Now - Jill Stein Wants The Justice Department To Investigate The Election

The Hill -- Stein pushes Justice Dept. for investigation of electoral system.

Jill Stein is continuing her push to investigate the integrity of the U.S. electoral system, with lawyers for the former Green Party presidential candidate asking Attorney General Loretta Lynch to probe the issue.

“We write to urge the Department of Justice to launch an investigation into the integrity of our nation’s election system generally, and our nation’s voting machines specifically, based on the information we discovered in the course of this representation,” reads the letter from Stein’s counsel dated Friday.

“The attempted recount process has uncovered that voting machines relied on in these states and across the country are prone to human and machine error, especially in under-resourced black and brown communities, and vulnerable to tampering and hacking,” the letter continued.

“The recount also found that the states’ efforts to protect their systems may be insufficient, particularly in low-income communities and communities of color. Each of these grave concerns warrants federal intervention,” it added.
Blog Author's Comments -- Jill Stein, you had your recounts, now shut it down and go away, so we will never have to listen to or look at you again. After January 20, I want President Trump's Justice Department to investigate Obama's Justice Department. They might also investigate Jill Stein’s phony fundraising. I have little doubt that her money came from Soros and Hillary. The left still can't come to grips with the fact that Hillary Clinton will not be the next president. And the letter from Stein's attorney naturally mentions low-income communities and communities of color. These people are not able to function and vote for themselves? If that is the case perhaps they should not be voting.

What a pathetic and ignorant group of people, and that includes most if not all of the media. The left are beyond unhinged and dishonest. I heard this morning that press Secretary Josh Earnest said that the Obama administration is the 'most transparent in history'...unbelievable. We need voter I.D. laws for everyone in all states. No I.D. they don't vote. Jill Stein and Hillary Clinton become bigger jokes every time they speak. Stein must be on a retainer with Soros and Hillary for the next year as senior female election agitator. She can join Obama as an assistant because that is what he will be doing.

If Democrats Lose - Will It Be Obama's Fault?

If Dems lose, Obama will blame everyone but himself

Washington Examiner - Assume the polls are correct and Republicans win control of the House, and perhaps even the Senate, in next month's elections. What lessons will the White House learn? Will Barack Obama interpret the vote as a repudiation of much of his agenda, or will he conclude that he made a few tactical errors but was still right on the big issues?

Bet on the latter. All indications coming out of the White House suggest that if Democrats suffer major losses, the president and his top aides will resolutely refuse to reconsider the policies -- national health care, stimulus, runaway spending -- that led to their defeat. Instead, they will point fingers in virtually every direction other than their own. Come November, it's likely the D-for-Democrat that the president refers to so often will actually stand for "denial."

The White House has given us plenty of clues in recent days as to how Obama will react to a possible Democratic drubbing at the polls. Here are five:

1. Obama will blame voters, not himself.

2. Obama will spin the outcome as an illegitimate GOP victory.

3. Obama will blame a broken process.

4. Obama will reaffirm, not reconsider, his achievements.

5. Obama will resist real change inside the White House.

Tie all those threads together, and in the wake of a Republican victory in November you can virtually guarantee the White House will not concede that the president hurt himself by pushing an unpopular national health care program through Congress; by pushing nearly a trillion dollars in stimulus spending that failed to reduce unemployment as predicted; by pushing a costly cap-and-trade agenda; or by advocating any number of other initiatives that flew in the face of voter sentiments. - Read more > > >

Blog author's comments - Barack Hussein Obama will never fault himself for anything. Whatever goes wrong will always be the responsibility of someone else.

Of course his faithful followers are of the same mindset. This is the way the liberal mind functions; they are convinced they are always correct.

There are still many lefties who are quite sure that the debt and unemployment numbers we now have, are because of blunders by George W. Bush. They will not admit that Obama had anything to do with the creation of the current problems we now face.

Biden Lashes Out at 'Republican Tea Party'

Biden Lashes Out at 'Republican Tea Party'- Predicts Dems Victory

Associated Press
July 20, 2010

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Vice President Joe Biden boldly predicted Friday that voters would reject a "Republican tea party" of extreme candidates and Democrats would retain control of Congress this November.

In a pep talk for the party's rank and file, the vice president challenged the widespread notion that significant losses in House races, and perhaps the Senate, could cost the party its comfortable majorities - a possibility White House press secretary Robert Gibbs suggested last month before saying Democrats will hang onto the House.

"On Nov. 3 ... there will be in Washington, D.C., a Democratic majority in the House and a Democratic majority in the Senate. That will be the case," Biden said in a speech to the Democratic National Committee.

And, he said, Democrats will do better than expected in gubernatorial races, too.

"If it weren't illegal, I'd make book on it," Biden quipped.

All 435 House seats, 37 in the Senate and 37 governors races are on the line.

