Obama - Still Blaming Bush For Our Problems

Washington (AP) -- President Barack Obama said Thursday that the 2012 election will be a "fun debate" over two competing visions for the nation, referring to Mitt Romney as the Republican "front-runner" who has backed policies that would undermine middle-class families.
At a fundraiser held at a Washington hotel, Obama told supporters that his administration had spent the past three years "cleaning up after some of that mess, and I don't want to have to do it again."He warned that a budget plan pushed by House Republicans would hurt early childhood education, veterans and road and bridge projects crucial to the nation's economic recovery.[...]
Kirsten Kukowski, a spokeswoman for the Republican National Committee, said in response that Obama was "still pointing fingers instead of talking about his accomplishments. The president who was all about hope and change has now resorted to distortion and fear."
Obama revisited many of the same arguments he made earlier in the week during a speech to newspaper executives, in which he framed the election as a choice between his work to use government to help people prosper and Republicans who would let average Americans struggle while pushing policies that help the wealthy few.
"It's going to be a big debate, and it's going to be a fun debate. Because it's always good to have the truth on your side," Obama said.

Blog author's comments - Obama refuses to take any responsibility for the destruction he has done in less than four years. He continues to blame the Bush administration for almost all that is wrong with the country.
Most of the problems we now have are the result of Obama's policies and agenda. If Obama is in office another term the damage inflicted upon America may never be repaired.
It is amusing to read that he says he has the truth on his side. Obama also said the GOP budget plan would hurt the nation's economic recovery. The economy will begin to recover when Obama moves out of the White House.

Obama - Is Still Blaming Bush For Our Problems
Three Years Cleaning" Bush's Mess Up
“The reason they still support me is because they understand what an incredible mess had been made as I was coming into office and we’ve been spending the last three years cleaning it up. The good news is that the economy is starting to strengthen. We’ve seen some positive signs. The unemployment rate has ticked down.”
Blog author's comments - It will take many years to clean up the mess that Obama has created if he can be removed from the White House in 2012.
One thing we will never see is this President take responsibility for anything, except of course the killing of Osama bin Laden all by himself.
Obama can’t run on his record. So it will be a combination of blame the Republicans and class warfare. If he wins a second term he will have nothing to lose. He could take our country to a place from where it may never recover.

Osama bin Laden - No Longer Among The Living

That Led To The Killing Of Osama bin Laden
Military Following Death Of Osama bin Laden
Barack Obama is of course taking credit for the death of Osama bin Laden. But what he did was retain many of the policies of George W. Bush. While campaigning for the presidency he said he would stop the Patriot Act, close Gitmo, cut military funding and stop the enhanced interrogation techniques.
Barack Obama:
“I directed Leon Pannetta, the director of the CIA, to make the killing or capture of bin Laden the top priority”
“I was briefed on a possible lead to bin Laden”
“I met repeatedly with my national security team as we developed more information about the possibility that we had located bin Laden”
“I determined that we had enough intelligence to take action and authorized an operation to get Osama bin Laden and bring him to justice”
“Today, at my direction, the United States launched a targeted operation against that compound in Abbottabad Pakistan”
“I have made clear, just as President Bush did shortly after 9/11, that our war is not against Islam; bin Laden was not a Muslim leader”
Star Tribune - Officials say CIA interrogators in secret overseas prisons developed the first strands of information that ultimately led to the killing of Osama bin Laden.
Current and former U.S. officials say that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, provided the nom de guerre of one of bin Laden's most trusted aides. The CIA got similar information from Mohammed's successor, Abu Faraj al-Libi. Both were subjected to harsh interrogation tactics inside CIA prisons in Poland and Romania.
The news is sure to reignite debate over whether the now-closed interrogation and detention program was successful. President Barack Obama closed the prison system.
Blog author's comments - The killing of Osama bin Laden will not stop the terrorist attacks. Bin Laden has been sitting on the sidelines for years as a figure head. I expect the attacks to ratchet up a few notches. The terrorists who have been planning and carrying out the attacks will continue as usual. They will now want to avenge the death of their leader.
Barack Obama was provided with accurate intelligence reports as to where Osama bin Laden was living. After speaking with his advisors he ordered the attack. He did what any President would do with the information he was given. He also kept the policies of George W. Bush in place which provided the intelligence information. The military Special Forces did their usual excellent job.

Libya vs. Iraq - Video

Blog author's comments - The left will never see Barack Obama for what he is, a mediocre man who is totally unqualified to be President.
The video shows the leftist hypocrisy quite well. Anything a conservative president does is always bad, and whatever a liberal president does is always portrayed as good for the country.
There are many who are very much like the woman in this video. They played a large part in electing Obama in 2008. The liberals must be defeated in 2012.

Obama is a victim of Bush's failed promises
It is now July 2010 and Obama is still blaming Bush and telling us that he inherited this 'mess when he took office'. He refers to, our economic problems as the "Great Recession". Years from now, the Democrats will still be blaming Bush for what they have done to our country. Are there still that many Obama supporters who believe his lies?

