Tuesday Florida Governor Ron DeSantis responded to the Biden administration’s political effort to stop Floridians from receiving COVID-19 treatment.
Late yesterday evening, without notice, the Biden FDA blocked monoclonal antibody treatments by revoking the emergency use authorization for the therapeutic. Today thousands of Floridians wake up to hear they are no longer eligible for treatment. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is furious.
FLORIDA – Governor Ron DeSantis is demanding the Biden Administration reverse its sudden and reckless decision to revoke emergency use authorization (EUA) for Regeneron and Eli Lilly monoclonal antibody treatments. This abrupt and unilateral action by the Biden Administration will prevent access to lifesaving treatments for Floridians and Americans.

Somehow the fraudulent election of 2020 must be repaired and the illegitimate intruder removed from the White House. The people have suffered enough. He and his administration are going to get more people killed and ruin so many more lives.
In Florida, Democratic representative Frederica Wilson says people should be prosecuted for making fun of members of Congress online. I will tread lightly in fear of retribution from my representative class; I'm not interested in getting the Andy Ngo treatment from Democratic goon squads, whether couched as Antifa or Bill Mueller's fair and impartial staff of headhunters.
First I need statistics from Wilson's district. Population: 693,086. Race: 37.7% White, 56.2% Black, 1.9% Asian. And then there is the big one: unemployment: 16%.
Hey, voters of the 24th Florida district, do you know what the national unemployment rate is for the rest of the nation?
The U.S. unemployment rate stood at 3.6 percent in May 2019.
I am not allowed to criticize your elected representative, so I will speak to you, the voters of Florida's 24th congressional district.
What kind of morons are you?
You persist in sending this highly qualified and results-oriented woman to speak for you and work on your behalf in the Congress while your unemployment numbers are four times the national average.
How stupid are you?
Don't you want jobs? Don't you want to move up the economic ladder?
Why do you persist in dragging the whole country down to your lower than low statistical level? Have you no pride, no shame, no sense of duty to the rest of the country?
If not for you, the national unemployment rate might stand at 3.4 percent. But no, you have to elect this highly intelligent and diligent woman to represent your best interests.
And she is great — who could argue with an unemployment rate of 16% in a nation that averages 3.6%? I might, but I'm not allowed to.
Voters of Florida's 24th district, please do not criticize the single rasher of bacon your highly competent member of congress brings home to improve your well-being and living conditions; it may soon be against the law.
It is apparent that you don't believe you deserve better than the brilliant and well spoken Frederica Wilson.

I have to imagine it is difficult work for Frederica, to keep her district a 16% unemployment crap hole. Yet, her voters have proven to be even more ignorant than she is. The district has over 56% African Americans and 16% are unemployed, are they enjoying their lives?
Instead of encouraging self reliance, education, hard work and entrepreneurship, to have her constituents climb up the economic ladder, Wilson and her kind, reprimand and do their best to stop any black that is conservative leaning. So now that the blacks have Black Representation, these people should ask themselves what good did it do them and has it proven to be any better than when they had a Black President?

Politio44 -- Good-government advocates have sued the state of Florida, alleging its purge of non-citizens from voter rolls has swept up too many legally-registered African American and Latino voters and is undermining laws that ensure fair access to the ballot box.
The state chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union, the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights and the local office of the international law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP filed a federal lawsuit in Tampa, claiming that the state Bureau of Elections is breaking the law in its ongoing purge, designed to scrub voter registration lists ahead of the state’s August congressional primary.
Florida officials, according to the suit, are using outdated information and a badly-flawed process to conduct the purge, according to the suit. And the procedure, the advocates contend, requires lawful citizens and already legally registered voters to prove their citizenship or lose their ability to vote.
“Florida is flouting federal laws designed to protect voters from precisely this kind of action,” Bob Kengle, co-director, Voting Rights Project, Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, said in a statement issued Friday. “The right of every citizen to have their voice heard at the ballot box is being threatened. The Lawyers’ Committee will continue to tirelessly fight any effort to make full-fledged Americans second-class citizens.”[...]
The Justice Department last month formally asked Florida to justify the move, warning that it might violate provisions in the Voting Rights Act and the National Voter Registration Act. In their response earlier this week, Florida officials insist the scrub is legal under both statutes, and would have happened much earlier in the election cycle if the Department of Homeland Security had allowed them to use a more expansive federal database for the comparison.

Liberals just hate to see their practice of trying to sway election results hampered. The law is clear, if you are not a citizen you can’t vote - it also requires that you be alive, seems fairly straight forward to me.
Has the ACLU ever done anything in favor of America? This is not a trick question. I have never heard of them doing anything that indicated a respect for America.
The Department of Homeland Security is also involved. (see link above) Florida Gov. Rick Scott said he will sue the DHS. Florida Secretary of State Ken Detzner produced the lawsuit, filed in Washington, D.C. district court on Monday, shortly after, along with a statement.
“For nearly a year, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has failed to meet its legal obligation to provide us the information necessary to identify and remove ineligible voters from Florida’s voter rolls,” Detzner said. “We can’t let the federal government delay our efforts to uphold the integrity of Florida elections any longer."
