Kamala Harris Delivers Another Word Salad
When Asked About Soaring Gas Prices (Audio)

This from thegatewaypundit.com

Kamala Harris appeared on the Willie Moore show over the weekend to discuss soaring gas prices and the Biden Admin’s infrastructure package.

Harris was asked about soaring gas prices and she delivered a word salad.

“How do we get to a solution for [gas prices]?” the host asked Kamala Harris.

Gas prices are at record highs because of Joe Biden’s war on American energy production.

🙶 “Well first of all we’ve been, um, you know, understanding that it is a real issue, um, what we have done is we’ve actually released some of the reserves, the petroleum reserves to bring down the cost of gas prices. And we are also dealing with – the cost of gas is just part of the issue of the cost of living, right?” Harris said. “It’s too expensive for too many people.”

How profound.

Audio:

Kamala Harris was also asked for some words of encouragement to Americans who are struggling.

🙶 "I would say first of all thank you for being a fighter, for knowing that we have reason to have faith in what is possible but we have to work to make it achievable and that includes what folks did to get out and vote in 2020 because that led to – I think of it like this – people put in their order and said this is what I want.”

There may still be some people that are in the undecided column for the midterm election, but hopefully they now know what they do not want to order ever again. America is adrift, there are no adults in charge. She would be amusing if this was a celebrity bimbo, but this is the vice-president of the United States of America.

She always provides the word salad, then pauses as if she has uttered something quite intense and learned. The fact that she believes what she says is profound is the pathetic part. I would like for any reporter/journaalist to follow up with: "What the Hell are you talking about? That makes no sense."

Approximately two weeks ago she talked about the "significance of the passage of time" she repeated it, then the pause for effect. All we can do is shake our head in disgust because of both Harris and the mumbling nutter in the White House. I assume the Democrats and media understand and agree with everything they say.

Below is the reference of Kamala Harris speaking.

VP Harris: "The significance of the passage of time, right?..."

CNN Says Americans Are OK Paying Higher Gas Prices
If It Means Holding Putin Accountable For Invading Ukraine

This from thegatewaypundit.com.

This is CNN.

CNN said Americans are totally ok with paying higher gas prices if it means sticking it to Vladimir Putin.

Joe Biden and CNN are actually claiming that soaring gas prices are Russia’s fault and have nothing to do with Biden’s war on the US energy sector.

Gas prices already rose $1.14 from the time Biden took office to the day Putin invaded Ukraine but Biden is blaming Russia anyway.

And a certain percent of Americans actually believe this.

“People we’ve spoken to over the last couple of weeks – they’re OK paying higher [gas] prices if it means holding Russia accountable for what they are doing in Ukraine,” a CNN reporter said on Tuesday.

Who did CNN ask?

Multimillionaire George Takei?

Speak for yourselves CNN, who are they asking fellow news anchors? What would CNN have said if the gas price was this high during the Trump administration? Are they saying, if you do not accept paying more for gas you are a bad American? Amazing how so many making hundreds of thousands a year or more, lecture the vast majority of Americans about how we should spend our money. This economic crisis is 100% created by the Biden regime. Americans are not okay with paying higher prices on goods, services and energy because of Biden's destructive policies.

There is no reason for us to be paying higher gas prices. What this is really about is the Democratic Party and the midterm elections. Biden moves the price of gas as high as he can, then he and others preach to the people how much better off we could be with electric cars and the electric car industry. They are taking advantage of Putin's invasion of Ukraine, to bail out Biden and artificially force gas prices higher in order to pressure Americans into buying electric cars.

And who really cares what CNN, the Communist News Network has to say, except to be the brunt of our jokes?

Today Show Reports on The All-Time High
Gas Prices and Here’s Who They Blame…

This from therightscoop.com

Gas prices are soaring and the media, while covering the spike pretty well, is putting the blame solely where we expected them to do so.

I don’t recall any mention of Joe Biden at all in this Today Show segment, which is absolutely what we predicted.

🙶 Instead, they are going with the Russian invasion of Ukraine almost solely for the gas prices soaring. No mention at all of Biden and his war on gas. They are giving him total pass.

