So Who Is 'Presidential'? Donald J. Trump, Of Course...

American Thinker -- For the last several years, if you disagreed with President Obama or the Democrat agenda on immigration, gay marriage, gender bathroom rights, climate change, higher taxes, more regulations, you could be called xenophobic, sexist, racist, homophobic, and stupid.

Or to put it in brief form, as Hillary Clinton did, "irredeemable" and "deplorable."

If you dared disagreed with anything in the climate change agenda, you were called "a denier," and the public was told that you shouldn't be listened to.

Members of the Tea Party were compared to domestic terrorists.

And these days, if you dare try to fix the rapidly collapsing Obamacare, you are said to want people to die.

It has been shown that CNN and other media outlets have been willing to just make stuff up to go after Trump just to improve their ratings. Most positive things President Trump has done on energy, regulations, immigration, NATO, trade, and the Veterans Administration are virtually ignored. The New York Times intentionally targeted former Alaska governor Sarah Palin through false news reports after a congressman was shot.

Morning Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski have compared President Trump to Stalin and Hitler.

But Trump tweeted some negative stuff out about Joe and Mika, and the media decided that that needed massive coverage, and it is Trump who is described as "unpresidential."

We Americans know what incivility is. Trump's tweets don't even measure up to what we Americans have been through.

Blog Author's Comments: I think to the Left, being "Presidential" is all about the optics and the narrative. They do not seem to recognize hard work, long hours and results. They do, however, call out a good man who tells the truth. How many times have we seen the media attack Trump over something he said which later turns out to be true? But, the same people will say nothing while the deceivers and hustlers call Trump the most vicious things and want to fake outrage when Trump responds one time in the same language.

Being a "presidential" Republican means to the left, being insulted on a daily basis and not defending yourself. I look back on the election of Donald Trump and can only smile. I don't think the tweets about Mika and Joe were necessary as anyone with a brain wouldn't watch them anyway. But I sure don't fault Trump for not taking it lying down. The media has been and is against all things Republican/Conservative. For years they have cowed Republicans/Conservatives with their non-stop bias. Finally, someone - Donald Trump - has taken a stand and the media just doesn't know what to do.

Rubio, Bush, Kasich, and probably even Cruz, would have wilted under the onslaught and been afraid to do anything but cower and hope the next day the media would treat them better. The next day, the media, empowered by the cowering would just continue and ramp up the rhetoric. Not Trump. He hits back. And I am all for it. The free pass for the media has to end. Hit them and hit them hard. I watched snippets of the tripe Mika and Joe continuously spewed about Donald Trump and they have nothing to complain about.

Nothing like a little balance on the public stage instead of the one-sided 24/7 assault the media has gotten away with. Every day with Trump is a good day for me. He makes people squirm and uncomfortable; especially those that have had the field for far too long. And the far left-wing media such as CNN and MSNBC attempt to outdo each other in their war for ratings using the president as their target. All of the mainstream media are the same, just another arm of the Democratic Party and liberal hate groups.
