Was she attempting a one-upmanship to her competition in the party Cory Booker? Neither she or Booker had any respect for the process whatsoever. Lindsey Graham said "this is being compared to a circus", well I have to defend the circus, their animals are well behaved.
Even though not much was learned about the next judge who will take a seat on the high court, we did learn what the Leftist party has become and will never change their far leftist course to oblivion. The liberal Senators made a sham of the entire process. The Democrats had no legitimate argument to put forth. It is amazing how now, they are concerned about emails, but when two-time loser Hillary Clinton supposedly deleted hers, neither the Left or the FBI were concerned. Brett Kavanaugh showed all what an excellent Supreme Court Justice he will be, having to sit through the Democrat Party charade of a confirmation hearing.
The Democrats can't stop Kavanaugh from being a Supreme Court justice. After their insanity was shown, no one in their right mind would vote for them. From what I have seen with them and their the rude questioning, the attempts at insinuating comments, or gotcha moments, they are definitely the enemy of the people. It was a great learning experience as to who they really are. Most of their questions to the judge were only to figure out if he would rule in their favor or if they were able to find a way to make President Trump look bad. It was a public performance of mediocrity.
Donald Trump needs to drive home Trey Gowdy's talking points and many more, during the next two debates when he has the attention of the American people who are most likely to vote. The fact that this is still an issue and had not been dealt with a long time ago, tells me and many others who have been paying attention, that the justice system and current Justice Department, as it is now run by the Democrats, is an absolute farce.
Blog Author's Comments -- Congressman Trey Gowdy (R-SC) would probably be my choice for Attorney General if Donald J. Trump should win the presidency. He is a very bright no nonsense to the point person, who would prosecute and bring cases to court that deserve to be heard. I don't believe he could ever stoop as low as the current administration, as they are allowing Clinton to escape prosecution for her obvious crimes. What we have now is Obama's puppet Attorney General, Loretta Lynch who does exactly what he tells her to do. Hillary Clinton has already said if she is elected, Lynch will remain in her current position as AG.
The FBI Director James Comey has lost any credibility that he once had, because of all the evidence that was presented he did not recommend prosecution of Clinton. This is why November 8th is so important. The next president can replace many people or allow them to stay, depending on who is elected. They will add at least one judge to the Supreme Court and probably three. And if Hillary wins all of this will go away and she can do whatever she wants. She will allow many more illegals into our country and eventually give them citizenship so the can vote for the Democrats.
If this happens the Republican Party will never again elect another president to office. I would think that those who read this realize just how important it is to vote for Donald Trump if we want to retain the rights we currently have. Trump has to stick to the issues, ignore the lawless media and get his message out as he did when he was campaigning for the nomination. There is only a short time before the most important election our country has ever had. We cannot botch it, we have to achieve what the country desperately needs.

Breitbart -- On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” Representative Trey Gowdy (R-SC) reacted to a report that the FBI gave immunity to Paul Combetta, the computer specialist who deleted Democratic presidential nominee former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s emails, by stating that if Combetta was given transaction immunity, it would be like giving the triggerman in a robbery immunity, and “it looks like they gave immunity to the very person you would most want to prosecute, which is the person who destroyed official public records after there was a subpoena and after there was preservation order.”
Gowdy said, “[I]f the FBI and Department of Justice gave this witness transactional immunity, it is tantamount to giving the triggerman immunity in a robbery case. … But it looks like they gave immunity to the very person you would most want to prosecute, which is the person who destroyed official public records after there was a subpoena and after there was preservation order.”
He added, “The devil’s in the chronology. … Keep in mind, the story broke about her email, and then there was a preservation order, and then there was a subpoena, and then there was her press conference, which has been thoroughly and totally debunked, all of it was demonstrably false, and then there was a conference call between David Kendall, Cheryl Mills and Platte River. And then emails that had been in existence for five years. Emails that he’s known about, at least since December of 2014, he decides to delete, sua sponte just all on his own. And that defies logic why some techie in Colorado would, despite a subpoena, despite a preservation order, but after a conference called with David Kendall and Cheryl Mills, decide on his own, that he is going to destroy public records. And then you grant this person immunity, which means, perhaps that he cannot be prosecuted. … We need to ask the FBI what kind of immunity did you give, and why did you give it to the triggerman, why did you give it to the person who actually destroyed government documents?”
Gowdy further stated that there was “an effort to obstruct justice.” And that part of the way intent could be proven in the case against Clinton “is the destruction of evidence, the consciousness of guilt, the multiple false explanations for you did something, which are legion in this case, from Secretary Clinton and others. Even this witness can’t get his story straight.”

