Pelosi who handed out millions of dollars to Democrat lobbyists and special interest groups, said she wants to ensure that the $2 trillion is spent ‘wisely and efficiently.’ It is unclear how many Democrat and Republican lawmakers would serve on the committee but Pelosi said Democrat Whip James Clyburn (SC) will be the chairman...with Democrat Clyburn as Chairman, what could go wrong? The Democrats have proven to everyone during the past three years, they can never again be trusted to govern any government program.
“The committee will be empowered to examine all aspects of the federal response to the coronavirus, and to assure that the taxpayer dollars are being wisely and efficiently spent to save lives, deliver relief and benefit our economy,” Pelosi said during a conference call with reporters.
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy hit back at Pelosi’s decision to form a select committee because he said Congress already wrote oversight provisions into the mammoth stimulus package. Investigative reporter Paul Sperry said Pelosi and Schiff are preparing to investigate Trump for “mishandling” the Coronavirus outbreak. “They plan to focus on “disproportionate” infection rate among blacks to suggest some kind of racial negligence. They’ll also call for “rolling lockdowns” thru next fall,” Sperry said.
Another crisis that the Democrats cannot waste. They don't care how much money this crisis costs the taxpayers, this is all about the election of 2020, and an attempt to defeat President Donald J. Trump.