Bowing to economic reality, Biden said voters' anger and frustration was understandable given persistently high unemployment and a sluggish recovery.

But he also expressed confidence that once voters focus on the elections, they will stick with President Barack Obama because "the choice is between Democrats and the Republican tea party. It's between Democrats and the party of repeal and repeat."

The DNC was holding a two-day meeting to get a status report on preparations for the midterm elections and approve changes to the 2012 presidential primary calendar and nominating convention.

"The midterms will be tough," Chairman Tim Kaine told party members. But, he added: "Tough is who we are. Tough is what we do."

"We need to mobilize our army once again. We've won some impressive battles in the last 18 months but we still haven't won this war," Kathleen Sebelius, the Health and Human Services secretary, told the gathering.

Privately, some Democrats attending the St. Louis meeting fretted that the political environment may be getting even more difficult for the party in power, with dour economic news seeming to pile up with each passing day.

On Thursday, the Labor Department reported that the number of people applying for unemployment benefits reached the half-million mark last week for the first time since November. . . Entire column

Blog author's comments - Mr. Biden, my hope is that your prediction for the mid-term election is as accurate as 90 percent of everything else you have muttered during your political career.

I would be very pleased if 'Queen' Nancy Pelosi has to pass the gavel as Speaker of the House to a Republican. A long shot - but it would also be extremely heart warming for the country, if Harry Reid is defeated. Voters in Nevada - this is your chance to be rid of this pathetic little man.

For the conservatives - we need control of the House and to pickup some Senate seats. This is the only way Obama can be stopped from doing more harm to our country. November is the time to dump the Democrats and RINO's.

Election 2010 for Dems - Will It Be Bad?

Election looms for Democrats: Will It Be Bad?

Reuters - For nervous Democrats, the big question now is: How bad will November's congressional elections be?

The answer: Pretty bad.

Battling a tough political climate fueled by economic fears and President Barack Obama's political difficulties, Democrats face an uphill struggle to retain control in the House of Representatives and avoid big losses in the Senate.

"We have always said this election is an uphill climb for Democrats. The question is the steepness of the climb," said Representative Chris Van Hollen, who heads the House Democratic Campaign Committee. But he was adamant Democrats could avoid a loss of the House that would likely slam the brakes on Obama's legislative agenda and reshape the battle lines for the president's 2012 re-election campaign. "We will maintain a majority in the Congress," he said.

All 435 House seats, 36 of 100 Senate seats and 37 governorships are at stake in November, with Republicans needing to gain 39 House seats and 10 Senate seats to reclaim majorities.Republican victories would be welcomed by the business community and put Obama's plans for climate change legislation and immigration reform in doubt.

The non-partisan Cook Political Report lists more than 70 House seats as highly competitive and predicts Republicans will pick up 30 to 40 seats in November -- putting them on the cusp of a majority.

"The House is in play," said David Wasserman, Cook's House analyst. "A couple of months ago our forecast for Republican pick-ups would have been 25 to 35 seats. We're at 30 to 40 now. I don't know where we will be in a few months."

In the Senate, Republicans would need to sweep nearly all of about 16 competitive races to reclaim the 51 seats needed for control. Poll averages compiled by the web site Real Clear Politics show the Democrats are likely to suffer big Senate losses but narrowly keep control.

"For the Senate to flip, you need a lot of things to happen -- Republicans will probably need a couple of surprises," said pollster Peter Brown of Quinnipiac University. "Clearly the Republicans are going to pick up seats, but they have a lot of seats they need to pick up."

TRENDS FAVOR REPUBLICANS.

Public concerns about the economy, a high jobless rate and Obama's performance have created a glum public mood and a strong desire for change that has already led to the ouster of several incumbents from both parties in early primaries.

Republicans are targeting many of those freshmen and sophomores, and when possible focusing on their votes for the healthcare overhaul, economic stimulus package and climate control bill. "If you're a Democrat who supported all three, it's going to be a real weight on your campaign," said Paul Lindsay, a spokesman for the Republican House campaign committee.

Democrats are spending $30 million to try to get Obama's 15 million first-time voters in 2008 -- many of them young, women, blacks and Hispanics -- back to the polls.

Republican strategist Karl Rove, architect of former President George W. Bush's two White House wins, said he thought Republicans could pick up 35 seats and possibly as many as 55.
But ultimate House control could be decided by a small number of close races, he said, noting the 15 closest House races in 2006 hinged on 27,000 votes out of 82 million cast.
"It will be settled by small numbers," Rove said . . . Entire column

Blog author's comment - Interesting column, but there are almost four months before the November election. A lot can happen which could turn this around.

For the Republicans to win a majority, they have to help themselves - show more leadership qualities.

We have to go to the polls and vote for the right candidates.
