Left And Right Agree: Everyone Is Mad At John Bolton...

Blog Author's Input: John Bolton served as the 25th United States Ambassador to the United Nations from 2005 to 2006 and as the 27th United States National Security Advisor from 2018 to 2019. He traveled in rarified air, meeting dignitaries in foreign countries. He was once a highly regarded member of President Trump's staff. When the President felt he was no longer doing his job he was removed.

So, Bolton had his feelings hurt and signed to do a 'tell all' book worth a large amount of money. If he was sincere and truthful concerning what he says he knew, and the disagreements he had with the President, he could have testified before Congress, he was asked, of course, by the Democrats to do so. But no, Bolton is trying to sell his book, with his version of the issues he had with Trump.

He is a fired employee telling lies about his former boss, who had every right to remove him. I thought at one time, John Bolton acted and looked like someone that could be trusted, I and many others were wrong. Amusing and surprising that for once the left and the right can come together against a common enemy, at least on this short video. Bolton is deeply involved in a deception and loyalty is dead.

Senator Ron Johnson To Bolton: How About You Open That
Yapper Of Yours And Give Us Some Clarity On This Ukraine Thing

Come to think of it, it is a little irritating that Washington is having a nervous breakdown about what Bolton may or may not have said about Trump and Ukraine in his manuscript and the guy can’t be bothered to so much as tweet about it.

No interviews. No statements confirming or denying the NYT story from Sunday night. Nada. Just suspenseful silence as Senate Republicans mull what to do about witnesses.

This drama queen must be having the time of life, knowing that the entire political world is momentarily hanging on his every move.

Ron Johnson’s request here is fundamentally the same as James Lankford’s request for Bolton’s manuscript this morning. In each case they’re asking the question, do we absolutely have to call this guy? Because if the Times’s account of the book is true and Bolton really does claim Trump mentioned an aid-for-Biden-dirt deal to him, then yes, they may have to call him after all and deal with that. But if it’s not true, either an outright fabrication or a gross exaggeration of what Bolton actually alleges, then it would be nice to know that *before* Republicans take up the issue of witnesses on Friday. Can’t he give them a hint? A wink and a nod? Anything?
Johnson said Bolton should clarify what he knows but suggested he do so outside the formal proceedings of the impeachment trial. “Now that what has unfolded with the manuscript being leaked — by the way, exquisite timing, maybe suspicious timing — The Wall Street Journal has called for John to just come forward. Just tell the public what you know. I think that would actually be a smart thing. I’d encourage John to do that.”

Johnson said Bolton should do so “without involving the trial” and possibly go straight to the media.

Blog Author's Comments: John Bolton is just keeping his mouth shut at this point because he is putting his book sales first instead of country, and I had always thought of him as a patriot. So much worry and unease over an unseen, unverified manuscript. Fact: Aid was released. Fact: Javelin missiles were never delayed. Fact: Ukraine was unaware aid was delayed. Fact: There was no pressure.

It is a near certainty that whatever Bolton said, the New York Times would certainly exaggerate it. The Times does not even explicitly say it confirms a quid pro quo, only that Trump mentions holding up aid in the same conversations as corruption, Biden, interference, etc. The issue is that the official explanation was assurances on corruption, but Hunter Biden and Burisma is a centerpiece example of corruption.

This leaves open a lot of room for speculation. Bolton does not seem to say that the President gave specific directives to him or anyone else. The Ukrainian diplomatic team never received such explicit instructions, which makes it highly unlikely that Bolton ever received such a directive.

If Bolton testifies, he is going to be asked if Trump ordered anyone to demand information on Biden explicitly...and the answer is almost certainly going to be “no” just as everyone else touching Ukraine has testified.

What is more relevant...what President Trump might have said or what he did?

Trump's Choice Of John Bolton Reflects American Greatness

Fifteen years ago, North Korea banned John Bolton from the useless nuclear talks. “Such human scum and bloodsucker is not entitled to take part in the talks,” its foreign ministry declared.

