If you look at my speech yesterday it was not so much a critique of what the House Republicans have proposed as it was a description of what they've proposed.--President Obama who never offered his own ideas and spent 30 minutes attacking the GOP during his budget speech.
This is a guy [Obama] who does not look at politics in left, center, whatever. He really doesn't.

We shouldn't be playing chicken with our economy by linking the raising of the debt ceiling to anything.
--White House spokesman Jay Carney who doesn't realize that not taking our debt seriously put us in the mess we are trying to escape from.
It was clear we were going to have to cut spending - the President was eager to do that.
--White House Senior Advisor David Plouffe who apparently forgot that his boss did not start to cut spending until the GOP won control of the House.
In '94 people were elected simply to come here to kill the National Endowment for the Arts. Now they're here to kill women.
--Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-NY) who apparently never received the civility memo.
No one is demonizing the Tea Party.
--Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), who has apparently not seen the news over the past 2 years.
The president is committed to reducing spending -- cutting spending and reducing the deficit.
--White House spokesman Jay Carney.
Any claim that his administration shut down oil production is untrue.
--President Obama after a long moratorium on offshore drilling and extending the ban on offshore drilling on our east and west coast until 2017.
It is inaccurate to state, as too many have, that the border is overrun with violence and out of control.
--Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano.
