressional elections.

She signaled that Democrats are likely to reprise the income inequality message President Obama used successfully against GOP nominee Mitt Romney last year.
Blog author's comments - Coming from Pelosi what else would you expect her to say? She and Obama will never give up on Obamacare no matter how much harm it does to so many Americans. All one can do is shake their head in disgust at this ridiculous woman.

"Still, she said when it comes to voters, she believes they will not have the health law at the front of their minds when they head to the polls less than a year from now for midterm congressional elections." The Democrats in the Senate who are up for reelection certainly hope they don't. It's not just that Obamacare isn't going well. It's that Obama has been exposed as a liar.
