To 'Fall Like Dominoes' Facing Trump Populist Insurgency
One year after the fateful 2016 presidential election, the Republican establishment continues to “fall like dominoes” to populist pressure from President Donald Trump’s base that wants to enact the president’s agenda.
When running for president, President Donald Trump promised to drain the swamp, repeal and replace Obamacare, cut taxes, and fund a southern border wall, however, the Republican establishment has continued to subvert President Trump’s agenda.
Former White House chief strategist and Breitbart News executive chairman Steven K. Bannon said that the most significant mistake the Trump campaign after winning the election was trusting the establishment to staff the populist president-elect’s administration.
“In the 48 hours after we won … you might call it the original sin of the administration. We embraced the establishment,” Bannon said during an interview with CBS News anchor Charlie Rose for 60 Minutes. “I mean, we totally embraced the establishment.”
“They do not support the President’s program. It’s an open secret on Capitol Hill. Everybody in this city knows it,” Bannon added.
During one of President Trump’s first meetings with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY), McConnell urged the president to lay off on draining the swamp.
McConnell reportedly told the president, “I don’t wanna hear any more of this ‘Drain the Swamp’ talk.” McConnell added, “I can’t— I can’t hire any smart people.”
An early survey led by focus guru Frank Luntz in January 2017 revealed that many Trump voters believe that Congressional Republicans, including Speaker Paul Ryan, continued to hold up the president’s agenda.

Relationship With Tom Brady 'Fake News'
New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick shot down the notion that his relationship with quarterback Tom Brady could be eroding.
An unnamed friend of Belichick told ESPN in recent ESPN profile on Brady that “there’s a collision coming” between the coach and Brady’s trainer Alex Guerrero.
Belichick said this week on WEEI’s “Dale & Holley with Keefe” that the report is “fake news.”
“I mean, as usual, I think a lot of comments in the article you’re referring to were unattributed to anybody, if I am not mistaken,” Belichick said. “I don’t think anybody said anything. This is just a general random opinion about I am not sure exactly what. If we would like to talk about somebody who has an informed opinion about something that is one thing, I mean otherwise we’re just talking about a lot of fake news here about just putting out a lot of things that are unattributable. As usual. I’d say we get a lot of that.”
Belichick described his relationship with Brady as “good” and “consistent.”
“I’ve met with Tom at least twice a week for the last 16 years,” he stated.

"Hillary Clinton is in secret negotiations with Christopher Steele, the author of the infamous Russian dossier, to purchase a second report that allegedly contains salacious new charges against President Trump, according to several sources with personal knowledge of the transaction.
The talks with Steele, a former British spy, are being carried out by Hillary’s former campaign aides, who do not hide their bitterness over the shocking loss of the White House to Donald Trump, these sources say.
‘Hillary’s people have been secretly in touch with Steele and are close to making a deal with him on opposition research that he claims has newly surfaced from his Russian sources,’ says a longtime Clinton adviser."
‘Steele didn’t release this information before now because it wasn’t available to him when he put together his first dossier,’ the adviser continued.
