Pelosi stated she was herewith announcing an “official impeachment inquiry“. Everything remains ‘as is’, albeit with enhanced optics and new titles for the narrative engineers.
Essentially she announced House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler will continue doing what House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler was already doing; only now House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler, will start doing what he was doing with a new lingo.
There is not one thing different from today than yesterday, except the optics and new language to help the media hype something that doesn’t exist. Speaker Pelosi did not announce her intent to hold a house vote to authorize an impeachment investigation; she didn’t even mention the word vote at all. In essence what Speaker Pelosi has done is just satiate her base of Democrats with the fancy optics of something that doesn’t exist.
What’s the difference from Nadler’s “impeachment inquiry” yesterday, and Pelosi’s “official impeachment inquiry” today?… Nothing.

Blog Author's Comments: Today we may see the transcript of the call to Ukraine, will that change any of the Democrats minds, absolutely not. What Nancy Pelosi has provided is more deception. The Democrats have done nothing positive for this country, their only goal being the removal of a duly elected president. They know they cannot defeat the President at the ballot box and must remove him another way, so they play their impeachment game.
It is extremely sad what they have done to a man who ran for the office of president and defeated their queen Hillary Clinton. Unfortunately the complicit media is not stating the facts, they never do. But, their know-nothing base believes this is an official 'articles of impeachment' without a vote.
Washington Democrats have been searching for ways to reverse their 2016 election defeat since before President Trump was even inaugurated.
The result has been a two-and-a-half-year impeachment parade in search of a rationale. When investigations by Special Counsel Mueller and the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence deflated their breathless accusations of a campaign conspiracy with Russia, Democrats have simply shifted to new arguments for their predetermined conclusion.
Speaker Pelosi’s much-publicized efforts to restrain her far-left conference have finally crumbled. House Democrats cannot help themselves. Instead of working together across party lines on legislation to help American families and strengthen our nation, they will descend even deeper into their obsession with relitigating the 2016 election. This simply confirms that House Democrats’ priority is not making life better for the American people but their nearly three-year-old fixation on impeachment.
