Truth Revolt -- Speaking at an MSNBC town hall, Hillary Clinton touched on foreign policy issues in Libya. She told the audience that Libya isn't perfect but it was making progress.
And then she dropped this whopper: "Libya was a different kind of calculation, and we didn't lose a single person."
Technically, she's right we didn't lose ONE person -- we lost FOUR people.
On September 11, 2012 four Americans, U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith, and CIA contractors Tyrone S. Woods and Glen Doherty were killed in attack in Benghazi, Libya.
No person, four persons, what difference at this point does it make?
Blog Author's Comments -- She and Obama are the most dishonest and corrupt people to ever walk the halls of power in this country. Hillary Clinton is everything our founders feared the most. She lives in an alternate universe. Reality is whatever she and her fellow leftists decide it to be. She will say that it was just a 'slip of the tongue' but I don't believe she has lost any sleep over what she and Obama allowed to happen in Benghazi, Libya.
How many people have we lost as a result of the weapons that flowed through Libya? And you can bet the corrupt media won't bring this up nor challenge it in any of her future interviews. So U.S. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith, and CIA contractors Tyrone S. Woods and Glen Doherty were nobody? And this woman wants to be the president.
Hillary Clinton - What Difference Does It Make
Today in Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, Illinois and Missouri
Politico - Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) hailed the reported death of Muammar Qadhafi as a “victory” for President Obama. “This is a victory for the president, the Obama administration but most importantly” for the Libyan people, McCain said on Fox News Thursday morning.
At the time that the senator make these remarks, the White House had not yet confirmed reports of the former Libyan ruler’s death. McCain said he believed “there’s very little doubt” that Qadhafi had been killed. Blog author's comments - What the GOP cannot have is another RINO like McCain as their nominee for the election of 2012. Not surprising that this would come from McCain.
No applause for Obama from me over this - Libya and Egypt will both be taken over by the Muslim Brotherhood. This will not be good for Israel or U.S. security.
Who actually killed Qadhafi? If one listens to the MSM the template is Obama did it. Obama's campaign needs a boost and the MSM is happy to help him.
It’s not like some warmonger Republican like George W. Bush was in the White House so everything’s just fine. Obama is now a hero...in the eyes of the MSM, his leftist base and John McCain.
Nightmare in Libya: 20,000 Surface-to-Air Missiles Missing
ABC News - U.S. officials had once thought there was little chance that terrorists could get their hands on many of the portable surface-to-air missiles that can bring down a commercial jet liner.
But now that calculation is out the window, with officials at a recent secret White House meeting reporting that thousands of them have gone missing in Libya.
"Matching up a terrorist with a shoulder-fired missile, that's our worst nightmare," said Sen. Barbara Boxer, D.-California, a member of the Senate's Commerce, Energy and Transportation Committee.
The nightmare has been made real with the discovery in Libya that an estimated 20,000 portable, heat-seeking missiles have gone missing from unguarded Army weapons warehouses.
The missiles, four to six-feet long and Russian-made, can weigh just 55 pounds with launcher. They lock on to the heat generated by the engines of aircraft, can be fired from a vehicle or from a combatant's shoulder, and are accurate and deadly at a range of more than two miles.
The ease with which rebels and other unknown parties have snatched thousands of the missiles has raised alarms that the weapons could end up in the hands of al Qaeda, which is active in Libya.
Peter Bouckaert of Human Rights Watch first warned about the problem after a trip to Libya months ago. He took pictures of pickup truckloads of the missiles being carted off during another trip just a few weeks ago. Blog author's comments - This could be a real "nightmare." And, a definite terrorism game changer.
There have been reports that units attached to Iran's Revolutionary Guards force have seized many of the surface-to-air missiles from Libya and smuggled them across the border into Sudan.
White House spokesman Jay Carney downplayed concerns about the missing missiles. “We have … worked closely with the Libyan rebel leaders as well as NATO in investigating and dealing with the issue of conventional weapons in Libya … we are exploring every option to expand our support.”
I don't believe the statement from Carney will help the current situation.
Liberal View - Video: "I Don't Care, Obama is Awesome"
Blog author's comments - The left will never see Barack Obama for what he is, a mediocre man who is totally unqualified to be President.
The video shows the leftist hypocrisy quite well. Anything a conservative president does is always bad, and whatever a liberal president does is always portrayed as good for the country.
There are many who are very much like the woman in this video. They played a large part in electing Obama in 2008. The liberals must be defeated in 2012.

Why Are We in Libya? and Other Questions the Media Won't Ask
floyd reports -- Why we are in Libya? This is one of those mysteries we have become accustomed to since the start of the Obama administration.
Not having any experience save for that of the nebulous “community organizer,” when forced to make decisions Obama has proved a dismal failure. Taking actual decisive action causes Obama to flail around swinging wildly like a child trying to break open a pinata.
Now he has unilaterally decided to plunge us into an undeclared war against Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi begging the question: why Mister Obama, why did you declare war without bringing your case before Congress? Does the word “quagmire” ring a bell?
Did I miss the 17 United Nations resolutions on Libya and the way Gaddafi treats his people? If not, then why are we at war with Libya?
Is this a war for oil? If so, why not just drill within our own borders and save the lives, treasure, and national prestige that will be lost in this adventure of yours?
When France and England go home and if Gaddafi outlasts the rest of the Europeans, will we be left holding the bag? Published reports estimate it could cost as much as $3.4 Billion just for a six week engagement.
Since we have no intelligence operation in the Middle East and your CIA Director gets his news from CNN, how do we know the people we are helping are really the ones we want to win?
Maybe the “rebels” are really just Muslim Brotherhood thugs trying to take over? Do you want to help them the way your do-nothing policy helped them in Egypt? "The President does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation." --Senator Barack Hussein Obama, December 20, 2007
"But the fact of the matter is that when we don’t talk to the American people — we’re debating the most important foreign policy issues that we face, and the American people have a right to know. It is not just Washington insiders that — are part of the debate that has to take place with respect to how we’re going to shift our foreign policy. This is a seminal question." --Barack Hussein Obama, August 8, 2007
Obama: "The American people have a right to know."
Blog author's comments - It’s certainly not true that we don’t have a good idea who the Libyan rebels are. Does Obama really think he is installing Democracy in Libya?
Too many of the “rebels” Obama is “saving” appear to be members of al-Qaeda and are terrorists and radical Islamists. I would think Obama has to know this.
Libyan rebel commander admits his fighters have al-Qauda links. Abdel-Hakim al-Hasidi, the Libyan rebel leader, has said jihadists who fought against allied troops in Iraq are on the front lines of the battle against Muammar Gaddafi's regime.
Why is Obama helping al-Qaeda in Libya? Why is America helping terrorists who fought against the US in Iraq and Afghanistan? Do we have any assurances that al-Qaeda will not end up in control of Libya?
Secretary of Defense Robert Gates said today that Libya did not pose a threat to the United States before the U.S. began its military campaign against the North African country. It was not a vital national interest to the United States.
CBS News has learned, President Obama will address the nation on the Libya offensive on Monday night at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Obama plans to outline why he made the decision to get the United States involved and how he approached the decision.