North Korea had freaked out because then Undersecretary of State Bolton had called Kim Jong Il, a “tyrannical dictator” and life in the socialist hellhole, a “hellish nightmare”.

Bolton would later describe that as one of his proudest moments.

Back then, North Korea had defended the move by pointing out that Bolton’s views differed "from the recent remarks of the U.S. president". And so it could claim that he didn’t represent the United States.

Fifteen years later the game has changed. Kim Jong Il is dead and the President of the United States has called his successor, “little rocket man”, a “madman” and “short and fat”.

John Bolton very definitely does represent the views of this president.

And to prove it, President Trump has appointed him as his new National Security Adviser.

Bolton knew then that appeasing the North Korean dictatorship would never work. Bill Clinton’s bad North Korean deal paved the way for the even worse Iran deal. It took a decade and a half for an administration to actually listen to him. And his appointment sends a clear signal to North Korea.

The media had been buzzing that McMaster would be replaced by a more conciliatory figure on North Korea. The establishment even had their man all lined up. Trump also sent them a clear message.

President Trump is tired of the failed establishment foreign policy of appeasement. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was replaced over the Iran deal. The new lineup of Pompeo heading the State Department and Bolton cleaning house at the NSC shows Trump is ready to get tough on the Mullahs and the Norks.

McMaster spent his tenure at the National Security Council ruthlessly forcing out Trump supporters while protecting Obama holdovers. His obstructionism enabled the leakers undermining the president. He refused to call out Islam, put a Hamas apologist on the Israel desk, and blocked the investigations of the eavesdropping and unmasking efforts aimed at the future president by Obama associates.

Now that’s over and done with. And the worst of the Democrats are already ranting and raving.

Rep. Keith Ellison, Rep. Adam Schiff, Rep. Gerry Connolly, Rep. Betty McCollum and many other lefties don’t want Bolton. Ellison called him, “dangerous”, Rep. Boyle dubbed him a “dangerous radical”, Rep. Bass accused him of “peddling hatred of Muslims”, and Rep. Don Beyer wailed, "Trump desperately needs tempered and measured voices around him, Bolton is neither of those things."

John Bolton is actually tempered and measured. He’s been tempered by his struggles against a bureaucracy more interested in protecting careerists and their agendas than defending America. And he has been measured by the President of the United States as a voice he wants around him.

Bolton is also a voice that the Freedom Center and its supporters have wanted around them.

The new National Security Adviser was a favorite speaker at Freedom Center events from California to Texas to Florida. From the Restoration Weekend to the Wednesday Morning Club, he was always brimming with confidence in this country’s strength and outrage at the betrayals of her leaders.

At a 2014 Restoration Weekend, Bolton powerfully indicted Obama for sending a "signal of American weakness" and urged the rise of a presidential candidate who would understand that, "a strong America is the best way to protect our interests and preserve the peace". Now that has finally come to pass.

Bolton is not the only familiar face from the Center in this administration. A Washington Post hit piece from last year bitterly complained that, “Since its formation in 1988, the Freedom Center has helped cultivate a generation of political warriors seeking to upend the Washington establishment. These warriors include some of the most powerful and influential figures in the Trump administration: Attorney General Sessions, senior policy adviser (Stephen) Miller.” And more are joining their ranks.

Blog Author's Comments: I am encouraged by John Bolton's appointment as National Security Adviser. I think there were many of us who were hoping that the 2016 election would see Bolton receive a job within the new administration. At least now, Trump has filled the position with someone who is well aware of what should be accomplished and how to do the job.

But, I am very dissatisfied and disgruntled that Trump signed the Omnibus spending bill yesterday, that did not provide his supporters or him with what we really want and need. And we shall see how his and the Republican lawmakers decision will impact the mid-term elections. Hopefully the president has learned a precise and important lesson, if his decision does not take him down.

Concerning John Bolton, this change is a huge improvement. The replacement of Michael Flynn, whom it appears, was the target of a successful effort by the Democratic left and media to railroad him and remove him from the National Security post and be replaced with McMaster was a big setback. From his tough rhetoric on Iran, Bolton has a very realistic view of Islam, and that can only help American policy and the president.

