Walking The Cat Is Difficult
A funny cat video that anyone that has a dog will truly appreciate as they watch this guy try to walk his cat. This guy decides it would be a good idea to take his cat for a walk around the block but the cat has other ideas. In the best spirit of shouting “I Am Not A Dog” the cat rolls over and plays dead as it’s way of refusing to walk.
Lunch Atop A Skyscraper
If you have ever wondered about the story behind the photograph known as “Lunch Atop A Skyscraper” then you’ll find this video interesting to watch. Some people claim the photograph is fake because it appears to have been staged and isn’t a normal lunch break for these workers. Even if the scene was set by the photographer, it’s still impressive to me given the lack of safety lines and the extreme daring that is displayed by these men in a casual manner. I had no idea that the photographers who took the photograph can’t be identified as there were several taking photos that day.
Jake The Diamond Dog
If you love baseball and dogs then you’ll appreciate the work that Jake the Diamond Dog does at minor league baseball games. Jake has been trained to retrieve the bats as well as to deliver water to players and referees on hot summer days. Jake seems to really enjoy his work but I have a sneaky feeling that what he likes best is chasing those frisbees and taking the selfies with the pretty girls.
Listen To The Music
Playing For Change shares with us their music video of “Listen To The Music” performed by musicians around the world. If you are a fan of The Doobie Brothers then you might recognize several band members who are featured in this music video. Tom Johnston lives outside in the Redwood Forest of Northern California and further south in San Diego are Patrick Simmons and John McFee playing in a park.
Hallelujah Veterans
Musical artist Sailor Jerri shares with us her music video of Hallelujah that she rewrote as a tribute song for Veterans. I think she did a wonderful job rewriting such a classic song in honor of all of those that have served in the armed forces. Sailor is a Navy Veteran herself and all of the photos used in the video were sent to her by Veterans.
