Senator Kennedy Stumps Supreme
Court Nominee with One Question

The following from townhall.com

As Tuesday's Supreme Court confirmation hearing dragged into the evening hours, Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) raised a simple question about when constitutional protections for life — or even just life itself — begins.

"When does life begin, in your opinion," Senator Kennedy asked Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson for starters.

"Senator... um... I don't... know," Judge Jackson replied, followed by an uneasy, awkward laugh.

"Do you have a belief?" Kennedy pressed."

"I have, um, personal religious and otherwise beliefs that have nothing to do with the law in terms of when life begins," Jackson responded.

"Do you have a personal belief though about when life begins?" Kennedy probed.

"I have a religious view that I set aside when I am ruling on cases," Jackson evaded again.

Senator Kennedy pushed further on the point, asking Judge Jackson an important follow-up, "When does equal protection of the laws attach to a human being?"

Senator Kennedy pushed further on the point, asking Judge Jackson an important follow-up, "When does equal protection of the laws attach to a human being?"

🙶 "Well Senator, um... I believe that the Supreme Court... um... actually I, I actually don't know the answer to that question — I'm sorry — I don't," Judge Jackson responded, again with an ill-timed grin on her face as her initially confident answer turned to another know-nothing response.

🙶 How Senate Judiciary Democrats and Judge Jackson's "sherpa" — former Senator Doug Jones (D-AL) — apparently failed to prepare her to answer questions relating to the debate over life displays either arrogance that Jackson's answers don't matter to the outcome of the confirmation vote or ignorance that such questions might arise.

With the Supreme Court set to rule in the near future on one of the most significant challenges to Roe v. Wade in a generation and the issue of life being a long-running priority for Republicans in the Senate, it is absurd to think Judge Jackson's team would assume questions on the topic wouldn't arrive. Yet, it doesn't seem Jackson has given the issue much thought.
Under no circumstances should a person who holds beliefs like Jackson ever be allowed to sit on the Supreme Court. The Democrats (Biden/Obama etc.) are really very sick people. But what should we expect when Biden arbitrarily bars 99% of the qualified judges from consideration because he wants his nominee to have a specific color and genitalia. Odds are good that he would have gotten a better judge if he had just drawn a name from a hat.

Fake news will continue to point out her positives and tell us that the Republican Party is vicious to attack Jackson because she really is well qualified. Perhaps in time it will become clear who is actually running the puppet show at the White House.

NBC's Todd Asks if Trump Has 'Blood on his Hands.' Mark Levin Goes Off!

I posted on this Sunday. Chuck Todd is a despicable human being, pretending to be a 'journalist', but is actually a propagandist for the Democratic Party.

Devin Nunes: Can't Unplug Entire
Economy and Expect it to go Back to Normal

The longer America is held hostage by the government and Coronavirus, the longer it will take for the economy to rebound. As much as I trust the President, I do not believe the economy will automatically rebound to the pre-coronavirus period. I think it will be a long trek back to anything close to what we had in a flourishing economy.

ESPN Loses $1 Billion, More Layoffs Coming...

Truth Revolt -- It’s going to be a very unhappy holiday season for employees at ESPN as reports indicate more layoffs are coming between now and Christmas after massive losses to the anti-Trump sports network.

Somewhere between 60 and 100 employees are slated for the chopping block through the end of the year which represents $80 million in salaries ESPN is trying to salvage to offset an almost $1 billion budget shortfall.

ESPN has been struggling for a while as more and more viewers ditch their cable and satellite subscriptions for streaming services. That amounts to over 13 million lost subscriptions over the last six years. In 2015, ESPN fired 300 employees. And yet, ever since Donald Trump burst onto the political scene, personalities at the network have injected more political rhetoric into sports reporting, which in turn has alienated even more viewers.

It doesn’t appear that the network has learned any lessons, namely that average Americans like to unwind with some politics-free sporting events. But this is what happens when you put Colin Kaepernick on a pedestal and ignore the wishes of your subscribers.
Blog Author's Comments: Good, we do not need ESPN; we do need President Donald Trump. The consequences of supporting Colin Kaepernick have them dazed with denial and hate, and the sooner the network dies the better. What could be more obvious, ESPN keeps injecting more and more politics into their sports coverage and more and more people are changing the channel, cause and effect. Perhaps, they should begin cutting the most "liberal" members of their staff and see if the trends change. But, that would mean the management would have to go first.

The column states that 100 people represent $80 million? How much are they actually paying these people a year? If this is true - which I highly doubt - it will be extremely difficult for those who lose their jobs to find another making what ESPN had paid them. This is why when you are employed by a business as politically corrupt as ESPN has become, even in spite of its appeal to some viewers, you should be concerned the runaway train is possibly going to lead to the demise of your employment with them. The people who caused this certainly didn't have all of the employee’s best interests in mind, never mind that of the business.
