KXLY -- SPOKANE, Wash. - The second suspect in the beating death of an 88-year-old WWII veteran has been arrested.
Police say they arrested 16-year-old Kenan Adams-Kinard just after 3 a.m. on Monday morning in connection with the murder of Delbert Belton.
He was found in a basement apartment at 500 West Montgomery in Spokane and arrested without incident.
Police say good investigative work and follow up on dozens of tips help lead to the apprehension of the suspect.
Adams-Kinard was arrested on a First-Degree Robbery and First-Degree Murder warrant. Several other people with him have been arrested for rendering criminal assistance.
Last week, police arrested 16-year-old Demetrius Glenn in connection with the murder. He was charged with First-Degree Murder and First-Degree Robbery.
Blog author's comments - What kind of sub-humans would bludgeon an innocent 88 year old man to death? Hopefully the two who killed Delbert Belton will go to prison for the remainder of their lives. The liberals will attempt to invent excuses for the two accused of the robbery and killing but there are none. The suspects are Kenan Adams-Kinard and Demetrius Glenn, both just 16 years old.
Has anyone heard anything from Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson concerning the beating death of Mr. Belton? They quickly jumped in to stir the pot of racism when George Zimmerman shot Trayvon Martin while Martin was beating him. And the liberals, many in the black community, along with the Obama administration did not care for the not guilty verdict from the jury. The AG Eric Holder still has his people in the DOJ trying to find anything they can to file a civil suit against Zimmerman.
It is difficult to fully comprehend why the two suspects did what they are accused of but our country is full of many more just like them. Too bad Mr. Belton did not have a gun with him, perhaps he could have saved himself.
