Americans Don't Hold Back on Biden, Harris, and Pelosi

After Joe Biden’s disastrous European trip, where the White House had to walk back three of the comments he made that could seriously affect the war in Ukraine, there’s more talk than ever of the 25th Amendment and his cognitive issues.

The comments — that we would respond “in kind” if Russia committed a chemical attack, that American soldiers would see people standing against the tanks when they got “there” (seemingly referencing Ukraine), and that Putin cannot remain in power — were walked back by the White House. But then Biden claimed, on Monday, that no such comments occurred. He got confused even though he had a cheat sheet of questions and answers titled “Tough Putin Q&A Talking Points” for the briefing. And he made a fourth remark to Fox’s Peter Doocy that was supposed to clean up his second comment — that he meant the American troops were meeting with Ukrainian troops they were training. That raised more issues and the White House then had to clean up the clean-up remark.

After seeing all this, what must Americans think?

They are not reassured by any of these scrambling efforts by the White House.

🙶 71 percent of Americans “express low confidence in the president’s ability to deal with the war in Ukraine.” That’s an incredibly high number and shows Democrats have little confidence in him as well. It’s hard to have any confidence when he keeps making serious mistakes and when such mistakes can drag us into a war.

Now, most Americans — 58 percent — believe that Biden should take a cognitive test and release the results and 55 percent think that he isn’t going to last out his term according to a new survey from McLaughlin & Associates.

He wasn’t the only one who Americans had questions about. The poll of 1000 voters also wanted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Ca) to be tested as well. Indeed, even more voters want Pelosi to take the test and release the results — 61 percent. Both of them should long since have retired and Americans know it.

Not only that, but neither Biden nor Kamala Harris fared well with the question of who was more incompetent.

🙶 [T]he survey found that it’s a near toss-up, with Biden at 15%, Harris at 11%, and “Both” at 33%. McLaughlin wrote in his analysis for Newsmax, “This means six in 10 voters view either our president, the vice president or both as incompetent. This is a very disturbing result at a time when inflation is rampant and war is threatening the world.”

Unfortunately, Democratic politicians were more concerned about power than about doing what was in the best interests of the nation which is why we’re in this predicament now. But if there’s any wonder how they would do up against President Donald Trump in 2024, should he run, the answer is not well.

🙶 In potential 2024 matchups for president, it would be an electoral landslide for Trump from big to bigger. President Trump leads President Biden 49% to 46%. He leads Vice President Kamala Harris 50% to 42%. Former President Trump leads Hillary Clinton 51% to 41%.

We have seen and witnessed enough, it's obvious the Democrats cheated, committed fraud to put Biden in the White House. Now Karma has reared its head and even the left must see what Biden has done to our country and much of the world. Too bad most of America has to suffer for what has happened, but the more pain they endure the longer it will take the voters to forget.

At this point in time, anyone still supporting Democrats should definitely take a cognitive test. Sadly, many on left including the media, know the Obama administration is truly running the government and they approve of the destruction that is happening. President Trump should be the GOP nominee in 2024. He has earned it, he is morally owed it, and his election would be a much needed repudiation against the travesty that has occurred to put the mumbling nutter where he is.

Nancy Pelosi Discusses Military Strategy

In an apparent attempt to distract us from the mess Democrats have been making of the country, the media has been stampeding us toward a potentially nuclear war over a local conflict that does not directly concern us. Pew Research reports on its alarming success:

🙶 [M]ost Americans (62%) say they would oppose the U.S. “taking military action even if it risks a nuclear conflict with Russia.” About a third (35%) of Americans say they would favor military action in this scenario.

That is, one in three thinks a nuclear holocaust would be a good idea. As the 24/7 media hype continues, this number could climb.

At a time like this, it would be reassuring to have reliable leadership.

🙶 The Commander in Chief is Joe Biden, who has always been conspicuously incompetent and who at this point in his decline from dumb to demented is barely sentient. Second is Kamala Harris, a living testament to the foolishness of Affirmative Action.

If both of them are removed due to gross incompetence — as they should be — next in line to be Commander in Chief is 81-year-old Nancy Pelosi of San Francisco. In her favor, her IQ may be higher than Biden’s and Harris’s combined. On the other hand:

🙶 Pelosi says she is not a military strategist. But she has been a politician since 1987. If this represents her public speaking skills, imagine what her Commander in Chief skills would be like.

She would still be an improvement on Biden or Harris though.

So will stop at nothing to hang on to their power, even calling for a no-fly zone conducted with American forces.

