Biden Quietly Extends the Federal National Emergency Declaration Related to COVID Beyond Termination Date of March 1st – Provides No End Date

Joe Biden informed Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi that he intends to extend the federal National Emergency declaration beyond its termination date in March.

🙶 By statute the State of a National Emergency expires one year after initial declaration. That meant the COVID National Emergency declaration was scheduled to end March 1st. However, the statute allows the extension if the executive office informs the legislative branch within the 90-day window prior to expiration.

Biden informed Nancy Pelosi today of his intent to extend the National Emergency. Both the House and Senate will now have to schedule a vote to support the extension Statute Here:

🙶 Section 202(d) of the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1622(d)) provides for the automatic termination of a national emergency unless, within 90 days prior to the anniversary date of its declaration, the President publishes in the Federal Register and transmits to the Congress a notice stating that the emergency is to continue in effect beyond the anniversary date. In accordance with this provision, I have sent to the Federal Register for publication the enclosed notice stating that the national emergency declared in Proclamation 9994 of March 13, 2020, beginning March 1, 2020, concerning the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, is to continue in effect beyond March 1, 2022.

There remains a need to continue this national emergency. The COVID-19 pandemic continues to cause significant risk to the public health and safety of the Nation. More than 900,000 people in this Nation have perished from the disease, and it is essential to continue to combat and respond to COVID-19 with the full capacity and capability of the Federal Government.

Therefore, I have determined that it is necessary to continue the national emergency declared in Proclamation 9994 concerning the COVID-19 pandemic.

Biden’s decision to keep the emergency going has no end date.

Many pundits have been speculating that the State of the Union would be used to declare victory over Covid, especially given the pullback we have seen in blue states these past few weeks. This could still be the case but this move casts doubt.

If the administration had intended at one point to ease restrictions, I think its natural authoritarian instincts may have been encouraged and reignited by an external globalist force, the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau. I will not watch the SOTU of an illegitimate president, I do not care what he says, but it bothers me immensely that many people refer to him as their leader.

Looking forward to seeing what, if any, response comes from the governors of Florida and Texas. The pandemic should be declared over, and further incursions on American freedom and civil rights are a crime against its people. The Democrats must be removed from our government, that is exactly what they are attempting with patriots and conservatives. What “science” was the extension based on? That of retaining power over the people until at least beyond the midterm elections.

All past presidents merely kicked the can down the road, they were reluctant and fearful to address this issue that required a President of substance to make the correct decision. The Democrats do not want secure borders, they view illegals as future Democrat voters. The President made the right conclusion to finally do what was badly needed. We do need a Wall or Barrier on our border, this is indeed a National Emergency.

President Trump is the only thing standing between America and anarchy. Congress no longer represents the American people. Obama's Border Patrol Chief Says Trump Isn't Making Up An Emergency

Former President Barack Obama’s Border Patrol chief blamed the disagreement surrounding the border wall on identity politics, during a Friday night interview with Brian Kilmeade on “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”


Mark Morgan was on Carlson’s show to discuss President Donald Trump’s decision to declare a state of emergency in order to reallocate funds toward constructing a wall along the southern border. Trump received $1.375 billion from the bill that he signed, and intends to dedicate an around $6.5 billion more from other agencies.

“Mark Morgan is the former head of the border patrol. And he’s heard the rhetoric, but he knows the reality. Mark, is the president making up an emergency?” Kilmeade asked.

“Absolutely not,” Morgan responded. “Brian, this is part of the frustration for those of us from a law enforcement, border security perspective. How many more statistics do we have to provide? How many more factually based examples do we have to provide? How many more angel families have to stand in front of some of these individuals before they finally say, ‘Yeah, okay, this is real.’ It’s just incredulous.”

“So when people say to you the drugs are coming through the port of entry, let’s use some technology to crack down there. There is no problem with drugs in the middle of the country and other areas now populated. What do you say?” Kilmeade asked.

“Well, that’s right. A couple of things you hit on, Brian, are spot on. So, first of all, look at the take now. Sixty thousand [people] are coming in a month illegally into this country. This year so far, 62 caravans of 100 or more – 13 in all of last year, 2,000 in one single day this week,” Morgan answered. “So the numbers are climbing, but it’s manufactured, right? The other thing, the other argument on in between the port of entry is an absolute false narrative. Sixty percent of the southwest border does not have infrastructure, technology and personnel.”

