Blog Author's Comments: I have been against the recommendation of Jeff Sessions as our Attorney General since I first heard his name being bantered about. I said it was a mistake, there were and are some much more qualified people who should have this extremely important job. Now President Trump knows he made a mistake. I would not be disappointed if Sessions would meet with the president and offer his resignation.

President Donald Trump said Wednesday that he never would have appointed Attorney General Jeff Sessions had he known Sessions would recuse himself from the Russia investigation..

"Sessions should have never recused himself, and if he was going to recuse himself, he should have told me before he took the job and I would have picked somebody else," Trump said.

"Jeff Sessions takes the job, gets into the job, recuses himself, which frankly I think is very unfair to the president," he said. "How do you take a job and then recuse yourself? If he would have recused himself before the job, I would have said, ‘Thanks, Jeff, but I'm not going to take you.'"

"It's extremely unfair — and that's a mild word — to the president," he said.

Trump also criticized Sessions' answers during his Senate confirmation hearing. Sessions had said that he had not met with any Russian officials, despite meeting twice with Russian Ambassador to the United States Sergey Kislyak.

"Jeff Sessions gave some bad answers," Trump said. "He gave some answers that were simple questions and should have been simple answers, but they weren't."

Additional Comments: It is time for President Trump to remove Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his entire cabal of Trump deniers and liberal lawyers. What does he honestly have to lose? Mueller has no limit on the amount of taxpayer money he can spend, or where he can go into the Trump family business dealings and can take as much time as he wants to do this.

What is being done is the assembly of a huge amount of documentation for the Democrats and the leftist media to use as ammunition in the run-up to the 2020 election. They will twist, turn and lie concerning whatever they see or hear and swear it to be true, and Trump cannot sue all of them for libel. Mueller just wants to go fishing, and look at the finances' to see what is there. That has to have been illegal for generations, he needs to be specific about what he wants and why.

Whatever Mueller and his staff have gathered will eventually be leaked and used against Trump. And I do not doubt that Mueller could well write a book concerning what he has learned about the President and slant it anyway he chooses. I do not trust Mueller and never have.

This was a terrible idea from the beginning. When we were told he was an honorable man, and chosen by the DOJ to clear up the ‘Russian Collusion’ fiasco and lies against the president and Republican Party. Mueller was supposed to be looking at the so-called Russia meddling in the election. So why are there no limits on him, his staff and what can be investigated? I say cut him lose and demand everything he and his people have gathered.