🙶 Just think of where we’d be with the Keystone Pipeline if he hadn’t killed it well over a year ago. Just think of how much we would be producing if his administration hadn’t dramatically throttled the approval process of drilling permits on federal lands.

But none of that gets a mention because all that’s just a conservative conspiracy theory.
Biden decimated all of our gas production on his first few days in office, yet the media will never report that important bit of information. At this point Covid does not always work as well for them, so they now can switch to Ukraine and Russia and many have, as the reason for Biden's failures. The Democrats have no plans for lowering the price of fuel, so the more people applying for assistance and living off the system makes them easier to control.

Democrats and Media have pushed this war along to both distract from Biden’s collapse and breakdown in an attempt to blame inflation on Russia's actions only. Most clear thinking people know that if President Trump’s policies had been retained we would not have had any problems with oil and gas production or prices, and most of the other crisis’ would not exist, but do not attempt to inform the left or media of these facts.

What we now see as some of the problems: Open borders, inflation, gas prices, mandates and restrictions. These are also what the Democrats see as their successes. Biden will not give the word to again use our natural resources and pipelines to take us back to where we were prior to the election, he has been told by his handlers not to allow anything Trump gave us that made America great again.

So, he is buying from Russia and Venezuela, not to mention Iran, all these people hate America. We now have a controlled puppet who was installed in office via a stolen election, and we are not supposed to feel upset, angry or overwhelmed at what he has already done and may stll do to our great nation.

And now we hear from this leftist from MSNBC...

He believes we are mistaken to even think that President Donald J. Trump was and always will be superior to the person now residing in the White House.

MSNBC anchor Chuck Todd suggested that voters are wrong to believe that Russian President Vladimir Putin would not have invaded Ukraine if President Trump was still in office.

Obama - Rising Gas Prices Not My Fault

5 Biggest Whoppers In Obama's Energy Speech

Inverstors Business Daily -- The White House billed President Obama's energy policy speech as a response to mounting criticism of record high gas prices. What he delivered was a grab bag of excuses and outright falsehoods.

Obama's main message to struggling motorists was: It's not my fault, so stop whining. The speech only got worse from there, recycling excuses and myths that Obama's peddled for years. But there were some standout whoppers that deserve debunking.

"We're focused on production."

Obama has chosen almost always to limit production. He canceled leases on federal lands in Utah, suspended them in Montana, delayed them in Colorado and Utah, and canceled lease sales off the Virginia coast.

His administration also has been slow-walking permits in the Gulf of Mexico, approving far fewer while stretching out review times, according to the Greater New Orleans Gulf Permit Index. The Energy Dept. says Gulf oil output will be down 17% by the end of 2013.

"The U.S. consumes more than a fifth of the world's oil. But we only have 2% of the world's oil reserves."

Obama constantly refers to this statistic to buttress his claim that "we can't drill our way to lower gas prices." The argument goes that since the U.S. supply is limited, it won't ever make a difference to world prices.

It's bogus. New exploration and drilling technologies have uncovered vast amounts of recoverable oil.

In fact, the U.S. has a mind-boggling 1.4 trillion barrels of oil, enough to "fuel the present needs in the U.S. for around 250 years," according to the Institute for Energy Research. The problem is the government has put most of this supply off limits.

"Because of the investments we've made, the use of clean, renewable energy in this country has nearly doubled."

Production of renewable energy — biomass, wind, solar and the like — climbed just 12% between 2008 and 2011, according to the federal Energy Information Administration.

"We need to double-down on a clean energy industry that's never been more promising."

Renewable energy simply won't play an important role in the country's energy picture anytime soon, accounting for just 13% of U.S. energy production by 2035, according to the EIA. Keep reading...

Blog author's comments - The President continues his attempts to deceive concerning the rising gas prices.

In the video Obama tries to make the situation amusing, but I don't believe the majority of American people are laughing.

Last Wednesday the Senate Democrats rejected the Keystone Pipeline project and ANWR drilling.