It is difficult to comprehend that about 1/3rd of our population as stated in the poll, are more than happy to risk themselves and their families, for a country Ukraine, which is not our fight. These people are suicidality stupid. It is the Biden administration's policies fueling inflation while the country is being pushed closer to a "shooting war" with Russia after politicians "controlled" Americans' lives during the coronavirus pandemic. Now members of both parties continue to say insane things about the ongoing war and what America should do. Apparently many of these people do want us in a war with Russia.

Pelosi based her decision on “sovereign immunity.” Pelosi and Democrats know if they release the 14,000 hours of footage from security cameras on January 6 it will blow apart their narrative. The records include a cell phone video video of the shooting and an audio of a brief police interview of the shooter, Lt. Michael Byrd. In October, Judicial Watch released records,showing that multiple officers claimed they didn’t see a weapon in Babbitt’s hand before Byrd shot her, and that Byrd was visibly distraught afterward. One officer attested that he didn’t hear any verbal commands before Byrd shot Babbitt.

Judicial Watch is filing another lawsuit in response to Pelosi’s attempt to keep her lies about setting up innocent Trump supporters secret.

One man committed suicide because of the actions and charges against him. Four more Trump supporters were killed on that day.

Pelosi doesn’t care. She has no concern for the Americans rotting in prisons without trial. She has no concern about the future of this nation.

It is way past time to consider that Pelosi and her gang wanted mayhem on January 6th so that they could blame Trump, and that orders to allow and even help the peaceful protesters into the Capitol building came from Pelosi working with the police and FBI. Jim Jordan Just Evicerated Democrats For Their ‘Obvious’ Plot To Illegally Prevent Donald Trump From Running In 2024

When Democrats start getting sneaky rather than just hammering the “racist” drum, you know they’re scared. Creativity and perfidy aren’t foreign to them, but, as socialists, they tend to prefer to take the lazy way out.

Now, Rep. Jim Jordan, one of the staunchest conservatives in the House of Reps, is calling them out and getting sneaky in their attempt to kneecap President Trump before his widely expected 2024 run.

🙶 Specifically, Rep. Jordan blasted the otherwise pointless January 6th Commission as nothing more than a “political operation” meant to take down Trump.

To begin his criticism and frame his discussion of the perfidious committee, one that RINO Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are “serving” on, Jordan first said:

🙶 There’s been subpoenas issued to 11 individuals, 11 American citizens who asked the government permission on an application to hold the Trump rally.

The government granted it and now the January 6 committee petitions them to ask them questions about exercising their First Amendment right to assemble.

And why would they subpoena me? I didn’t do anything wrong — I talked to the president. I talk to the president all the time. I just think that’s — you know where I’m at on this commission — this is all about going after President Trump. That seems obvious.”

It’s pretending that there’s a possible explanation for the witch hunt other than pure power politics that’s his mistake, but, still it’s a reasonably good depiction of what’s going on and why it’s a problem.

But it was after that first complaint that Jordan really drove the knife in and exposes the committee as meant purely as an attempt to take down Trump, saying:

🙶 everyone in the country sees this as a political operation. This is designed to get after President Trump. Because they don’t want him to run again.”

Jordan isn’t the only Republican to expose the January 6th Committee as an attempt to take down Trump. As I reported in Trending Politics, Rep. Matt Gaetz had this to say about the January 6th Committee’s purpose being to stop Trump from running:

🙶 Disqualifying potential candidates is the newest and most dangerous iteration of cancel culture. I believe the January 6th committee is going to try to do it regarding Donald Trump.

I believe some woke activists in North Carolina are trying to do it right now in a very important test case regarding [first-term North Carolina Republican Rep.] Madison Cawthorn."

So far, the well-traveled path of the January 6 committee is to serve up and gaslight opportunity for criminal process to [Attorney General] Merrick Garland.”

As background, the 14th Amendment contains the “disqualification clause,” which disqualifies anyone who has supported an “insurrection” against the United States from running for public office.

That’s what they’re up to. The Democrats are scared of Trump, scared that he’ll blast whatever unlikable socialist they put up to smithereens and win in 2024. So, rather than come up with a strategy to defeat him, they’re trying to disqualify him from running, as both Jordan and Gaetz point out.

