The verbal slip took place during a White House event on Biden administration efforts to combat inflation. After Biden complained that all the press questions were about the military buildup around Ukraine, Doocy shouted, “Will you take questions about inflation? Do you think inflation is a political liability ahead of the midterms?”
Thinking his microphone was turned off, Biden responded sarcastically, “No, that’s a great asset. More inflation.”
He added: “What a stupid son of a bitch.”
Monday’s outburst was the latest in a lengthy series of Biden jabs at the media.
Just before Biden attacked Doocy, he chided a different reporter for asking him about fears that Russia may invade Ukraine — rather than about the gathering’s stated focus on lowering prices.
Most people must know exactly why we now have an inflation crisis. But the Biden Administration or more importantly Joe Biden pretends not to realize what will solve this problem. In fact, what would solve almost all of the other problems which have transpired since the real 'stupid son of a bitch' has been installed in the White House.
The word choice and usage by Jesse Watters to Peter Doocy in the above clip was in poor taste, but as usual Watters does what he believes will show what a clever person he is.
Much respect has to go to Doocy for his professionalism. He showed no frustration, no anger, and an eagerness to get back to his job for the next skirmish with this regime.
Because Doocy works for Fox, none of the other members of the press are going to have a problem over this. If Biden had called someone from MSNBC or CNN a son-of-a-bitch it would have been a Constitutional crisis, but with this, they couldn’t care less.