Keystone was expected to create thousands of high paying jobs in the oil industry. The project itself would create 20,000 construction jobs. The pipeline would bring oil from Canada to refineries in the US.

Obama says no to more drilling for our own oil. He said no to the Keystone pipeline from Canada.

We are in serious trouble if he gets a second term in office.

Obama - Gas Prices, We Made Progress

Obama on gas prices: 'We have made progress'

Washington Examiner -- In a statement today, President Obama insists that under his administration, America has "reduced its reliance on foreign oil" and "increased domestic production." But at this point, there appears to be no strategy to tackle this monster political issue heading into the 2012 elections.

"(W)e have made progress, with imports of foreign oil decreasing by a million barrels a day in the last year alone," Obama said. "Our focus on increased domestic oil and gas production, currently at an eight year high, combined with the historic fuel economy standards we put in place, means that we will continue to reduce our nation’s vulnerability to the ups and downs of the global oil market."

Blog author's comments - Obama expects us to believe him. Today it’s about oil; tomorrow he’ll be telling us how much he cares about Israel.

What Obama has done is thrown away billions of dollars trying to get rid of fossil fuels. If he wanted real progress why did he lobby the Senate Democrats last week to vote against the Keystone pipeline project?

Domestic production is higher in spite of, not because of the Obama administration's policies. The higher production comes from increased drilling on private lands. Oil production on federal lands is down by 11% and natural gas down by 6%.

Gov. Daniels - Obama Wanted High Gas Prices

Governor Mitch Daniels: "Let's Give the President Credit for One Domestic Policy That Worked - He Wanted Higher Gas Prices and He Got Them"

Blog author's comments - There are a few republicans willing to speak up. The high gas prices should surprise no one. What are we going to do about it?

The Keystone pipeline from Canada cancellation was Obama catering to far-left environmentalists. Even the unions favored building the pipeline, since it would have created thousands of jobs.

Obama is trying to deflect wide spread anger for him, but rising gas prices are the only way to get him to his dream of an alternative energy America, which may happen one day, but in the distant future.

The November 6, 2012 election may be the most important election in the history of the US. If Obama wins a second term America may never recover from the damage he will do.

Obama Goes On Offensive - Gas Prices Climb

Obama goes on offensive as gasoline prices soar

AFP -- US President Barack Obama tried to head off Republican criticism over rising gasoline prices Thursday, ridiculing their responses as bumper-sticker policies designed to win an election, not to solve the problem.

Visiting the hard-hit election battleground of Florida, Obama responded to a barrage of Republican criticism that has accompanied a 13 percent increase in gasoline prices over the last year.

Accusing Republicans of trying to profit from higher prices at the pump, Obama lamented: "Some politicians always see this as a political opportunity. Only in politics do people greet bad news so enthusiastically."

"Since it's an election year, they're already dusting off their three-point plans for two dollar gas. I'll save you the suspense: Step one is drill, step two is drill, and step three is keep drilling," he said.

"Well the American people aren't stupid. You know that's not a plan -- especially since we're already drilling. It's a bumper sticker. It's not a strategy to solve our energy challenge."

Average prices currently stand at $3.61 a gallon, but the American Automobile Association has predicted they could reach $4.25 a gallon by May.

Sensing weakness, Republican presidential candidates have seized on rising prices as evidence that Obama's energy policies have failed.

White House hopefuls Mitt Romney, Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich point to Obama's opposition to both offshore drilling and the construction of a pipeline from Canada, and oil company tax breaks, as contributing to higher gas prices.

Republicans also point to the bankruptcy of solar panel firm Solyndra after it received $535 million in government loan guarantees as evidence that Obama has failed.

On Thursday, Obama was at pains to empathize with struggling consumers, while arguing that the president has little direct control over prices.

"Just like last year, the biggest thing that's causing the price of oil to rise right now is instability in the Middle East -- this time in Iran," he said.

In response, Gingrich accused Obama of making excuses. "Instead of offering a real plan to lower the cost of gasoline, President Obama offered excuses and fantasies," Gingrich said in a statement.