Pelosi and crew tried to impeach the president on two occasions along party lines. The Democrats and Barack Obama enlisted the FBI, CIA, NSA, literally all of America’s intelligence agencies and the mainstream media, along with a totally fake ‘Russian’ dossier as evidence of wrong doing.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi appointed eight lawmakers to her panel, including two members of the GOP, known Trump haters Rep. Adam Kinzinger, R-Ill and Rep. Other conservative members of the Republican Party asked to be placed on the committee/witch hunt and queen Pelosi declined.

Rush Limbaugh warned America that Democrats were done with elections. They were tired of having to try and convince Americans of the benefits of higher taxes, open borders, weak defense, anti-American – pro-China trade deals, etc. And this is what has transpired.

Now after the fraudulent steal of the 2020 election and the placement of the pathetic puppet Joe Biden in the White House, we are witnessing the worst overall outcome to befall America. Because he is the least qualified person to ever hold this office.

So now the Jan 6th ‘select committee’ will lump all of their so called evidence together and submit it to the AG Merrick Garland and have him tell America that Donald J. Report: Democrats Seek to Disqualify Trump from 2024 Campaign amid Resurgence

Democrats worried about Donald Trump’s resurgence in 2024 are reportedly seeking to disqualify him from mounting a comeback.

While Trump’s polling numbers have regained momentum, a dozen Democrats are fearing Trump’s presumable intention to mount a 2024 campaign to retake the White House, the Hill reported.

Among those Democrats reportedly seeking to deprive Trump of eligibility are reportedly Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD), Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY), Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), and Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN).

The Democrats have reportedly sought advice on how to leverage Section 3 of the 14 Amendment, which states:

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President… who, having previously taken an oath… shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Reports indicate the Democrats are focusing on the words “insurrection or rebellion,” tied to January 6, to disqualify Trump from seeking office.

Harvard Law School constitutional expert Laurence Tribe told the Hill a lawsuit seeking to ban Trump from ballots would “stand a good chance of success,” he said. The Hill reported:

According to Tribe, if lawsuits arose over Trump’s eligibility in 2024, the outcome of that litigation would likely hinge on whether a neutral fact-finder setup by Congress had previously determined that Trump’s role in the Jan. 6 attack triggered Section 3 of the 14th Amendment.

Whether a push for Trump’s disqualification under the 14th Amendment gains wider support or more legislative traction may turn on what the Jan. 6 House panel ultimately reveals about his role.

However, such disqualification would demand evidence that Trump committed “insurrection or rebellion.” Thus far, Democrats have failed to produce qualifying evidence.

Democrats’ effort to disqualify Trump from mounting a 2024 campaign comes as the former president is surging in the polls.

A December Center for American Greatness poll revealed Trump is leading Biden by eight percentage points (49-41 percent).

When pollsters asked respondents about who Republicans favor in the 2024 primary, Trump leads by 58 points.

Moreover, a USA Today/Suffolk University poll released on Tuesday showed 58% of Republicans say Biden wasn’t legitimately elected.

Now they not only seek to disqualify Trump, along with anyone who is a conservative, and sought to overturn the theft of the election. This is why the left insists it was an insurrection. And they thought Jan 6th was an insurrection, If they shove this through I am quite sure that they will actually see one. Joe Biden Won Nothing...

Biden won nothing, let’s be clear about that. Anyone with an ounce of intelligence figured that out the moment they woke the next morning and realized five states had stopped counting in the middle of the night with President Trump in the lead comfortably and then in the morning Biden was ahead in all those states. Let’s face it, Biden is in office because of one reason, Republicans would not stand up and demand answers regarding the many irregularities that were brought to light. The January 6 sham investigation is just another repeat of the Russia Collusion Hoax. This so-called investigation should again have been stopped the moment Adam Schiff was found to have tampered with evidence (text messages) because it was clear that democrats had mounted another baseless witch hunt. If you want to get to the truth, investigate Pelosi and members of the Capital police department along with members of the FBI and you will find that she and her thugs planned this all along.

White House reporters have also relentlessly attacked President Trump for calling the Coronavirus the “Chinese virus.”

On Tuesday on CNN, Nancy Pelosi said that she was going to push for federally forced vote by mail in the 2020 election in the next round of coronavirus aid. The election is seven months away.

Via the RNC — The Democrats’ plan for federally forced nationwide vote by mail, advocated for by the likes of Elizabeth Warren, where states would send a ballot to every registered voter, including inactive voters, creates a massive opportunity for voter fraud.

Election procedures should be handled at the state level, not by Nancy Pelosi. And we trust states to be able to figure out what is best for the health of their people while ensuring ballot security. 17 Democrats Pledge To Block Nancy Pelosi's Bid For Speaker...

