MSNBC: Not Just Malevolent, But Also Really Stupid...

When I first saw a screenshot of this tweet, I assumed it was a Photoshop. But no; Lawrence O’Donnell is actually for real:

Wow, that means if you have an AR-15, you can wait until after the other person shoots before shooting back. You can go all around and shoot everyone before anyone can shoot you. Because your bullets are faster. No wonder all the armies of the world use AR-15s.

And if you shoot me first and you've only got one handgun, I should be fast enough to jump out of the way and dodge your slow bullet, because I have an AR-15 which shoots a bullet 3 times faster than yours, you won't be able to dodge mine.

Well, the ammo which would typically be a .223 from an AR-15 will produce a significantly higher muzzle velocity, than say, an ordinary sidearm with 9mm or S&W .40 caliber, but concerning yourself about the velocity of the round is idiotic in the extreme. Larry, thank you for passing along what could be a life saving tip. Ah yes, the always pained "Lawrence." Desperately wants to be taken seriously.

Can you just imagine the level of stupidity that would occur if Lawrence O’Donnell and Rachel Maddow co-hosted a show on MSNBC? I enjoy it when so-called intelligent journalists like Mr. O'Donnell proclaim to be brilliant and we should treat them as such. Then they open their mouths and prove to us otherwise.

Allen West interviewed on MSNBC's Last Word. Lawrence O'Donnell starts to grill West but Allen West doesn't retreat or apologize for any of his statements concerning Obama.

Blog author's comments - The more I see of (retired Lieutenant Colonel) Rep. Allen West, the more respect I have for him. Let's hope that many of the new faces in the House and Senate will follow his example.

Perhaps the freshman members of Congress can stop the 'same old same' which we have seen for years from so many members of the GOP. They continue to use the same playbook which put the Republican Party in the position it found itself prior to the midterm election. The work to recover has just begun and they are in need of more conservative leadership to solidify the party.

We realize that most of what the Republicans send to the Senate will be stopped by the Senate because it is controlled by the Democrats with help from a few RINO's.

With the control of the House the conservatives are able to halt some of the out of control spending and attempt to begin to repair some of the damage which was done by the Obama regime.

Now the big question is who does the GOP run against Obama in 2012? This will have to be decided very soon. I have said before, now is not the time for the GOP to tread water. They have to convince the majority of the public that they are worthy of their vote in the 2012 election and are committed to doing what is best for the country.
