Maxine Waters ( Head Of Banking Committee)
Asks Bankers About Student Loans, She Had
No Idea Government Took Over Program In 2010

The House Banking Committee, led by distinguished Democrat Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), called in the nation’s top bankers on Wednesday to lecture them on greed and political correctness.

During her questioning Mad Maxine asked the bankers about what they were doing to help those suffering with student loan debt.

The bankers quickly reminded the Banking Committee Chairperson that government took over the program in 2010.

Chairwoman Maxine was completely surprised. And this is the Democrat Party’s banking expert.

Blog Author's Comments: In 2010, as part of the Obamacare law, the U.S. federal government took over all federal student loans. Apparently Chairwoman Waters was unaware of this as the Banking Committee Chairperson. The woman in the 'James Brown' wig, does not have a clue what is happening within the banking industry. This is another example of a person who continues to be re-elected by her liberal, low-information constituents and promises them everything but provides nothing. The democrats prey on ignorance and count on it, they need these people to maintain their voter base to be a viable party.

The so-called lawmakers such as Maxine Waters, who are able to hang around as long as she has, will eventually be handed the Chair of some committee. Now, Waters wants to show her people that she can teach these successful businessmen a lesson. She does not actually want to help all of the people, just pretend to give assistance to her voters for the next election. It was quite incredible that those banking executives did not start laughing, it was very strong self control.

The Attorney General Says He Thinks
Spying Occurred on Trump Campaign

Attorney General William Barr confirms to Democrat Senator Jeanne Shaheen, that he is reviewing the genesis of the Mueller probe and actions taken by the FBI during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Mr. Barr says he believes that the Trump presidential campaign was spied on, and that he wants to make sure the subsequent investigation was "adequately predicated" and that rules governing law enforcement actions were followed.

Blog Author's Educated Input: Democrats Freak Out Over AG Barr's 'Spying' Comment. Some call for his impeachment while others accuse Barr of being a Russian agent.

Prominent Democrats, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer were furious over Barr’s remarks during a Senate hearing on Wednesday.

“He is the Attorney General of the United States, not the attorney general of Donald Trump,” Pelosi said. And Schumer said the Attorney General was obligated to “retract his statement immediately.”

Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.) called Barr’s confirmation of spying “dangerous.” While House Intelligence Committee Chairman “Shifty” Adam Schiff (Calif.) said Barr’s comments somehow strike a “destructive blow” to America’s democracy.

The mainstream media pundits are also melting down, with Washington Post writer Jennifer Rubin calling for Barr to be impeached.

The Democrats, Left and all the media, did not receive what they expected from Special Counsel Mueller and now Attorney General Barr. So they are unhappy and will have to resort to another tactic to continue their daily narrative. Mueller and his people, they were sure, would come up with at least one impeachable offense to finally rid them of their nemesis President Trump. And they could finally show the American people that they were not lying about the president or publishing and broadcasting 'fake news'. But, they did not receive what they so badly wanted.

Case Against Maxine Waters Will Move Forward

Ethics committee says case against Waters to move forward

The Hill -- The House Ethics Committee announced on Wednesday that Rep. Maxine Waters’s (D-Calif.) rights were not violated in its investigation of her and its case will proceed.

Waters is next in line to fill Rep. Barney Frank’s (D-Mass.) position as the top Democrat on the House Financial Services Committee next year when Frank retires. An ethics conviction could jeopardize her ascension to the post.

In a letter to Waters, the committee wrote to inform the lawmaker that it had considered the 12 allegations of misconduct her lawyer had presented against the panel and found that none of them was in violation of House or committee rules.

“The outside counsel has concluded, and the Committee has unanimously found that you have been afforded notice and the opportunity to be heard,” wrote Rep. Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.), the panel’s acting chairman on the Waters case, and Rep. John Yarmuth (D-Ky.), the committee’s ranking member.

"As such, there has been no violation of the due process rights to which you are entitled. Even when the allegations are considered in their totality, there is still no violation of the process which you are due, and the Committee is entitled to continue its consideration of your matter,” the lawmakers wrote.

For more than two years, the committee has investigated whether Waters violated House rules after allegations surfaced that she secured funding for a bank in which her husband own stock. Waters has maintained her innocence.

Blog author's comments - Waters, no doubt, was heard to be yelling 'racism' uncontrollably. It only took the House Ethics Committee over two years to do what should have been done within a few months.