It looks to me, and should appear to anyone else paying attention, that Obama and the Attorney General, Loretta Lynch have told FBI Director Comey that he is not to obstruct the plan to have Clinton win the election. As we have learned over the years, our laws are for some, but not for others. It seems as if the FBI is now an arm of Obama for the destruction of America. And to make sure Hillary Clinton will be the next president. This is so obvious considering what Hillary Clinton has so far gotten away with.
David Kendall has been Bill and Hillary Clinton's lawyer for more than 20 years and apparently will do anything they ask him to do. Cheryl Mills is former State Department Chief of Staff. And now she does what she has to do to protect Hillary Clinton. After the conference call from Kendall and Mills, Paul Combetta, the computer specialist used the software 'Bleach Bit' to clean Hillary's server. So now the FBI gives him immunity. With Obama's backing of Clinton they will do whatever it takes to move her size XL pants suits into the White House.

Those people who want Clinton elected president, so that we could have our first woman president, seem to have learned absolutely nothing from the current disaster of choosing a president on the basics of demographics and symbolism. Case in point, Barack Hussein Obama, the first black president and the worst president in the history of our country.
Only three questions needed for Comey 1) Were You present at the hearing? 2) Was Crooked Hillary Clinton under Oath to tell the truth, the whole truth? If not, why not? 3) Was the session recorded with transcripts? If not, why not? The questioning of Comey would be great if it meant a damn thing. Because, you know what all of this really means? It means that Clinton is now off the hook with regard to what she illegally did with her home server and emails while she was Secretary of State.
So now the entire planet realizes unequivocally that Hillary is an incompetent liar and incompetent leader. Her life of deception in order to make herself more powerful, wealthy and important is coming back to haunt her. She is reaping what she has sown. She can claim no outstanding qualifications or accomplishments. What has got to happen now is the so-called leaders of the Republican Party have to get their asses in gear and put all their efforts in seeing to it that Donald Trump is the GOP's nominee and the next president of our country. If the GOP does not win in 2016 they will never put another president in the White House.
Truth Revolt -- Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) joined Wednesday's House debate against President Obama's executive actions granting legal status to millions of illegal aliens.
In his 2:40 floor speech Gowdy implored his fellow Congressmen to use the power of the purse to stop the president's unilateral actions:
“President Obama announced one of the largest extra-constitutional power-grabs ever by a chief executive. He declared unilaterally that almost five million undocumented aliens will receive deferred action under some new-fangled definition of prosecutorial discretion, Madam Speaker. Not only that, not only escaping consequences, he has decided to bestow benefits such as work authorization and immigration benefits.”
“This, Madam Speaker, despite the fact that the very same president, over twenty different times, said he lacked the power to do what he just did. And he repeatedly said he is not a king. Now, Madam Speaker, his position may have changed, after the election I hasten to add, but the Constitution has not. That document is clear, time-tested, and true. And it says that this body passes laws and it is the responsibility of the chief executive, Madam Speaker, to make sure that those laws are faithfully enforced.”

