John McCain on Face the Nation - Obamacare Vote

John McCain - Senate Should Vote on Repeal of Obamacare

Senator John McCain says there should be a vote on the repeal of ObamaCare in the Senate. Critics say it is a "waste of time" since Democrats control the Senate.

McCain said it is "not a waste of time," because the American people spoke in the November midterm elections and they want a vote on the repeal of Obamacare.

Blog author's comments - John McCain aka McRINO is right about this one, the Senate should vote. If Harry Reid is sure that a Senate vote on Obamacare would go down to defeat why not vote Harry?

You don't suppose that Reid is a bit worried that some of the Democrats in the Senate could possibly change their minds and vote to overturn this law?

It could be that many of the Senate Dems are looking to the election in 2012 and are worried about their jobs.

They have voted for Obamacare to make it law over the objection of the majority of the people. If they vote for it again the voters will remember this when many of them are up for reelection in 2012.

This would also help the GOP when campaigning for the election. Of course it is wishful thinking, but there may be quite a few of the Senate Democrats who would change their vote to protect their jobs. Let them vote Harry!
