President Trump derides his former attorney Michael Cohen, after reports say he taped conversations between himself and then-candidate Donald Trump.
Today, the president tweeted, “inconceivable that the government would break into a lawyer’s office… almost unheard of.”
He then said “even more inconceivable… that a lawyer would tape a client… totally unheard of and perhaps illegal.” He added, “the good news is that your favorite president did nothing wrong.”
This comes as The New York Times reported Cohen secretly recorded the president in 2016 when he was still the GOP nominee. The Washington Post later confirmed the FBI had obtained the conversations from the raids of Cohen’s offices.

Blog Author's Comments: I assume the recording should not have been released because of attorney/client privilege and the lawyer should not be able to, within the law, release it. Only the client can give his or her okay for it to be used for anything. But, special counsel Mueller and deputy AG Rosenstein, I must assume have given the okay for it to be handed off to someone. Mueller and Rosenstein are squeezing Cohen, this is more of the continuous game to make the President look bad. What did or did not happen with the women does not matter to most people unless it was illegal.
"Show me the man and I'll find the crime", this is the playbook that Mueller uses. Depending upon the man, this could be the criminalization of almost everything. This can also be the slogan of the DNC, MSM and modern day Intelligence Community. They have never had a crime aside from what they themselves are guilty of. This all started with the corrupt Deep State of both political parties, to stop a duly elected president of the people. This latest scam of indicting Russians who they know will never have a day in court, is also part of this ploy. Mueller & Co, will do nothing with this because they would have to present their evidence and also defend it. The seed of Russian Collusion, at least as far as the mainstream media is concerned, has grown from the ranks of the low-information audience and the Never Trumpers, who after Clinton lost, were reaching for anything to tear the President down.
So, Mueller gets a warrant signed by Rosenstein and legalized by a leftist judge to kick in the door to Cohen’s home and office for any evidence pertaining to Donald Trump, supposedly having to do with Russian collusion. They took into custody a recording made by Cohen that has nothing to do with the investigation. Then leaked it to the press, this may sum it up. Did the President sell Uranium or secrets to the Russians? Did he keep classified top secret information on an illegal server? Did he engage the FBI to spy on a presidential candidate? Cohen secretly recorded Trump without his knowledge and permission. So my understanding of the law is this would not be admissible evidence in a court of law. But, this must of have been for the court of public opinion. In case anyone actually cares, the playboy bunny has apparently already sold her story for $150,000.00 to the National Enquirer.