Seventeen House Democrats will pledge to oppose Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) bid for speaker of the House, which may block her attempt to lead the House of Representatives.

House Democrats sent a letter to their colleagues, pledging to block Pelosi’s election in the Democratic Caucus and floor votes for speaker. The message arises two weeks after Democrats gained a majority in the House for the first time in eight years.

“We promised to change the status quo, and we intend to deliver on that promise,” the Democrats wrote to House Democrats. “Therefore, we are committed to voting for new leadership in both our Caucus meeting and on the House floor.”

“Our majority came on the backs of candidates who said that they would support new leadership because voters in hard-won districts, and across the country, want to see real change in Washington,” the insurgent Democrats added.

Since Democrats seized control of the House, Pelosi has remained to lead the House as the next speaker. However, a new wing of newly elected Democrats has voiced concerns, suggesting a new generation of Democrats should lead the House.

Currently, Democrats hold a 232-seat majority in the House, meaning that Pelosi can only afford to lose 14 Democrats if Republicans vote for Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) for speaker. If the 17 Democrats vote against Pelosi on the floor and no other members vote present, she will not have the votes to become speaker.[…]

Pelosi has not taken the challenge lightly. The California Democrat has dangled out key endorsements from powerful advocacy groups, hosted dinners, floated committee assignments, proposed the creation of selection committees, and reminded the caucus of her fundraising ability. In the interview with Rolling Stone, Pelosi was asked what margin she believes she needed to win to become speaker of the House, bringing up sexism in the Republican Party.

“I think some of it is a little bit on the sexist side – although I wouldn’t normally say that. Except it’s like, really? Has anyone asked whatshisname, the one who’s the head of Senate?” Pelosi asked.

Pelosi’s aide, Jorge Aguilar, who was sitting next to her, then reminded her of the Kentucky Republicans name, “McConnell,” Aguilar said to Pelosi.

“McConnell. I mean he’s got the lowest numbers of anybody in the world,” she said. “Have you ever gone up to him and said, ‘How much longer do you think you’ll stay in this job?’ Nobody ever went up to Harry Reid and said that. Nobody ever says that to anybody except a woman. But it’s a thing.”

Pelosi has been confident in believing she will become the next speaker of the House if Democrats took back the majority in the November midterms, but has been met with opposition from her own party.

Pelosi: Democrats Might Be Too Busy To Attend Netanyahu Speech

Truth Revolt -- House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said no one should use the term "boycott," Democrats simply might be too busy to attend Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu's speech before Congress next month.

In her weekly press conference Thursday, the Democrat House leader claimed there'd be no official Democrat-organized "boycott," but suggested that Netanyahu should probably not expect a packed house on the left:

"I don't think anybody should use the word 'boycott,'" Pelosi told reporters. "When these heads of state come, people are here doing their work, they're trying to pass legislation, they're meeting with their constituents and the rest. It's not a high-priority item for them."

When Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) announced that he invited the Israeli leader to address a joint session of Congress in March about the threat posed by Iran, the Obama administration and Democrats were outraged, citing a break with protocol and perceiving the move as a deliberate attempt to undermine the president's negotiations with Iran. The pushback has led to some on the left publicly stating they will not attend the speech. The National Journal reports:

"At least two Democrats have now confirmed publicly that they won't attend. Reps. John Lewis and G.K. Butterfield both said Thursday they would skip the speech, according to the Associated Press. "I think it's an affront to the president and the State Department what the speaker did," Lewis told AP, while Butterfield said he was "very disappointed the speaker would cause such a ruckus" with the invite."

John Boehner inviting Netanyahu to speak to Congress apparently upset Obama so much that he may have told his members of Congress not to attend the speech. If so, too bad, they may learn something if they attend and listen to the Prime Minister. Many of them would probably be in attendance if Louis Farrakhan was speaking. If what Pelosi said happens and the Democrats in Congress do not attend the talk by Netanyahu, then the GOP members of Congress should not show up for Obama's next SOTU address which is usually worthless anyway.

George Washington Wanted Obamacare, Pelosi Says

Daily Caller -- Democratic leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi emerged into the sunlight April 1 to applaud a rush of sign-ups for Obamacare, and immediately described it as the long-sought goal of Gen. George Washington and the nation’s Founding Fathers in 1787.

“It is really so heart warming for those of us who worked so hard [to make sure] many more people in our country would have access to healthcare,” she told reporters at the stakeout position just outside the West Wing portico.

