President Trump Orders Navy To:
'Shoot and Destroy' Iranian Gunboats 'Harassing' US Warships

Blog Author's Input: This attitude of a leader is why I like the President, that is a perfectly good order to give. All that money Obama and Biden gave to Iran, should have made them a bit more grateful. And, will the liberals ever take the side of their own country?

To those that say Trump is 'picking a fight', remove your head from under the sand and face reality. I have noticed a lot of comments disparaging Trump's ultimatum, personally I agree with him. They have been warned, now it's up to them how they proceed. He cannot be any more fair than that, they at least know what to expect.

Iran Calls Trump Condemnation Of Ballistic
Missle Test "Baseless And Provacative"

Yahoo News -- Tehran (AFP) – Iran on Thursday rejected a warning from President Donald Trump over its latest missile test as unfounded and “provocative”, reflecting growing tensions between Tehran and the new US administration.

Trump is a strident critic of the Islamic republic and a vocal opponent of an international deal that saw Iran curb its nuclear program in return for sanctions relief.

He said on Thursday that Tehran was now officially “on notice” after Sunday’s missile test.

“Iran has been formally PUT ON NOTICE for firing a ballistic missile. Should have been thankful for the terrible deal the U.S. made with them!” Trump tweeted, echoing similar comments by National Security Advisor Michael Flynn a day earlier.

Flynn insisted that the missile test was “in defiance of UN Security Council Resolution 2231,” which calls on Iran not to test missiles capable of delivering a nuclear weapon.

The remarks drew an angry response from Tehran.

“Claims made by US President Donald Trump’s National Security Advisor are baseless, repetitive and provocative,” Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Bahram Ghasemi said, quoted by state news agency IRNA.

Iran has confirmed that it tested a ballistic missile, but denied that it violated the terms of the nuclear deal.
Blog Author's Comments: Iran is saber rattling. They are testing the waters to see what Trump will do. This is a clear provocation to test the new President. I think they will regret their underestimation. And the leftists in our government and media are emboldening our enemies with their 24/7 war on Trump. They are the ones being used as a recruitment tool for terrorists. Maybe taking out the nuclear facilities in Iran will shut them up for a while. Oh wait, no it won't, it will just give them something else to whine about. President Trump tweeted: Iran is playing with fire - they don't appreciate how "kind" President Obama was to them. Not me!

Obama Brushes Off Israeli Pressure Over Iran

Washington AFP -- President Barack Obama likened Israeli pressure on him to draw a line in the sand over Iran's nuclear ambitions as noise he tries to ignore, according to remarks aired Sunday.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently urged the United States to establish what he called a "red line" regarding Tehran's nuclear program beyond which the United States would be compelled to act.

Iran insists its uranium-enrichment activities are for civilian energy-producing purposes, but the West fears it is for building nuclear weapons.

Israel is seen as pushing a much more hardline approach that would include military action, while Washington instead prefers to let diplomacy and sanctions dissuade Iran from building the bomb.

Obama, interviewed for Sunday's edition of "60 Minutes" on broadcaster CBS, said he understands and agrees with Netanyahu's insistence that Iran not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons as this would threaten both countries, the world in general, and kick off an arms race.

But Obama added: "When it comes to our national security decisions -- any pressure that I feel is simply to do what's right for the American people. And I am going to block out -- any noise that's out there."

Tensions have been running high between the United States and Israeli leader, and they will not hold a face-to-face meeting this week at the UN General Assembly in New York. The White House has cited scheduling problems.

Obama's contender for the presidency, Republican Mitt Romney, said this was no way to treat an ally.

The decision not to meet with Netanyahu, he said, also in an interview with "60 minutes", "is a mistake and sends a message throughout the Middle East that somehow we distance ourselves from our friends and I think the exact opposite approach is what's necessary."

Blog author's comments - "President Barack Obama likened Israeli pressure on him to draw a line in the sand over Iran's nuclear ambitions as noise he tries to ignore." I assume that Obama is basing his estimates on when Iran will have its first nuclear weapon off of reports from the same intelligence agencies that thought the security arrangements in Cairo and Benghazi were okay.

"Washington instead prefers to let diplomacy and sanctions dissuade Iran from building the bomb." If this is their tactic why aren't they using tougher sanctions against Iran? I don't believe he wants any change at all in the status quo with Iran because of the coming election. He wants things to remain the same and is more than willing to ignore everything that tells him otherwise and relegate it to the "noise" category.

Also, Barack Obama pushed to oust the dictators in both Libya and Egypt and the Muslim Brotherhood is on the rise, how has that helped the U.S. and Israel?

Ted Turner - If U.S. and Israel Disarm it Will Prevent a Nuclear Iran

[Drag Cursor In Black Area If Video Does Not Load]

Ted Turner: U.S. and Israel Should Disarm to Prevent Nuclear Iran

News Busters -- Appearing as a guest on Thursday's Piers Morgan Tonight on CNN, the news network's founder, Ted Turner, complained that a double standard exists between the U.S. and Israel being allowed to possess nuclear weapons while Iran is expected to be nuclear-free, as he suggested that all countries dispose of their nuclear arsenals to persuade Iran not to build such weapons.

