Black NFL Quarterback Refuses To Stand For The National Anthem

During the last preseason game San Francisco 49er's quarterback Colin Kaepernick refused to stand up during the playing of the national anthem. He said:

“I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color.” ~ Colin Kaepernick

So what is going on? There is a little more to the story than most are willing to accept. The media and the NFL will avoid these discussions like the plague, because he is black and for other reasons.

During the off-season Colin Kaepernick converted to Islam. He is also engaged to Black Lives Matter activist and hip-hop radio personality DJ Nessa Diab.

Kaepernick was adopted at the age of a few weeks by a white couple. I seriously doubt he was 'oppressed' by his parents. He is a player in the NFL making millions for sitting on the bench.

Blog Author's Comments -- Kaepernick was once a rising star as an NFL quarterback but the past few years he has played very poorly. He is a backup quarterback for San Francisco, being oppressed by making quite a large salary. He receives millions of dollars to play a game and lives in a country that allows him to be free and he has the nerve to disrespect the American flag and those who have died to give him the right to be free.

I am so damn tired of people like this complaining and protesting for attention. Our troops and police are putting their lives on the line every day. There are so many military people who have died for this country, who have given Kaepernick the right to whine about how tough his people’s lives are.

And lastly, Colin Kaepernick can make the decision to sit on the bench during the national anthem, and he's applauded for courageous dissent and protest by all the usual suspects in the liberal sports media. But the Dallas Cowboys asked to put a sticker on their helmet this season to honor police officers, particularly the five officers killed in that mass assassination attempt, and the NFL said, 'No, no!' I guess it would be unnecessarily provocative to honor the police.

Graham: Trump Appeals To 'Dark Side' Of GOP That Think Obama Is Muslim

TPM -- Republican presidential candidate Sen. Lindsey Graham (SC) said in an interview with CNN that fellow candidate Donald Trump has tapped into the "dark side" of the GOP.

Graham was explaining how his rival has managed to dominate the Republican presidential race, polling as high as 35 percent depending on the survey. Graham said the support still represented a minority of the GOP.

“Twenty-five percent of our party that probably thinks Obama was born in Kenya or wants to believe that. There’s 25 percent of our party wants him to be a Muslim because they hate him so much," Graham said. "So, there’s a dark side of politics that Mr. Trump is appealing to."

Graham initially used the interview to defend his dismal poll numbers in his home state, South Carolina, but pivoted into a more specific attack on the GOP frontrunner. He said a Trump nomination would "kill" the GOP.

"The leader of our party has come up with a deportation plan that is Joseph McCarthy-like and he is saying things about Megyn Kelly and other women that are digging a big hole. And the chairman of our party said Trump was a net positive. Let me tell you, I think he's hurting our party."

He also said Trump's plan to get rid of birthright citizenship was constitutionally unsound.

"He's shallow. He's ill-prepared to be commander in chief," Graham said. "He doesn't know what he's talking about in terms of how our laws work. He says the worst things possible about immigrants and women. And he's a complete idiot about Mideast policy."

Trump's strategy to defeat the Islamic State terrorist group, he said, was worse than President Obama's, a strategy which Graham has repeatedly voiced discontent.

Graham used some of his Southern charm to end the interview: "Come to South Carolina. I'll beat his brains out."

Blog Author's Comments -- I don't believe that Donald Trump will receive the nomination for the Republican Party. Lindsey Graham has a long list of things he thinks Trump's supporters believe. Trump is doing well now because he is saying the things many voters want to hear. Graham doesn't have much to say about himself that will bring these voters to his camp. Would the dark side of the GOP be the people that can think for themselves and will not be told how to vote?

Graham, I do know that Obama does not care for the USA, at least not as founded. If Obama is not a Muslim he certainly is a Muslim sympathizer. I also know that the establishment RINO's, like you, McCain, McConnell, Boehner, and too many others to mention are the ones that are destroying the Republican Party.

newsbusters - ABC devoted its entire "This Week" on Easter Sunday to "God and Government," and not surprisingly the question of President Obama's faith prominently entered the discussion.

STEVE ROBERTS: The word Muslim is a code word, and it's a metaphor. It's a metaphor for racism. It's a metaphor for he's different from us, he's not like us, he's got this funny name, which he says all the time. And it is - and he's an alien on some level. But this goes back to our earlier discussion, that there has always been a strain of America that wants to exclude the other. Exclude someone who's different.

Blog author's comments - I dislike Obama for many reasons but not because he's black. He is by far the worst president this country has ever had. His policies have been a disaster.

No doubt Obama is pleased with what he has accomplished in just over two years. It could be his goal to take America down.

Unfortunately, the MSM refuses to acknowledge that the real racist may be occupying the White House.