“There are those critics, bumps in the road, but they’ve only been turbulence. They have not been an obstacle to the American people having healthier life that our founders wanted for them,” she said

Those founders wanted “life — a healthier life — liberty and the freedom to pursue their happiness, not [be] job-locked, but having benefits that having health-care policies that are portable, they could be self-employed, be a photographer — they could start their own business, they could change jobs, they could reach their aspirations,” she declared.

“And isn’t that a wonderful thing for a society and for an economy?” she added.

In contrast, the GOP’s House leader, Speaker John Boehner, called for the law’s repeal.

“The president’s health care law continues to wreak havoc on American families, small businesses and our economy, and as I’ve said many times, the problem was never just about the website – it’s the whole law,” he said in a March 31 statement.

“Millions of Americans are seeing their premiums rise, not the lower prices the president promised. Many small businesses are afraid to hire new workers, instead cutting hours and dropping health coverage for existing employees. Many Americans can no longer see their family doctor, despite the pledge no one would lose access to their physician. Seniors are feeling the impact, losing their Medicare Advantage plans the president promised they could keep. And taxpayers are being forced to pick up an unaffordable tab,” he said.

Pelosi's Play For Women In Midterm Elections

Politico -- House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is trying to make the midterm elections all about women.

Armed with Democratic polling, the California Democrat has for months been touting a “women’s economic agenda” in more than two dozen events across the country, with more planned soon.

The agenda is “good politics if it changes the minds [of] our colleagues,” Pelosi told POLITICO in an interview. “What are elections about? To raise the awareness of issues.”

The strategy is aimed squarely at a demographic Democrats need to win: women — especially single women who tend to vote for them, and who often stay home during midterm elections. Getting women to the ballot box in higher numbers may be the only hope for Pelosi, who last wielded the speaker’s gavel in 2010, and who most political observers believe is a long shot — at the very best — in 2014 to reclaim it.

In a bid to win the House majority and retain the Senate, national Democrats seem intent on remaking the midterm electorate to resemble the one that came out to support President Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012. Traditionally, turnout in midterm elections has declined steeply.

Observers say it’s an uphill slog for congressional Democrats, who would need to reverse a historical trend going back to 1832 — Andrew Jackson was president — as the last time the midterms saw more voters than a presidential contest.

“History is against them,” said Michael McDonald, associate professor of government and politics at George Mason University who has studied turnout trends. “You can never say never… but I think the evidence is still against the Democrats on this.”

There’s no question the Democratic agenda is an extension of the “war on women” narrative that Democrats have been using to slam Republicans, quite effectively, in recent elections. But now, it’s been broadened to include economic issues that Democrats argue Republicans have been ignoring.[...]

Republicans, for their part, aren’t convinced the tactics being employed by Pelosi or other Democratic leaders will have any benefit come Election Day. GOP leaders look at the polling on Obamacare, as well as Obama’s own weakness on economic issues, and the traditional “six-year itch” facing incumbent presidents, and they see a big opportunity to expand their majority.

“This is clearly a defensive maneuver by Democrats since they are losing support from women who are feeling firsthand the devastating effects of Obamacare,” said Liesl Hickey, executive director of the National Republican Congressional Committee.

Pelosi: Obamacare Will Be 'Glorious'

Washington Times -- House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi on Monday defended Obamacare amid fellow Democrats’ concerns, saying that while the politics may be tricky right now, eventually having voted for the health care law will be a boon.

“We’ll ride this out,” the California Democrat said on a conference call with reporters.

Some Democrats, particularly in the Senate, are worried about facing voters having backed the health law, which has seen a rocky rollout and is costing millions of Americans their health plans — even as it is aided millions of others to sign up or get on their parents’ plans.

“It’s worth the trouble, it’s going to be a glorious thing,” Mrs. Pelosi said.

Still, she said when it comes to voters, she believes they will not have the health law at the front of their minds when they head to the polls less than a year from now for midterm congressional elections.

She signaled that Democrats are likely to reprise the income inequality message President Obama used successfully against GOP nominee Mitt Romney last year.

Pelosi: I Want To "Say Every Chance I Get How Proud We Are Of" Obamcare

Politico -- As Obamacare continues to come under bipartisan attack, Nancy Pelosi offered a full-throated praise of the law, saying she wished it would’ve gone further.

The House minority leader, speaking to reporters Wednesday morning, said she wants to “say every chance I get how proud we are of” Obamacare.

