On Saturday, December 17th, 2011, the President will travel to Honolulu, Hawaii. He will return to Washington, DC on Monday, January 2nd, 2012. ...
...no public events are scheduled during the trip... Blog author's comments - First lady Michelle Obama told a fundraiser in Southern California of the toll the presidency has taken on her husband Barack Obama.
"I see the sadness and worry that's creasing his face," she said to a crowd of about 500 at the Pasadena luncheon organized by the Southern California Women For Obama. She described his work ethic as “tireless,” according to pool reports.
"He reads every word, every memo, so he is better prepared than the people briefing him," she said. "This man doesn't take a day off."
First lady...give it a break. To quote Gov. Chris Christie speaking of Obama -- " what the hell are we paying you for?" "What have you been doing exactly?" He also described President Obama as a "bystander" in the White House.
Rush Limbaugh on the Greta Van Susteren show -- Barack Obama does not want to run against Sarah Palin.
He added that Governor Chris Christie, former Senator Santorum, and Governor Rick Perry also scare the White House. The Dems are hoping that a moderate or liberal Republican wins the primary.
Blog author's comments - The left and of course their mainstream media will do everything in their power to get the worst possible, most moderate Republican nominated, and ignore, marginalize, and/or attack the most conservative candidates. They attempt to do it every election.
What does Obama have to run on? He can't run on his record, what he has accomplished since he has been in office. Do the people want more of the same which is high unemployment, Obamacare, high gas prices, rising food prices and a housing market which is in the tank?
We need a few conservatives to enter the race for the nomination. We also need a conservative to win the election. It's time to stop what is now happening and put the country on track towards recovery.
Christie Lays the Smackdown on Schuymer, Tells Senator to 'Mind His Manners'
Fox News - A heavyweight political fight erupted across the Hudson yesterday when Sen. Charles Schuymer fired a salvo at New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie for killing an $8.7 billion rail tunnel under the river.
"I believe pulling the plug on the tunnel was a terrible, terrible decision," Schuymer said.
The rail tunnel project would have speeded up passenger service between Manhattan and the Garden State and reduced traffic, Schuymer said.
Christie's office fired back at Schuymer, accusing him of having tunnel vision for a "boondoggle" project that was a "bad deal" for Jersey, which would have been stuck with any cost overruns.
At a press conference in Newark to announce the approval of 23 new charter schools across New Jersey, Christie responded to Schuymer’s criticism by saying that New Jersey would not be able to afford any cost overruns on the project, noting that unless Schuymer was able to contribute another $5 billion dollars, he should "mind his manners on the other side of the Hudson River."

Blog author's comments - It does not happen often when a politician stands up, speaks out and will not back down to anyone especially a liberal believer in Obamanomics like little Chuckie Schuymer.
Christie holds true to his principles and is doing what is best for New Jersey by trying to control spending. If it is possible to get the US back on track, we could use more people like Christie to help do it.
He seems to be a no non-sense guy and he his getting something done and doing his best to stay within budget. Comrade Shuymer is only looking out for the corrupt unions
Oh what a wild concept trying to stay within budget. I don't believe this thought has ever entered Obama's little mind. Agree with Christie or not, it is great to hear a question actually answered, a statement actually made and not just the usual playing with words. Ask most politicians a question and by the time they are through talking you realize they never really answered the question they were asked.
Christie has done and said some things which I have not agreed with and I believe to be a bit 'RINOISH'. For the most part I assume he is doing a good job in New Jersey while fighting the liberal Democrats.
Neil Cavuto Hammers Chris Matthews For Attacking Gov. Chris Christie's Weight
(Ad Will Close In A Few Seconds)
Quoting Neil Cavuto:"I prefer they look in the mirror themselves and stick their condescending comments up their you know what. But that is just me, slightly overweight, very pissed." Blog author's comments - Neil Cavuto's show is one of the few news shows worth viewing. That said, I think his comments concerning the shots Chris Matthews took at Gov. Christie were very good.
'Hardball' host Chris Matthews appeared at a local event in Washington D.C. last Thursday to trash Republican Chris Christie as too fat to be President. The Washington Examiner reported that Matthews derided the New Jersey governor, mocking, "Chris Christie is moon over New Jersey, he should not wear white shirts, I tell you that."
This is what prompted the remarks by Neil Cavuto. Chris Matthews is one of the talking heads on the all liberal -- all the time MSNBC. He will go after anyone who is a 'hated' conservative.
I must wonder if what he said about Chris Christie - would he have said that to him in person? I believe we know the answer to that question.
Has Chris Matthews ever had something intelligent to say about anything?
