In his interview that aired on a Sunday broadcast of ABC’s “20/20” with George Stephanopoulos, former FBI Director James Comey said that when Donald Trump won the election over Hillary Clinton, he questioned if the FBI had a role.
“[Trump] is now going to be the 45th president of the United States,” Stephanopoulos said to Comey. “The most stunning upset in American political history. And what part of you is thinking, I helped elect Donald Trump?”
Comey replied, “A whole lot of me was thinking, ‘Oh, my God. Did we have some role in this? Did we have some impact on the election?'”
“I don’t know the answer,” he added. “And in a way, I care about the answer. And in a way, it doesn’t matter at all. I really wasn’t making decisions based on political fortunes.”

Blog Author's Comments: Mr. Comey, 64 million decent and patriotic Americans who had enough of corruption, lies and deception, by people like you and Hillary had a role in electing president Trump. You made it obvious that Trump needed to root out the crookedness and fraudulency that was Washington. Comey is a liar who hates Donald Trump for upsetting their plans to completely destroy our country. He was corrupt by letting Hillary off the hook after laying out why she should be charged. He and his friends at the FBI and the left never understand unintended consequences.
In 5 minutes Gowdy just laid out a guilty verdict. The case for intent and gross negligence. It’s so obvious all of us could see it but Comey and the FBI could not. Under the U.S. Constitution they could convene a Grand Jury and charge Comey and Clinton with felonies.
