Joe Biden Wants Janet Napolitano on SCOTUS

Politico -- Vice President Joe Biden has plans for the next career move of outgoing Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, saying he’d like to see her on the nation’s highest court.

“I think Janet should be in the Supreme Court of the United States,” he said Friday morning at her farewell ceremony, according to video from CSPAN.

The room burst into loud applause, with a crowd that included Attorney General Eric Holder and other Cabinet members, past and present.

But Napolitano is headed west instead, where she will take over as the president of the University of California system, the first woman to take the helm. She announced she was stepping down in July.

Biden gave a laudatory speech on Napolitano’s last day, and Holder also gave introductory remarks. Singing Napolitano’s praises, Biden thanked her for “getting us through a pretty rough patch” and said California “should be incredibly grateful. They have no idea what’s coming.”

“It’s not hyperbole: The nation’s safer for your service,” Biden said. “You made it look easy. I kind of feel badly for your successor.”

The White House has not named a replacement for Napolitano.

The former governor of Arizona has practiced law and clerked for an appellate judge, though she has never served as a judge.

She was an original member of President Barack Obama’s Cabinet.
Blog author's comments - One has to consider the source, this came from the mouth and brain of Biden. Napolitano as a Supreme Court Justice...if I thought there was a real chance of that happening I would surely have nightmares.

Another member of Obama's administration who would be even more frightening would be Attorney General Eric Holder. I have seen his name mentioned for the high court more than once. Elections do have consequences.

Hopefully in the remaining three plus years Obama is in office he will not have the chance to appoint another member of the SCOTUS. But, I do feel that before Obama's term is over Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg will retire. If that occurs at least three of the liberal Justices would be young and could be on the high court for 25 to 30 years...not good.

Napolitano - Obama The Most Serious On Borders

Napolitano: Obama's taken 'most serious'
actions to secure border in 'history'

Daily Caller -- Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano praised President Barack Obama's administration for taking the “most serious” and “sustained actions” to secure the border in U.S. history.

“The Obama administration has undertaken the most serious and sustained actions to secure our borders in our nation’s history. And it is clear from every measure we currently have that this approach is working,” she said in her second annual “State of America’s Homeland Security” address Monday at the National Press Club.

Her remarks come after the Obama administration announced that it will begin reducing the number of National Guard troops on the U.S.-Mexico border. Keep reading...

Blog author's comments - Napolitano says what Obama tells her to say. Through Obama and Eric Holder's efforts, guns were put into the hands of criminals in Mexico via operation 'Fast and Furious'. At least we found out about it, unfortunately by one of our citizens and many in Mexico being killed.

Napolitano no doubt agreed with Obama and Holder for suing and stopping Arizona and other states that passed laws against illegal immigration. The states are attempting to make their borders more secure. The Department of Justice should be doing this with the existing Federal laws.

Attorney General Eric Holder said a patchwork of state immigration laws like the one signed by Arizona Governor Brewer will 'create more problems that it solves.'While the federal government "welcomes cooperative efforts by states and localities" to rigorously enforce immigration laws, the Constitution "forbids" Arizona from replacing federal policy "with its own state-specific immigration policy,"

Obama and Holder don't want to stop the flow of illegals. If Obama wins a second term he will push hard to give them citizenship which would allow them to vote. Obama sees illegals as voters for the Democratic Party.

Napolitano - Screening Muslim Men Not Good Logic

Napolitano: Concentrating Terrorist Screening Efforts
on Muslim Men Under 35 is "Not Good Logic"

Blog author's comments - Is this woman as dense as she appears? Is anyone surprised that Obama gave her the job as the Director of Homeland Security? Unbelievable!

The Obama administration does not want to be accused of racism so they will not allow profiling, even though most terrorist attacks are by Muslims. But, groping grandma and little kids, now that's good logic according to the rules set by Napolitano and the Obama regime.

Arizona was lucky to get Napolitano out of their governor’s chair. Unfortunately this was also very bad for the rest of the country.

TSA to Block "Controversial Opinion" on the Web

(CBS News)
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is blocking certain websites from the federal agency's computers, including halting access by staffers to any Internet pages that contain a "controversial opinion," according to an internal email obtained by CBS News.

The email was sent to all TSA employees from the Office of Information Technology on Friday afternoon.

It states that as of July 1, TSA employees will no longer be allowed to access five categories of websites that have been deemed "inappropriate for government access."

The categories include:
-Chat/Messaging
- Controversial opinion
- Criminal activity
- Extreme violence (including cartoon violence) and gruesome content
- Gaming

The email does not specify how the TSA will determine if a website expresses a "controversial opinion."

There is also no explanation as to why controversial opinions are being blocked, although the email stated that some of the restricted websites violate the Employee Responsibilities and Conduct policy.

Blog author comment - The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Janet Napolitano aka 'Big Sis' issued new censorship rules to the TSA late last Friday afternoon, hoping her edict would slip through unnoticed over the long holiday weekend.

How will they determine just what is "controversial opinion",hmm? I think that most of us know the answer to that question. Any site that is critical of the Obama administration will be "controversial". Napolitano was told to do this by 'The Master' of us all, Barack Hussein Obama.

Well, if any of the TSA employees would by chance, stumble onto this lowly site, it would be off limits to them, too "controversial".
