DNC Chair - We're Not Here To Create Jobs

Democratic National Committee Chair Says
Voters Do Not Elect Leaders To Create Jobs

I would say that Obama and his admiinistration have achieved their goal, of not creating jobs. They fumbled Obama's jobs bill, with two of their own joining a Republican filibuster to stop it.

(Just in case you need a reminder) Here's Wasserman Schultz from two months ago, bragging about the Democrats creating jobs.

August 2011 - "We've Really Begun To Turn Economy Around." "We're creating jobs each month in the private sector."

Blog author's comments - Debbie Wasserman Schultz is of course a hard core liberal who will say anything in an attempt to further the goals of the Democratic Party. I am at times amused by many of the foolish things she says.

Wasserman Schultz, your right, the Democrats don’t elect leaders to create jobs – mayhem yes, jobs no! Liberals don’t create new jobs just more regulations. But didn’t they say their stimulus bill would provide “Shovel ready jobs?”

Obama and the Democrats have no idea what it takes to create jobs. Many businesses will never invest to grow their companies until he is out of office. They do not trust him.

When Obama picked Wasserman Schultz to head the DNC, she said “All across America, Democratic leaders are fighting hard to create jobs and boost economic recovery. Republican forces are doing everything they can to prevent Democrats from succeeding in those goals.”

Wasserman Schultz - With one of your comments you are correct. The main goal of the GOP is to remove Obama from the White House. Only then will there be any chance for job creation and an economic recovery.

Obama Said: Creating Jobs Is Not Rocket Science

Obama: Creating jobs 'not rocket science'

Washington Examiner - Barack Obama attended a high dollar fundraiser last night after the stock market lost over 600 points in daily trading, but he didn't demonstrate the panic that struck Wall Street that day.

"Markets will go up and down, but the underlying challenges have held steady for too long," he said at an outreach event at the St. Regis Hotel.

The president told donors that he was concerned about partisan deadlock and the dysfunctional political culture in Washington.

“This is not rocket science in terms of how we can create more jobs in this country,” he said at a fundraiser where tickets cost $15,000 per family.

Blog author's comments - Here’s a question I read the other day –- Can you find anyone that voted in 2008, who didn’t vote for Obama, who would vote for him today?

The unemployment rate has taken a huge jump since Obama took office and he says creating jobs is "not rocket science." No, it’s really not rocket science. But, since this simpleton has never done anything other than agitate communities, he’s a total failure at the most basic things this country needs.

I don't believe even Jimmy Carter was as incompetent as the current president. Now we know what inexperience in leadership provides.

Even more stunning than the nonsense he says, is the fact that so many people were willing to pay $15K to see him at a fundraiser. Can you imagine – after all that’s gone on in just the last week – thinking that he’s the guy to pin your hopes and dreams on for the future?

Small Business Executives Reluctant To Hire

Little Hiring Seen by Small Business

Wall Street Journal - WASHINGTON—The U.S. labor market could stay sluggish for a while, with small-business executives reluctant to hire amid the murky economic outlook.

Almost two-thirds—64%—of small-business executives surveyed said they weren't expecting to add to their payrolls in the next year and another 12% planned to cut jobs, according to a U.S. Chamber of Commerce report to be released Monday. Just 19% said they would expand their work forces.

This comes after a Labor Department report Friday showed employers added few jobs in June, and unemployment rose to 9.2%. The bleak figures joined other data showing the recovery losing momentum in recent months, which has caused many analysts and policy makers to lower their forecasts for economic growth in the second half of the year.

More than half of the small-business executives in the June 27-30 survey cited economic uncertainty as the main reason for holding back on hiring. About a third blamed lack of sales, while just 7% pointed to problems getting credit. - Continue reading...

U.S. Payrolls Grow at Slowest Pace in Nine Months as Jobless Rate Climbs

Top Obama Advisor Says Unemployment Won't Be Key in 2012

Blog author's comments - Unemployment at 9.2%, 64% of small business execs won’t be hiring and 12% of small business execs planning cuts. This is what we get when the country votes for and elects a Socialist who’s never had a real job to be the leader of our country.

What is pathetic about Obama - he apparently believes he has done a good job and what he has done in less than three years should have no adverse effect on him in the 2012 election.

It's past time for the Republican conservatives to inform the voters what Obama and the Democrat Party have done to the economy and want to continue to do. The only way to stop what is happening is to bounce Obama and his regime out of Washington.

Economy and Unemployment - Not Obama's Fault

Obama: Don't Look At Me, It's Not My Fault

Fox News - President Obama delivered a dreary statement in the Rose Garden this morning after a dismal jobs report, which showed the US economy adding just 18,000 jobs in June, the unemployment rate spiking up to 9.2%. A year after the WH proclaimed "recovery summer,: and two years after a trillion dollar "stimulus" program, the President blamed a series of "headwinds" for what he described as a "rocky" "recovery."

Obama said Greece, natural disasters, high gas prices, state budget cuts and uncertainty about the debt ceiling were prohibiting the economy from creating more jobs, which critics called just more finger-pointing from the White House "Streamlining the patent process" and new infrastructure spending were a few solutions to the jobs crisis offered by the President this morning, leaving many economists scratching their heads.

Looking detached, Mr. Obama plodded back into the White House with his head down, without acknowledging any responsibility for the struggling economy and appearing to some critics extremely out of touch.

Blog author's comments - The only reason there is no recovery is Obama still has his job. At least he didn’t blame Bush. Obama is much worse than idiotic - he’s evil.

The arrogance of this guy knows no bounds. To stand up before us and continually tell these lies shows you what he thinks of the intelligence of the American people. I guess in his mind we are all the “useful idiots”. We must vote Obama and his regime out of Washington in 2012.

CBS Show '60 Minutes' - What a Surprise!

60 Minutes Says Unemployment is 17% - 22% in California

Update: Added video from CBS.

Blog author's comments - I have not watched the show "60 Minutes" for almost 20 years, they are usually much too liberal for me. This is why I was surprised by this video from Sunday's show.

Quite interesting that "60 Minutes" aired the show and its contents with regard to unemployment so close to the election. I doubt that the White House and the Democrats are thrilled about it.

"60 Minutes" acknowledged that US unemployment is not the 9.5% the Obama regime wants us to believe.

Today's Unemployment - The Fault of Obama

Today's Unemployment - The Fault of the Obama Administration

It seems as though each time Obama speaks to a group of voters, you will hear him utter at some time during his talk, two of his standard talking points. He must believe they exonerate him and his administration of any wrong doing with regard to the economy and high unemployment rate.

The economic and unemployment problems we now face are the direct result of the Bush administration and their failed policies.

Also - We inherited a broken economy which is the reason we have high unemployment. The 'stimulus bill' that we passed has worked, the economy is recovering, but we have much more to do to correct these problems. But, if we had not passed the 'stimulus bill' the 'great recession' we faced would now be much worse.

These are not actual quotes but this is essentially what he continues to tell the people. As most thinking folks know, the economy and unemployment are much worse since Obama and the Democrats assumed office. Businesses are not hiring because of his radical agenda which includes the Health Care bill. They also know that higher taxes are coming in 2011. They are not sure what he will do next.

Below is a chart of unemployment since 1995. The source for the unemployment figures: A spreadsheet taken from the Bureau of Labor Statistics website. Republican period: January 1995 - December 2006. Democrat period: January 2007 - June 2010.