Waters has maintained her innocence. If she is found guilty of the charges there should be no 'reprimand' as punishment...she should be gone. Maxine Waters saw what happened to Rangel and is not worried.

Charlie Rangel should be in jail for his delinquent tax payments but instead, he got ‘high-fived’ by members of his own party after he was censured instead of being expelled!

The most astounding part of this sordid story is that Waters is next in line to fill Barney Frank’s position as the top Democrat on the House Financial Services Committee. The Hill said “an ethics conviction could jeopardize her ascension to the post”.

Even if she escapes conviction, the last thing in the world she should assume is leadership of this committee. Talk about putting the fox in charge of the hen house. But, it would not surprise me, even if she is found guilty, to only receive a reprimand and to be placed in the position of power.

Waters Says - Wall Street Bankers Fear Her

Maxine Waters: Banks 'shaking in their boots'
at thought of me as chairwoman

The Hill -- Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) said banks on Wall Street are "shaking in their boots" at the prospect of her becoming chairwoman of the House Financial Services Committee.

Waters is next in line to take over as top Democrat on the panel following the retirement of Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.) at the end of 2012. She told California Democrats gathered for a convention last weekend that she was eager to take over at the top, urging them to help Democrats reclaim control of the House in the upcoming election.

"Let me let you in on a secret. I am the senior-most person serving on the Financial Services Committee," she said. "Barney Frank is about to retire and guess who’s shaking in their boots? The too-big-to-fail banks and financial institutions and all of Wall Street, because Maxine Waters is going to be the next chair of the Financial Services Committee!"

Waters is angling to take over for Democrats on the committee monitoring Wall Street in 2013, which will lead the effort to defend the Dodd-Frank financial reform law from GOP attempts to roll it back. So far, no direct challenger from her party has emerged.

The most apparent obstacle to her becoming the top Democrat is a pending ethics investigation against her. The House Ethics Committee has hired outside counsel to examine its initial handling of allegations against her and whether she violated House ethics rules.

The committee is examining whether Waters improperly directed federal funding to a bank in which her husband owned stock and previously served as a board member. Waters has strongly defended her innocence, and the committee suspended the investigation last year to bring on outside counsel.

Blog author's comments - It boggles the mind to think that Maxine Waters could rise to such a position. Ms. Waters, the only ones who should be shaking in their boots are the American people. Appointing her would help to guarantee that the recovery America needs would be postponed indefinitely.

If the Democrats regain a majority in the House our country is in very serious trouble. Waters running the financial services committee would be a disaster. Maxine Waters is a good example of how in Washington seniority overrides capabilities.

The United States House Committee on Financial Services (also referred to as the House Banking Committee) is the committee of the United States House of Representatives that oversees the entire financial services industry, including the securities, insurance, banking, and housing industries. It is chaired by Spencer Bachus (R-AL) and the ranking Democrat is currently Barney Frank (D-MA).

Maxine Waters Urges Obama To Fight Republicans

Rep. Waters urges Obama to drop
nice-guy act and fight Republicans, Tea Party

The Hill - It’s time for President Obama to quit watching sports and drinking beer with his political opponents in the hope it will lead to a bipartisan agreement, Rep. Maxine Waters said Thursday.

The outspoken California Democrat said Obama needs to fight harder against the GOP and Tea Party and for Democratic policy priorities.

“He's been very nice about it,” Waters said of Obama’s budget negotiations with Republicans.

“He's been on the other side of the aisle talking with people. He's invited them up to the White House to have beer. He's invited them to come and watch the Super Bowl games.

“He's done all of that, and when they eat his food and drink his beer and leave, then they go and try to kill him [on Capitol Hill],” she told an audience gathered for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's annual legislative conference in Washington.

“You've gotta fight – you will not win this battle without fighting,” she added. - Continue reading...

Blog author's comments - Obama invited republicans for a beer? And here I though he was a bad guy for trying to rip this country to pieces.

Maxine, he really isn’t extending these invites for any reason than for appearances. As for trying "to kill him"…he may anger many people, but he is alive and well…we just hope to vote the loser out of office.

It wouldn’t occur to Waters that he may be incompetent, or his policies are bad - not a chance. This pathetic woman is another shining example of what’s wrong with this country. The Democrat Party must be defeated so our country is able to survive.
