Democrats Go For Last Minute Character Assassination Of Judge Brett Kavanaugh

The Democrats are at it again and so far they are successful in what they wanted to do. They are hoping to delay a vote on Judge Kavanaugh until after the mid-term elections, with hope they can make inroads in Congress. They have also possibly ruined Kavanaugh's career and life by creating a fake sexual harassment case against him, just like they tried to do with Clarence Thomas.

They have dug up a leftist Democrat activist, the accuser, Christine Blasey-Ford who claims that Kavanaugh assaulted her when he was in high school, 35 years ago. At least Anita Hill was somewhat credible but this accuser’s story keeps changing. If she was so traumatized and had to seek professional help one would think she would remember the simple details. Perhaps she has forgotten because it has been so long ago.

Of course, there are the usual Republicans that are happy about this. The Never/Trumpers Jeff Flake and Bob Corker are talking about voting no on Kavanaugh. Neither is running for office in 2018 because they could not get reelected. Hopefully, they will be replaced by real conservatives in the mid-terms.

The Republicans do not use these tactics when the don't get their way, lose elections, or the Democrats nominate someone? Don’t talk about Merrick Garland, because the Republicans held the Senate and McConnell was following the 'Biden' rule. We didn’t see the Republicans throwing tantrums over Kagan and Sotomayor and neither was as near qualified to be a Justice on the high court as Brett Kavanaugh.

If by chance Trump is able to nominate another justice to the Supreme Court, the Democrats and liberal followers will completely lose their minds, and be marching against the President in the streets of all major cities.

Blog Author's Additional Comments: I do not believe the accuser, Christine Blasey-Ford who claims that Kavanaugh assaulted her and who wanted, as do the Democrats, to bring this into the sun light, will appear for the hearing which is supposed to take place next Monday, September 24, between herself and Judge Kavanaugh.

The Democrats are pushing for a long involved investigation by the FBI, and - I repeat - they want to be able to push the confirmation beyond the midterm elections. Their hope is the midterms can win seats for them in Congress and that President Trump's pick for the Supreme Court will never happen.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley on Tuesday raised the possibility that next week’s high-stakes open hearing to examine the sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh could be canceled if the accuser doesn’t accept the committee’s invitation.

Grassley, R-Iowa, scheduled a hearing for Monday for Kavanaugh and accuser Christine Blasey Ford to answer questions from senators about the allegation. But Grassley said during a Tuesday radio interview that his office has reached out several times to Ford and her attorneys to discuss her allegation, but has heard nothing back.

21 Gun Controls Currently Being Pushed By Senate Democrats...

Breitbart -- Senate Democrats and their surrogates in various groups are currently pushing 21 new gun controls for law-abiding citizens.

These controls range from an all-out ban on semiautomatic firearms to regulations on single shot muzzleloaders and limits on the number of guns someone can pass to a felon.

Breitbart News outlined the first nine of these gun controls on October 11. They were:

1.Ban on Bump Stocks – Sen. Dianne Feinstein is pushing this with her Automatic Fire Prevention Act. She admits that bump stocks are an accessory—that they do not convert semiautomatics into automatics—but she wants to ban them anyway. Her bill explicitly bans any accessory that allows an increase in rate of fire in short bursts but does “not convert the semiautomatic rifle into a machine gun.”

2.Ban on Trigger Cranks – Sen. Feinstein’s bill bans trigger cranks too. Like the bump stock, trigger cranks are another novelty that gun owners can use to achieve short, rapid bursts of fire. Such cranks allow a gun owner to mimic automatic fire yet do not convert a semiautomatic gun into an automatic one.

3.Ban on Semiautomatic firearms – Sen. Feinstein voiced support for this ban during her appearance on Face the Nation, and the Washington Post pushed for such a ban two days later.

4.Implementation of Universal Background Checks – Sen. Chris Murphy used an appearance on State of the Union to stress that a bump stock ban is only the beginning for Democrats. They plan to follow that ban with the implementation of universal background checks, which means private gun sales would require a background check just like retail sales. Democrats claim these checks would save lives, yet Sen. Murphy and others ignore the fact that the Vegas attacker purchased his guns via background checks, as did so many attackers before him. The real reason Democrats want universal background checks is because such checks require a gun registry to be enforceable. Therefore, the implementation of such checks would immediately lead to one more gun control: a gun registry.

