Lou Dobbs: "You know this Attorney General does not have the stomach for a fight. It’s just not going to happen."
Gregg Jarrett: "Well, unfortunately and I’m sad to say this. Jeff Sessions as Attorney General is the most feckless and incompetent Attorney General we’ve had in modern American history. He’s incapable of doing the job."
Blog Author's Comments: Why cannot president Trump appoint an interim Attorney General, is the Senate able to stop him? And the same thing should happen with Deputy AG Rosenstein. Was Sessions set up from the start? He is a prosecutor who is the victim of the biggest criminal conspiracy in the history of the US federal government. The entire Trump campaign was targeted by illegal spying.
And now we have Special Counsel Robert Mueller venturing and probing into any place he and his band of liberal lawyers care to go and for as long as they want to explore. With their only goal to take down the president. To give a quick answer as to whom I would appoint to take Jeff Sessions place, that would be Congressman Jim Jordan or Congressman Devin Nunes. Sessions has been worthless for over a year as the Attorney General and I don't see how anything will change until he is replaced or graciously steps down.