"Blaming instability in the Middle East for high gas prices is not leadership. Neither is promising magic future technologies that won't satisfy today's energy needs." Entire column...

Blog author's comments - The Democrats have been saying since the Carter administration that domestic production won’t solve immediate problems. That it would take 5-10 years. That was many years ago and we are now more dependent on dictators and tyrants for our oil than ever before.

The reason we have higher gas prices today is because the Democrats have done everything they can to make it impossible to drill in America.

If the government would have allowed construction of new refineries and more drilling for our own oil, we would not be as dependent on other countries for so much oil.

The Keystone pipeline from Canada which Obama did not allow would have been a secure supplier for some of the oil the US needs.

Obama - Plays Blame Game With Fuel Prices

Obama: No 'silver bullet' to bring down gas prices

The Hill - President Obama said Saturday there are no easy answers for lowering gas prices, which are hovering around $4 a gallon, and criticized politicians who push plans to immediately reduce the price of gas.

"You see people trying to grab headlines or score a few points," Obama said in his weekly address. "The truth is, there’s no silver bullet that can bring down gas prices right away."

The president laid out his own plan for controlling prices, focusing on ending price gouging but calling for an end to the $4 billion in federal subsidies for oil and gas firms. "That’s $4 billion of your money going to these companies when they’re making record profits and you’re paying near record prices at the pump. It has to stop," Obama said.

"Instead of subsidizing yesterday’s energy sources, we need to invest in tomorrow’s," he added, voicing his opposition to a proposal before Congress that would cut the government's clean energy investments by 70 percent.

Obama also pointed to a Justice Department task force launched Thursday with the sole aim of discovering fraud or manipulation in the oil markets, such as illegal trading or speculators, that may impact prices. - Continue reading > >

Blog author's comments - Does Obama keep track of what he says and the actions his regime takes? The price of gas will come down if we ramp up production of our own domestic supplies.

Unfortunately he has tied up our oil fields with no drill orders. After the BP spill he placed a moratorium on drilling off the Gulf Coast which he later lifted but would not issue permits to drill.

Obama has also placed a moratorium on drilling off the East and West coasts until 2017. He refuses to give up on 'green' technology which has not yet been developed and as a result the price of gasoline will only climb higher.

The Liar-In-Chief is now placing the blame on oil companies. His only priority is to win a second term and he will say and do whatever it takes to hold on to his power.

Obama - I Will Cut Fuel Costs & Produce Jobs

Obama Promised 5 Million Jobs in Campaign Gas Ad.
Unemployment and Gas Prices Are Up. Obama is the
Worst Jobs President Since the Great Depression

April 2008 - As Congress holds hearings on Capitol Hill, demanding to know why oil and gas companies like Exxon-Mobil and Chevron are earning billions as the price of gas creeps upward, Obama made some promises of his own on how he would cut the cost of fuel.

"Gas prices are killing folks," Obama said. "I got an email from a friend of mine; it says, just in case you're not living in the real world, being driven around by Secret Service, it just cost me $85 to fill up my tank."

Barack Obama Promised 5 Million Jobs in Campaign Gas Ad. (video)

Obama promised lower gas prices but they are up 55%.

Also 4.1 million people lost their jobs in 2009. The most job losses in a year since 1940.

Government-funded solar companies are moving to China.

Blog author's comments - Can somebody explain why Obama loaned 1 Billion dollars to Brazil for off shore oil drilling, while banning drilling in our country?

If President Obama has embraced offshore drilling in Brazil, why not drill in the U.S.A.? The land of the sort of free and the home of the heavily indebted has enormous offshore oil deposits.

It should be no surprise that gas prices are on the rise. The Democrat Party has been fighting the drilling for oil in our country for many ears.

This is why you don’t elect community organizers to the White House. They don't know what they are doing, or if they do should not be our president.

According to the Left, it doesn’t matter if you actually get results, so long as you said it well. Obama’s Arizona speech was exactly that and he didn’t mean a word of it. But because he said it well, the MSM hailed it as "Presidential" and "one of his greatest moments".