“Again, what it means to me is this is absolutely driven on identity politics. The experts have spoken both on ICE, both on United States border patrol and CBP and they have told Congress what they need to protect the borders for the security and safety of this country, Brian,” he continued. “And they have not just ignored it, they have discounted everything that they have said. Unfortunately, to me, I have only drawn one conclusion. It’s based on identity politics.”

Blog Author's Comments: The Democrats do not care about anything but attempting to make President Trump look bad, not only in the eyes of his base but all Americans. It is highly doubtful that any democrat congress person has ever toured the border. And it should be clear to anyone that is paying just a small amount of attention, it is now the Democrat/Communists versus American citizens.

If a member of Obama's team says it is true, then any doubt should be removed, if you could not reach your own conclusions. Obviously, the Democrats and Socialists do not really care how many of our citizens are killed by illegal invaders. If illegals were not being counted upon as future Democratic voters, the party would not care about them.

Democrats Double Down On Declaring A National Gun Confiscation Emergency

When Nancy Pelosi found out that President Trump was going to declare a national emergency to get the border wall built, she threatened that a future democratic president could declare a “gun violence” emergency and confiscate all privately owned firearms. Today, the President did indeed declare a national emergency at the border and so all of the democrats are doubling down on the idea that the next time a democrat is in the White House, they’re coming for our guns.

“That’s a national emergency,” said Pelosi of gun violence. “Why don’t you declare that an emergency, Mr. President? I wish you would. But a Democratic president can do that. A Democratic president can declare emergencies as well.”

And with that, the democrats were off to the races to establish that “gun violence” is the real national emergency. Here’s California Senator and 2020 hopeful Kamala Harris: "Declaring a national emergency over this President's vanity project is ridiculous. We don't need a wall. Instead, we should address the actual emergencies facing our country — everything from gun violence to the opioid crisis."

And Elizabeth Warren in a rare non-cultural appropriation statement said the exact same thing because democrats are incapable of independent thought. "Gun violence is an emergency. Climate change is an emergency. Our country's opioid epidemic is an emergency. Donald Trump's ridiculous wall is not an emergency."

Then there is California Rep. Eric Swalwell, who literally wants to nuke American gun owners who won’t disarm: "How many real national emergencies can you name right now? Right now I've got gun violence, healthcare/prescription drugs, the opioid crisis, climate change, voting rights, and protecting our elections from foreign influence."

As you can see, the left has laid the ground work that legal gun ownership is a national emergency. Now comes Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy to bring their devious plan together: "100 people die from guns every day. That’s a national emergency. If Trump gets away with this border emergency declaration, then a Dem President can declare a gun violence emergency and institute universal background checks and an assault weapons ban by executive action."

So, he’s promising that the next time there’s a democrat in the White House, they will take away our guns? That’s pretty much a guarantee that there will never be a democratic President of the United States again. Thanks, Murph.

Also, he’s wrong. 100 people don’t die every day from guns, 91 do and 57 of them are from suicide. There may be a mental health crisis in this country but certainly not a “gun violence” emergency.

All of this tells you exactly what the democrats are about. President Trump simply wants to construct a border wall to keep foreign invaders, killers, rapists, and drugs out of the country. The democrats’ reaction to the President trying to keep us safe is to threaten taking away our 2nd Amendment right of gun ownership. Maybe President Trump should declare the Democratic Party an national emergency because there is no other group working as hard against our safety, prosperity, and civil rights.

Blog Author's Comments: The Democrats and liberals continue to say "we don’t want to take your guns" yet now they are on record saying just that. It will not end well for them if that really is their plan. And have they forgotten that the Second Amendment of the Constitution and existing federal laws protects gun owners from people like them?

In other words, Democrats want to institute their regular agenda as a national crisis. Because, building a wall to stop foreign invaders is exactly what they do not want. How will their dependent underclass continue to grow and keep the Democratic Party a viable organization? When they come for our guns they are coming for our freedom.
