Obama tripled the deficit his first year with the failed Obama-Pelosi-Reid stimulus plan.

In Obama’s second year the deficit topped a trillion dollars again.

The Obama deficit this year may reach $1.29 trillion.

Blog author's comments - Obama as the President should have a budget plan. He does not. He wants to continue to spend money we do not have. The Democrats have not passed a spending budget in 807days. By law they are supposed to pass a budget every year.

They won't pass or even present a budget to the American people because they know it will not be acceptable. They do not want the voters to see how much and where they are spending the taxpayer's money.

The lack of taxes didn't cause the problem. We do not have the deficit we have because we don't tax the American people enough. This is entirely a spending problem. No other president has ever brought us anywhere near anything like this, and yet he blames it on the Republicans! More lies from Obama.

If by chance Obama should win a second term his spending will not stop if he is allowed to continue with his agenda and policies for the country.

The GOP winning the White House is of upmost importance in 2012. But what must also be accomplished is retaining control of the House and winning a majority in the Senate.

The election of 2012 is the most important election in the history of the United States.
