Matthews, Brokaw, Murdoch Align In
Condemning Potential GOP Effort To Derail Trump

Truth Revolt -- Is Chris Matthews suddenly a voice of reason or is he attempting to spin the narrative he believes might best suit Democrat nominee Hillary Clinton? Whichever the case, it took an MSNBC host to make the point many in the GOP establishment seem unfazed by -- that if the Party still challenges Donald Trump come convention time even if the candidate still has a substantial delegate lead, it will be thumbing its nose at Americans who came out in rain, snow and sleet to vote in the primaries. On March 2, the Hardball host said:
The American people have gotten used to picking presidential nominees in the primaries. They're used to picking the one with the most votes. That's the guy or woman who wins, the one with the most votes.

Come this summer, they all the sudden, the people who went out and voted in the snows of New Hampshire and out in Iowa when it was just as cold all went out and voted and picked, perhaps, Donald Trump as the leading candidate.

Then they're told, no, that's not how it works. It's sort of like in Iran where the mullahs get to make decisions in the end and the voters don't really matter.

It seems to me awful hard for people to buy, that democracy isn't democracy, it's the second or third guy really wins because somehow there was a coalition that went together and they ganged up on Trump and said, "Oh, we're going to pick Rubio," or "We're going to pick Cruz," but not the guy who had the most votes.

I don't think that's going to sell, and I think Trump will walk right out the door, and you'll have a three-way race.
Even former NBC Nightly News anchor and media-veteran Tom Brokaw noted that, if it comes to pass, an attempt by the establishment to stop a Trump-nomination "would be an attack on democracy."

Could Brokaw, too, be spinning because he thinks Hillary Clinton would beat Trump handily in the general election? Perhaps. Or he might just be stating the obvious -- that there are serious implications if the Party disregards the overriding will of the people.

But those are voices on the Left. Even Rupert Murdoch, founder, chair and CEO of Fox News' parent company News Corp, issued the following tweet much along the same lines, stating that if Trump indeed wishes to make peace with the establishment -- as he indicated during his Super Tuesday press conference -- then the party would be "mad not to unify."
Blog Author's Comments -- I don't trust and do not like Chris Matthews, and I wonder what brought this on from him. I feel the same about Tom Brokaw and Rupert Murdoch. Matthews has been a huge fan of Obama since his election and according to him anyone who disagrees with Obama is a racist.

But, what he is saying is correct. Will the GOP 'Establishment' disavow the will of the voters if Donald Trump happens to win the primaries and choose someone else? If this happens they will bury the Party. Trump is way more conservative than the so-called Republicans who are trying to dictate their biases on the rest of us.

These make believe conservatives don't understand that this is the last chance to prop up the Republican Party and have a very good shot at winning the presidency. As it stands now the lawmakers in the party are looking quite foolish. The GOPe don't want Ted Cruz either and I don't think he could defeat Clinton, but they spend more time bashing Donald Trump than they do Hillary Clinton.

MSM and Left Want Civility But Only From The GOP

Rush Limbaugh - Blaming Palin Was Media & Left's Test For 2012

Krauthammer Attacks Media's Bogus Call For Civility

MSNBC's Chris Matthews Displays Target and Crosshairs on Capitol

Chris Matthews on Thursday showed a graphic image of the Capitol building with a red target on it and crosshairs in the foreground. This hypocritically occurred moments before a segment on "Hardball" about violent rhetoric wherein he complained about "over-the-top references to guns all the time by people like Sarah Palin".

Above is a screen grab from the opening minutes of Matthews show. Didn't we just listen day and night that this symbolism is certainly not acceptable? If there is another shooting within the next few months will Matthews be held responsible?

Blog author's comments - Rush Limbaugh has it right. Now is not the time for the GOP to cower in the corner. But, that is exactly what they did while Palin was being falsely accused of the responsibility for the shootings in Tucson. Sarah Palin did not hide but defended herself the way I would have expected her to do.

The left-wingers view Sarah Palin as a threat to them. Where were all the Republicans who should have been speaking out in her defense about what the MSM and the Dems were doing to her and their party?

So who is the next target of the Democrat Party and media? The Democrats and the State Run Media will do and use whatever they can to assure the election of Barack Hussein Obama in 2012. It is the task of the conservatives in the Republican Party to see that this does not happen. The country cannot survive two terms of Obama as President.

After listening to the videos and viewing the screen shot from the left-winger, Chris Matthew's, I also agree with Krauthammer on the Left's asking for civility. The behavior of the media the past two weeks would be laughable if it weren't so serious. They immorally tried to pin the shootings on Sarah Palin, conservative talkers, and the Tea Party.