The copy of the newspaper clipping above, came to me in the form of an email message from a friend. I am sure it has been around the Internet since it was written. I found a link to the column, it is worth reading.

Barack Obama is setting a record-setting number of records during his first year in office.
Largest budget ever. Largest deficit ever. Largest number of broken promises ever. Most self-serving speeches ever. Largest number of agenda-setting failures ever. Fastest dive in popularity ever.
Wow. Talk about change. Just one year ago, fresh from his inauguration celebrations, President Obama was flying high. After one of the nation’s most inspiring political campaigns, the election of America ’s first black president had captured the hopes and dreams of millions.
To his devout followers, it was inconceivable that a year later his administration would be gripped in self-imposed crisis.Of course, they don’t see it as self imposed.
It’s all George Bush’s fault.
George Bush, who doesn’t have a vote in Congress and who no longer occupies the White House, is to blame for it all.
He broke Obama’s promise to put all bills on the White House web site for five days before signing them.
He broke Obama’s promise to have the congressional health care negotiations broadcast live on C-SPAN.
He broke Obama’s promise to end earmarks.
He broke Obama’s promise to keep unemployment from rising above 8 percent.
He broke Obama’s promise to close the detention center at Guantanamo in the first year.
He broke Obama’s promise to make peace with direct, no pre-condition talks with America ’s most hate-filled enemies during his first year in office, ushering in a new era of global cooperation.
He broke Obama’s promise to end the hiring of former lobbyists into high White House jobs.
He broke Obama’s promise to end no-compete contracts with the government.
He broke Obama’s promise to disclose the names of all attendees at closed White House meetings.
He broke Obama’s promise for a new era of bipartisan cooperation in all matters.
He broke Obama’s promise to have chosen a home church to attend Sunday services with his family by Easter of last year.
Yes, it’s all George Bush’s fault.
President Obama is nothing more than a puppet in the never-ending, failed Bush administration. If only George Bush wasn’t still in charge, all of President Obama’s problems would be solved.
His promises would have been kept, the economy would be back on track, Iran would have stopped its work on developing a nuclear bomb and would be negotiating a peace treaty with Israel, North Korea would have ended its tyrannical regime, and integrity would have been restored to the federal government.
Oh, and did I mention what it would be like if the Democrats, under the leadership of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, didn’t have the heavy yoke of George Bush around their necks. There would be no earmarks, no closed-door drafting of bills, no increase in deficit spending, no special-interest influence (unions), no vote buying in Nebraska & Louisiana. . . Read entire column

George W. Bush Asks - "Miss Me Yet?"
This cheery image of former President George W. Bush appeared on a billboard in Minnesota a few months ago, next to the words, "Miss Me Yet?" It appears a lot of people think it's a fair question.I voted for Bush, but I also had issues with many decisions he made and others he should have made but did not. I will say that I would take another eight years of Bush, instead of the 'Community Organizer' we now have.
Hopefully this November we can gain back some power to stop what he is doing to the country. In the meantime the Democrats will quickly ram through every bill they can, because I believe they know that after the mid-term election, Obama's last two years he will be a 'lame duck' President. I sure as hell hope so.

Nancy Pelosi - To The Rescue
There is no defense of the pathetic display by the Obama administration for the lack of immediate action which should have been taken as soon as the BP oil spill occurred. They should have been involved immediately in finding a solution to stem the BP leak in the Gulf of Mexico. The oil is still leaking after almost six weeks, as of this writing it is day 41, and now we hear from Nancy "Stretch" Pelosi.
She is doing nothing to help the situation but has now placed the blame for the oil leak on George W. Bush. Hey "Stretch", the well is still leaking, blaming Bush is not going to cap the leak. When the brain trust of this administration cannot find an easy solution to a problem, they use the same old play book, they either blame Bush or throw money at the problem. This time, that won't work.
The Washington Examiner reports:Pelosi cannot defend the Obama administration's lack of response to the BP oil crisis, so she plays the 'blame game.' 'San Fran Nan', we are tired of the blame Bush rhetoric. Barack Obama is now in charge, he is the President, but his administration apparently is not close to finding a solution to the extremely severe problem which still exists.
"Many of the people appointed to the Bush administration are still burrowed in the agencies that are supposed to oversee the [oil] industry. "Pelosi said when asked if Democrats could have prevented or mitigated the crisis by keeping a closer watch on the industry.
The Speaker added, "the cozy relationship between the Bush administration's agency leadership and the industry is clear...I've heard no complaints from my members about the way the president has handled it." Pelosi stated.
On Friday "The Washington Examiner" asked Nancy Pelosi's office to release a list of the people Bush appointed that she was referring to. I doubt that we will ever see a list.
Her statement was simply 'cover fire' because Obama has a problem he cannot solve, he is looking extremely bad, he has shown very little leadership, and this problem is his responsibility.