“It was a heavy lift to pass,” Pelosi said of the 2010 law, which she helped write and shepherd through the House. “I myself would’ve preferred single payer or public option, but this was a compromise, this is a compromise. But it does many of the things that we would’ve done under a public option. So we have a plan that is named affordable. That’s a very important word. Affordable. Because no matter what people say about whether they like their plan or not, their plan was not going to be their plan. Everybody’s premiums were going up.”

Pelosi’s defense came as Health and Human Secretary Kathleen Sebelius was testifying about the law’s glitches to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.

House Republicans are not only seizing on the flawed website – which the Obama administration says they will fix – but also that some Americans appear to be getting kicked off their current insurance plans, despite promises from President Barack Obama that that wouldn’t happen. Pelosi said that represents a small portion of Americans, who shop for insurance on the individual market.

Pelosi has no worries about her own healthcare, she is a multi-millionaire, so she doesn't even need the government subsidized health plan she has. This is why I have always been against halting the 'Individual Mandate' until 2015. I want many of the voters to see how Obamacare will impact their lives. Pelosi On Defunding ACA: 'One Of The Most Intentional Acts Of Brutality'

CNS News -- In a speech from the House floor on Friday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) accused House Republicans of committing an act of “brutality” in pushing through a continuing resolution (CR) that will fund the rest of the federal government after Sept. 30 but will defund Obamacare.

“Either you don’t know what you are doing or this is one of the most intentional acts of brutality that you have cooked up with stiff competition for that honor. It cuts billions of dollars again I say, from the National Institutes of Health, delaying important research and denying medical breakthroughs for future generations,” Pelosi said speaking on the House floor.

Shortly after Pelosi spoke, the House voted 230 to 189 to approve the CR that defunds Obamacare. Because the current legislation funding the federal government expires on Sept. 30 (the last day of the federal fiscal year), Congress must enact a new law to allow the administration to spend money after that date. Article 1, Section 9, Clause 7 of the Constitution says: "No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law." For a bill authorizing spending from the Treasury to become law, it must be approved by the House of Representatives, and the Senate, and signed by the president.

The CR approved by the Republican-controlled House today would authorize the administration to spend money on virtually all existing government programs--except Obamacare. Conservatives have called on Republicans in the House to pass such a CR as a way to stop the full implementation Obamacare, which otherwise will take place on January 1.

In addition to calling this CR an act of "brutality," Pelosi also called it “a wolf in wolf’s clothing.”

“It is a wolf in wolf’s clothing. The underlying bill to shut down government--the CR--is reason enough to object to it, because that bill will cost at least a million jobs in the course of next year, will cost a million jobs,” she said.

Nancy, it is a "wolf in sheep's clothing", which describes what the 'Affordable Care Act' is. The consensus being there isn't anything affordable about it, it is a financial 'train wreck.' Many of the semi-literate citizens who bought the lie of the ACA when it was first proposed no longer feel it will be of benefit to them. Obama's plan when he took office was to grow the government and that is what he has been successful in doing.

In reality the defunding of the 'Affordable Care Act' will not stop it. It is sadly the law as the SCOTUS ruled...with the help of Chief Justice John Roberts, and it will remain the law for now and wreak the greatest health care system ever. Pelosi used the word 'brutality' when describing the House Republicans voting to defund Obamacare. This word could well describe the way Obama has governed since he has been in office. If Pelosi is so supportive of Obamacare then she and her fellow Democrats should request the same healthcare plan.

What concerns me is that in recent polls I have seen...the majority of the people who see what the ACA will do are against it. But if there is a government shutdown, Obama and the liberal media will paint the Republican Party as uncaring and evil which could possibly have a large effect on the outcome of the 2014 election. It will be a disaster if the Democratic Party regains control of the House for the last two years of Obama's term.

Nancy Pelosi: I Don't Want To Be Speaker Again, 'That's Not My Thing'

Huffington Post -- House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) told National Journal she's not looking to fill the role of House Speaker again anytime soon.

When asked by reporter Ben Terris if she'd like to be House Speaker again, Pelosi was quick to reject the idea.

"No, that's not my thing. I did that," Pelosi said.

But not everyone feels the same as Pelosi. President Barack Obama said in April 2013 it would be "whole lot easier to govern" with Pelosi as House Speaker.

"My job is to make sure we move the country forward, and I think we can best do that if Nancy Pelosi is speaker of the House once again," Obama said during a fundraiser.

Pelosi has criticized current House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), saying in May he'd be called "the weakest speaker in history" if "he were a woman."
