College Offers Course On How To
Remove President Trump From Office

Colleges aren't even pretending to be anything but indoctrination factories anymore. Case in point: San Diego State University and its course "Trump: Impeachment, Removal, or Conviction?" Did any college ever present an equivalent course during the entire eight years of the Barack Obama presidency?

What can students expect in this one-credit course? Just what you would expect:
Focus will be on the two constitutional grounds: impeachment and removal (25th Amendment), and the possible charges of the independent counsel, the powers of the president, a history of the creation of that office and the comparison of divine right and rule of law leadership, presidential impeachments, including Nixon's de facto impeachment, practically limitless grounds for impeachment, presidential immunity from indictment, and grounds for impeachment, removal, or indictment covering: conflict of interests, foreign emoluments, climate change, racism, religious bias, improper influence, nepotism, and a host of crimes, including conspiracy, false statements, and obstruction of justice.
In lieu of a textbook, students are required to read the 2017 book The Case for Impeachment by Professor Allan J. Lichtman of American University. The book description claims that Lichtman lays out, "in clear, nonpartisan terms," [riiiight] the reasons Congress could remove Trump from office: "his ties to Russia before and after the election, the complicated financial conflicts of interest at home and abroad, and his abuse of executive authority."

This is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard, and I spend my days on the internet.

Blog Author's Comments: One problem is, everything in the book has been debunked. There is no Russia connection, no obstruction of justice or any other claim from the book. The only crime is students getting ripped off for a class that is 100% progressive fantasy. So they will study Nixon (Not Impeached) but not Clinton (Impeached)? Selling college courses to exploit TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) won't be a psychiatric illness for now. But when it comes time for needing excuses and a defense from prosecution, TDS will be repackaged as a legitimate medical condition so as to attract leniency from the courts.

It becomes more difficult to understand the lack of common sense so many College Administrators have and why they allow such foolish expenditures and lack of respect for the cost to students, parents, and government funds and grants being spent on such subjects. This is happening nationwide in both private and public colleges. I have no doubt there are a huge amount of administrators, professors and instructors that lean that far to the left. If I had the free time and lived in the area, I just might enroll in this class and audit it, just to disrupt it with facts and reality.