Blog author's comments - This was another good speech by Trey Gowdy on the House floor. An open speech in the House calling out other members to regain their rightful place in government would indicate that he is also working behind the scenes on them to get on board. The Obama supporters are no doubt beginning to hate Gowdy as much as they do Ted Cruz in the Senate. Too bad we don't have more like Trey Gowdy in the House; it would be a start to overcome the current Republican establishment that now rules the Republican side of the House. Gowdy, in my opinion, is one of the most trusted Representatives the GOP has.
The Blaze -- WASHINGTON (TheBlaze/AP) — Ignoring President Barack Obama’s veto threat, the House voted on Wednesday for a bill that would expedite congressional lawsuits against the chief executive for failure to enforce federal laws.
The vote was 233-181 in the Republican-led House as GOP lawmakers excoriated Obama for multiple changes to his 4-year-old health care law, steps he’s taken to allow young immigrants to remain in the United States and the administration’s resistance to defend the federal law banning gay marriage.
Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., sponsor of the ENFORCE the Law Act, delivered a fiery speech and read a series of statements by Obama when he was an Illinois senator in which he warned of the encroachment of the executive on the powers of the other branches of government.
“How does going from being a senator to a president rewrite the Constitution?” Gowdy asked. “What’s different from when he was a senator? Mr. Speaker, I don’t think there’s an amendment to the Constitution that I’ve missed. I try to keep up with those with regularity.”
Gowdy went on to argue that “process matters” in law enforcement, noting that evidence gathered with a legitimate search warrant is thrown out if an officer so much as accidentally checks the wrong box on the application.
“Even though he was well-intended, even though he had good motivations, even though he got the evidence — because process matters,” he added.
“We all swore an allegiance to the same document that the president swears allegiance to, to faithfully execute the law,” Gowdy continued. “If a president does not faithfully execute the law… what are our remedies?”
He then argued that Congress should do exactly what then-Sen. Obama suggested before he was president of the United States: “To go to the Supreme Court and have the Supreme Court say once and for all: ‘We don’t pass suggestions in this body. … We don’t pass ideas — we pass laws. And we expect them to be faithfully executed.”
Blog author’s comments – We certainly could use a few more Republicans in Congress like Trey Gowdy. Think about it... how far have we fallen that the House needs to pass a law to force the president to do his job, and then for the president to threaten to veto it? The sad part of this is that Obama is sitting in the Oval Office, knowing what was said and he doesn't care, because he will never be held accountable for what he has done, and the main stream media never question him on anything.

Fox News -- Before Lois Lerner, director of the IRS division that singled out conservative groups was dismissed from the hearing by committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) objected, saying since Lerner testified by making an opening statement, she would have to stay and answer the lawmakers' questions.
"You don't get to tell your side of the story and then not be subjected to cross-examination. That's not the way it works. She waived her right to Fifth Amendment privilege by issuing an opening statement. She ought to stand here and answer our questions," said Gowdy to some applause in the crowd.

Blog author's comments - I am disappointed in Darrell Issa. She should have been made to sit there and to respond, in one way or another, to a series of questions. It seems absurd that she should be able to say what she wants, then invoke the 5th Amendment to avoid answering any questions after she made her statement. I don't expect that any actual blame for the IRS scandal will be placed on Lois Lerner or that she will suffer any consequences. She has already shielded herself by saying it was the fault of low-level employees. But, I do not believe they acted on their own.

Lois Lerner, who heads the IRS unit that oversees tax-exempt groups, said organizations that included the words "tea party" or "patriot" in their applications for tax-exempt status were singled out for additional reviews.[...]
Lerner said the practice, initiated by low-level workers [...} was wrong. "It was an error in judgment, and it was not appropriate, but that's what they did," Lerner told reporters. She declined to talk about how many employees were involved and whether there would be disciplinary action. "I think they were insensitive, or less sensitive than they should have been."[...]
Lerner said she had never discussed the issue with Treasury or White House officials and could not say whether they knew of the problems before her apology. She said her focus had been on fixing the problem.
"You know my friend Allen West said the race card was the last card in the deck. I think former Speaker Pelosi has opened up a new deck and has found the 2 of clubs. I could not believe it when I heard her saying that. Is that all you have to come back with?" Rep. Gowdy said on FOX News tonight.
"Is that the best you can come up with, is that we got together in this grand scheme to suppress votes and I'm sure she didn't say southern states but that's what she meant," Gowdy said.
"It's really beneath the office of a member of Congress to say something that outrageous and the fact that she was once the Speaker is mind numbing. I honestly, and I have heard her a lot in my 16 years as a prosecutor, I couldn't believe the words coming out of her mouth. But keep in mind, Greta, this is the same woman who said she could have arrested Karl Rove any day she wanted. So I don't know what was wrong with her yesterday or today or whenever she said that, but I would schedule an appointment with my doctor if she thinks that we are doing this to suppress votes this fall. That is mind-numbingly stupid," he said. Blog author's comments - Trey Gowdy, a GOP representative said aloud what everybody on the right should have been thinking when they heard Pelosi. Her comments were made in a desperate attempt to cover for Eric Holder. I did not hear her address the question of Fast and Furious or the border agent who was killed because of the Obama administration's scheme to damage our Second Amendment rights.
I certainly do agree with Rep. Gowdy's opinion of Nancy Pelosi’s character. What also bothers me is what this says about the voters who keep putting her and her kind in office.
