Weighs In On Paul Ryan's Comments
"I am not ready to support Speaker Ryan's agenda. Perhaps in the future we can work together and come to an agreement about what is best for the American people. They have been treated so badly for so long that it is about time for politicians to put them first!"
Donald J. Trump
Blog Author's Comments -- Paul Ryan didn’t want to be Speaker, so he claimed. He wanted to be sure his family time wasn’t reduced. It really is too bad that he took the job; he is as bad if not worse than John Boehner. I don't believe he fully understood what being the Speaker of the House entailed. His job now is to help unify the party and the presumptive nominee and other members of the party. He is doing just the opposite.
It is up to the GOP leaders to go to Cruz, Kasich and Rubio and ask them to endorse and turn over their delegates to Trump in a show of unity. I have heard that Cruz is contacting delegates, if he is doing this he undermines the good of the country. A so-called Godly man would stand by his suspended campaign decision, not hold grudges and seek to obstruct. Until he declares that he supports Trump and asks his delegates to do the same, he will remain known as 'Lyin’ Ted' because he may not have truly suspended, and if so he lied to everyone.
Hannity and Gingrich both took Ryan to task and he deserved it. Ryan said he wants to support Trump and thinks eventually he will which is code talk for the ‘Establishment’ intends to remake and mold Trump into what they want and he’ll change his ways, especially on amnesty and the Wall. This is total bullshit! Donald Trump is a deal maker and his own man, the GOP is not going to remake Trump. He is not going to be someone who does what the party tells him to do. His authenticity is what has gotten him this far and he should and will continue as he goes on to defeat Hillary Clinton.