Bolton: 'The Russians Have Walked All Over
The Obama Administration For Eight Years'

Breitbart -- Friday, former United Nations ambassador John Bolton reacted on “Fox & Friends” to President Barack Obama sanctioning Russian intelligence officials over hacking suspicions.

According to Bolton, the Russians have “walked all over” Obama his entire presidency.

“Look, the Russians have walked all over the Obama Administration for eight years,” Bolton said. “It’s really been a pathetic performance.”

Bolton suggested Obama sanctioned the 35 Russian officials “to try and box the Trump Administration in.”

“So, what this last burst of activity has to do is hard to say. I do think it’s intended to try and box the Trump administration in. I think it will fail. This is simply an executive order. If President Trump decides to reverse it, it’s easy enough to do,” he added.
Blog Author's Comments -- John Bolton does not know that the Russians hacked Hillary's campaign manager, John Podesta's emails, and put them on-line as part of the WikiLeaks information exposing the corruption within Hillary, Podesta, Obama and the Democrat's dishonest and downright criminal activity. This, the voters were entitled to know prior to the election. Julian Assange who provides the WikiLeaks information has not been wrong yet.

Obama has embarrassed not only himself but the United States, with his actions against Israel and Russia. But, this is no surprise, he has always been an anti-Semitic and he is using the Russians as the people behind WikiLeaks hacking that showed us what Hillary Clinton has been and will always be. Putin did not win the election for Donald Trump, Hillary lost because of what she is. And Trump ran a great and aggressive campaign.

I have believed for years that Barack Hussein Obama has been the worst president in the history of our country. He has worked harder in these few weeks during the transition period than he did during all of his time in office. When it was time to go to work for we the people, he went golfing or on vacation. But when it came time to work against we the people, or against Israel, he worked overtime in an attempt to make a mess of things for Trump to clean up.

President Trump and his administration will take care of the business of governing the country with America's best interests in mind. One huge difference between Trump and Obama, Trump cares for his country and its people and Obama does not. He was intent upon dismantling the country and pitting the haves against the have not’s. Obama supported homeland terrorist groups like Black Lives Matter who are nothing but racist thugs. This is Obama the racist 'community organizer.' He cannot be gone soon enough. The Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu has listened to his lies for eight years and Vladimir Putin the President of the Russian Federation laughs at him.

Who Will Be President-Elect Donald Trump's Secretary Of State?

Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney

Rival groups within the president-elect's transition team are divided between 2012 Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney and former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani.

Mitt Romney's Takedown Of Donald Trump

Mike Huckabee: Trump Picking Romney For
Secretary Of State Would Be A 'Real Insult'

Blog Author's Comments -- How can President-Elect Donald Trump even think about Romney as his Secretary of State, after what Romney said prior to Trump's nomination and presidential win? I most certainly could not if I were in his place. It will be a huge disappoint if he selects Romney.

Rudi Giuliani worked long and hard to help Trump win the election. I would have confidence with him in negations with the leaders of foreign countries when the interests of the United States could be at risk. I agree with Mike Huckabee and Newt Gingrich who do not want Romney in Trump's Cabinet. I think that, if you want someone who is going to go out and be a very tough negotiator for America and represent American interest in the way that Trump campaigned, I think that probably Rudy Giuliani is the better pick and has the right temperament. I also believe that John Bolton should be considered for this most important job.

John Bolton: Obama A Failure In Foreign Policy

John Bolton: The irony is, Obama is campaigning on the basis that he's a success as a foreign policy president

Blog author's comments - Barack Obama takes credit for the killing of Osama bin Laden. But, the depressed economy, high unemployment, the obscene levels of spending, the anti-business policies and other failed policies, he continues to blame on the Bush administration.

Newt Gingrich said - when he was ahead in the polls:
I'd Nominate John Bolton For Secretary of State