5.Ban on “Assault Weapons” – Sen. Murphy also mentioned an “assault weapons” ban, suggesting it would be next in line after background checks. The Los Angeles Times called for an “assault weapons” ban as well.

6.Ban on “High Capacity” Magazines – The Los Angeles Times also called for a ban on “high capacity” magazines, describing them as one of the most dangerous aspects of “assault weapons.” The Times points to attacks like ones on Sandy Hook, Virginia Tech, and the San Bernardino County Building as justifications for an “assault weapons” ban that contains a “high capacity” magazine ban. In so doing, the Times overlooks the fact that all three attacks—Sandy Hook, Virginia Tech, and San Bernardino—occurred in gun-free zones. This means the attackers had no threat of armed response and could take their time, reloading as often as needed. In such scenarios magazine capacity is a moot issue.

7.Opposition to Concealed Carry – Breitbart News reported that Sen. Feinstein took time to argue against concealed carry for law-abiding citizens during an appearance on Face the Nation. Speaking of concealed carry she said, “I don’t believe it’s protected by the Constitution.”

8.Opposition to National Reciprocity – Sen. Feinstein also voiced opposition to the national reciprocity legislation currently pending before Congress. She said, “Well, my opinion of that bill is it’s terrible. … [Do] we want every American to feel comfortable packing a concealed weapon around the country?”

9.Australian-style Gun Ban – The Washington Post put forward the idea in an October 9 editorial.

Numerous others have flooded in since the introduction of those original nine. The newest suggested controls include regulation on single shot muzzleloaders. In fact, Gabby Giffords gun control group suggests muzzleloaders could be the next bump stock. Her group also wants gun control on “high capacity shotguns,” binary triggers, “AK and AR style pistols,” arm braces for AR style pistols, “AR pistol blade stabilizers,” .50 caliber rifles, .50 caliber ammunition, and tracer rounds for various calibers of firearms.

Blog Author's Comments: Democrat Senator, 84 year old Dianne Feinstein, is planning to run for yet another six year term and she and her family feel quite safe with their around the clock armed body guards. Guns and gun ownership will always be her go-to issue, but with Republican Donald Trump occupying the White House, none of this is going to happen. If she cannot understand "Shall not be infringed", then she does not belong in our government.

The best gun control is using two hands. Why is that not on the list? If gun regulations worked, then Chicago would have the lowest gun crime rate, not the highest. If you notice, the left celebrates every gun control law enacted with "this is just the beginning", not "finally, we have achieved 'sensible' firearms legislation." The Democrats swear to uphold the Constitution then work to subvert it.

Blog author's comments via CNN - Joshua Boston was a Marine and was deployed to Afghanistan between the years of 2004 through 2005. Although he is no longer in the military he acknowledges that he owns gun. He says he does not believe the government needs to know what guns he owns because he believes registration would lead to confiscation. He says the laws that are in place for gun control are plenty, and adding more laws will remove a means of defense for people. 'I own the guns I own because I acknowledge mankind's shortcomings instead of pretending like they don't exist. There are evil men in this world and there just may be a time when I need to do the unthinkable to protect me or my family,' he said.

He wrote this letter to Senator Dianne Feinstein after seeing her proposed bill on a so-called 'Assault Rifle' ban to outlaw 120 specifically named firearms including certain semiautomatic rifles, handguns and shotguns.

Senator Dianne Feinstein,

I will not register my weapons should this bill be passed, as I do not believe it is the government's right to know what I own. Nor do I think it prudent to tell you what I own so that it may be taken from me by a group of people who enjoy armed protection yet decry me having the same a crime. You ma'am have overstepped a line that is not your domain. I am a Marine Corps Veteran of 8 years, and I will not have some woman who proclaims the evil of an inanimate object, yet carries one, tell me I may not have one.

I am not your subject. I am the man who keeps you free. I am not your servant. I am the person whom you serve. I am not your peasant. I am the flesh and blood of America.

I am the man who fought for my country. I am the man who learned. I am an American. You will not tell me that I must register my semi-automatic AR-15 because of the actions of some evil man.

I will not be disarmed to suit the fear that has been established by the media and your misinformation campaign against the American public.

We, the people, deserve better than you.