Well, first of all, I believe in total nuclear disarmament. That's the only way we're ever going to get there. We all got to play by the same set of rules. We have 2,000 or several thousand nuclear weapons. Iran has none at the current time. It's okay for Israel to have 100, but it's not okay for Iran to have two. That's, that's, you're not treating everybody equally.

I think we've already voted at the U.N. and the Security Council to get rid of nuclear weapons. Let's get rid of them. Let's get rid of ours, and then Iran will stop, I believe, and everybody else will because if everybody doesn't have them, then we're safe - at least safe from a nuclear attack.

Blog author's comments - Turner did not mention that Iran's President has said many times they want to destroy Israel. Yes, Ted….and we should all turn in our guns to prevent killings and robberies by the bad guys!

Japan bombed Pearl Harbor and now they are our friends...what happened in between? We bombed them with atomic bombs twice. No wonder they are so friendly now.

Immense wealth isn’t necessarily an indication of intelligence and common sense. Remember, he did marry Jane Fonda, so how smart can he be? Also -- good luck with the disarming of Pakistan, India, Russia and China of their nukes.

And why does everything have to be based on being “equal”? Real life is not equal. Is anyone going to tell him that if we were completely disarmed of our nuclear weapons, we would be bombed and taken over by other countries?

Obama - Only Concerned About 2012 Election

US offered Israel advanced weaponry
in exchange for delaying Iran attack

NY Post -- WASHINGTON-The US offered to give Israel advanced weaponry, including bunker-busting bombs and refueling planes, in exchange for Israel's agreement not to attack Iranian nuclear sites, Israeli newspaper Maariv reported Thursday.

President Obama reportedly made the offer during Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit to Washington this week.

Under the proposed deal, Israel would not attack Iran until 2013, after US elections in November this year. The newspaper cited unnamed Western diplomatic and intelligence sources.

Netanyahu said Monday that sanctions against Iran had not worked, adding that "none of us can afford to wait much longer" in taking action against Iran's controversial nuclear program. Entire column...

Blog author's comments - Israel will do what needs to be done to protect its citizens and sovereignty.

They should have the advanced weaponry but, tying this to an extended political time frame that may not be feasible for Israel makes no sense, except to Obama. He only cares about one thing, a second term as president.

Netanyahu - Israel Is The Master Of Its Fate

Netanyahu To Obama: Israel
'Reserves The Right' To Strike

Washington Free Beacon -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told President Obama that Israel would decide for itself whether to strike Iran.

“My supreme responsibility as prime minister of Israel is to ensure that Israel remains the master of its fate,” Netanyahu told Obama.

In a sit-down earlier today with the president in the Oval Office, Netanyahu pushed back against the administration’s repeated attempts to dissuade Israel from attacking Iran.

“Israel must reserve the right to defend itself and after all, that’s the very purpose of the Jewish state to, restore to the Jewish people control of our destiny,” said Netanyahu, who is meeting with the president in advance of his speech later today before the American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s annual policy conference.

Israel reserves the right to strike Iran if need be, Netanyahu said.

The administration has also been pressuring Israel to hold off on an attack against Iran’s nuclear sites, arguing that economic sanctions require time to take hold. Keep reading...

Blog author's comments - Benjamin Netanyahu, of course will do what he must to protect his country. He has no illusions about who he is dealing with here and in Iran.

Ron Paul - Sanctions On Iran An Act Of War

Ron Paul: Sanctions against Iran are 'acts of war'

LA Times - Reporting from Perry, Iowa -- Defending himself against charges of isolationism, Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul told voters in Iowa on Thursday that western sanctions against Iran are "acts of war" that are likely to lead to an actual war in the Middle East.

Paul, one of the leading contenders to win next week's Iowa caucuses, said Iran would be justified in responding to the sanctions by blocking the flow of oil through the Strait of Hormuz. He compared the western sanctions to a hypothetical move by China to block the Gulf of Mexico, which Americans would consider an act of war.

He also said he would not respond militarily to keep the strait open—because he would not consider it an act of war against the U.S. But if he were president, he would report to Congress on the issue, leaving it up to lawmakers to declare war if they wanted.

"I think we're looking for trouble because we put these horrendous sanctions on Iran," Paul told a midday audience at the Hotel Pattee in Perry, Iowa. He said the Iranians are "planning to be bombed" and understandably would like to have a nuclear weapon, even though there is "no evidence whatsoever" that they have "enriched" uranium.

Apparently alluding to Israel and its nuclear-weapons arsenal, Paul said that "if I were an Iranian, I'd like to have a nuclear weapon, too, because you gain respect from them."

Blog author's comments - If this doesn’t slow up his supporters, nothing will. So letting Iran obtain nuclear weapons will stabilize the Middle East? They hate Israel and have repeatedly stated their intention to wipe them off the map.

It is difficult to accept that Ron Paul is one of the front-runners for the Iowa caucus. I can't believe there is any chance of him winning the nomination.

Ron Paul wants to legalize drugs, repeal the Patriot Act, cut our military spending and he has also said flawed US policies led to 9/11. He would be a disaster as the Republican candidate. Obama would surely win a second term.
