Super Bowl LIII

If you aren't ready for some football yet, you'd better get ready in a hurry. The NFL's biggest game of the year is on Sunday, and once 'The Star-Spangled Banner' has been sung, the commemorative coin has been flipped and the opening kickoff is in the air, Super Bowl LIII will officially be underway. The Los Angeles Rams will attempt to be the latest team to push back against the dynasty that is the New England Patriots.

Time Of Game: 6:30 EST

Place: Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta

New England Patriots

-VS-

Los Angles Rams

May the best team win...with the condition that the winning team is the New England Patriots. They have the best quarterback in the NFL Tom Brady, and the best head coach in the NFL Bill Belichick.

The New England formula, the Patriots way, is very basic. Work hard, put the team first, do your job. The fact that such a simple philosophy can be so hard to implement says a lot about the egos and selfishness so apparent in professional sports.

Hopefully by 10:00 p.m. Sunday night, the Patriots will have won their sixth Super Bowl in nine tries since 2002.

Super Bowl XLVIII

DENVER BRONCOS

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Blog author’s comments – I did not do so well two weeks ago with my choices for the winners of the AFC and NFC championship games, so today in Super Bowl 48 I will go with Denver over Seattle. I have watched every Super Bowl game since they began. Some have been mundane games and others have been very good games.

Super Bowl Sunday for many, is another national holiday. There are also many people that will watch this game who have not seen another game during the entire National Football League season. For many it is just a chance to party. The pre-game and half-time shows, along with the commercials, have at times overshadowed the game itself. It was not like this the first decade or more that the Super Bowl game has been played.
