Flying across the world to pick up an award, yes that’s very important work. Stolen valor from Vietnam, married into a fortune, lost his Presidential run, and still, an arrogant and entitled illegitimate fraud. He has always been this way, he will never relate to the working class. It does show how low the Democrat Party has to go to find people to fill positions; it is obvious that qualifications mean nothing.

Kerry: The Media Would Do Us All 'A Service' If They Didn't Cover Terrorism Quite As Much

Breitbart -- At a media availability on Bangladesh on Monday, Secretary of State John Kerry discussed the threat of terrorism at home and abroad.

Part of his proposal to fight this threat had to do with the media and how it covers terrorism. According to Fox News and a transcript of the press conference provided by the State Department, Kerry said the media could “do us a service” by not covering terrorism “quite as much.

“Remember this: No country is immune from terrorism,” he said. “It’s easy to terrorize. Government and law enforcement have to be correct 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. But if you decide one day you’re going to be a terrorist and you’re willing to kill yourself, you can go out and kill some people. You can make some noise. Perhaps the media would do us all a service if they didn’t cover it quite as much. People wouldn’t know what’s going on. The fact is we have to stand together, and the United States is standing with Bangladesh in this fight.”

Blog Author's Comments -- The media should shine the light on all forms of jihad. Hiding your head in the sand or keeping information from the public is not a solution. Kerry wants the media to censor radical Islamic terrorism like it censors the abundant Hillary crimes and lies, like it censors what the radical Black Lives Matter domestic terrorists are all about, like it censors what an absolute disaster that Obamacare is.

John Kerry, the pro-censorship Secretary of State, what a patriot. In the meantime 10,000 illegal Syrians are on their way to the USA or already here. U.S. Denies Threatening James Foley's Family To Keep Them From Paying Ransom

Breitbart -- The U.S. government is denying accusations that James Foley's family was threatened with retaliation if they paid the ransom ISIS requested to secure the American journalist's freedom.

On September 11 James Foley's mother, Diane, told CNN"s Anderson Cooper that she was "embarrassed and appalled" by the way the Obama administration handled "her son's case." She said, "I think our efforts to get Jim freed were an annoyance" to the government and securing his freedom "didn't seem to be in the (U.S.) strategic interest, if you will."

Diane also said U.S. officials told her family "not to go to the media." She said the family was also told "many times" that raising ransom was "illegal" and could lead to "prosecution."

DW.de reports that Secretary of State John Kerry was "really taken aback" by Diane's statements. Kerry said he was "totally unaware and would not condone" threatening statements towards the Foley family from anyone in the State Department.

Kerry's spokeswoman Marie Harf said the State Department tried "to help the family understand what our laws are about" as regards "paying ransom to terrorists." She added: "This department would never, and did not ever intend to, nor do we think we ever did anything that we would consider threatening."

On September 12, White House spokesman Josh Earnest responded by saying the administration had stayed "in regular touch with the Foley family" throughout the crisis leading up to James' beheading. According to AFP, Earnest said President Obama had availed himself of "every tool at [his] disposal" to secure Foley's freedom.

He said questions "about whether the Foleys would have been prosecuted had they attempted to pay a ransom" should be directed to the Justice Department.

White House Admits It Has No Allies For Syria Attack

Jihad Watch -- Confirmation from the White House itself that John Kerry was lying when he said that the number of countries supporting the U.S. had reached "double digits." "White House Admits It’s a Coalition of One," by Patrick Brennan at National Review. September 8:

When asked this morning if the U.S. has any pledges of military support for strikes in Syria, White House chief of staff Denis McDonough emphasized that the G20 and other nations have made supportive condemnations of the Syrian government’s actions, but repeatedly pressed by CNN’s Candy Crowley, provided no examples of countries that have endorsed or will provide personnel or equipment for a military intervention.

He wouldn’t explicitly admit that the U.S. actually has no allies willing to provide support, saying, “you’re trying to get me to say that, but I’m not going to say it.” There is specific support from the EU and others, he said, for “holding Syria accountable.”

McDonough argued it was encouraging that a number of other countries — and even a former president of Iran — have come around and agreed that the U.S. has made a convincing case that the Syrian regime used chemical weapons in August.

Blog author's comments - It appears that Obama and his administration are at present alone with their plan to attack Syria. We will see what happens when the full Congress votes. I have never been able to believe John Kerry, particularly since his lies about his military service record in Vietnam were exposed. The amazing thing now is that Obama is trotting out another proven liar Susan Rice to make his case for an assault on Syria. Most of us should remember what she had to say on all the Sunday news shows, concerning the Obama administration's version of what happened in Libya with the Benghazi attack on the American embassy.

Obama had to draw "the red line in the (Syrian) sand." He is now attempting to back away from his statement. When the votes in Congress are tallied to attack or not in Syria I think Reid may deliver the votes from the Senate. In the House John Boehner is supportive of Obama. But it remains to be seen if the Conservative Republicans in the House will give Obama their okay for an offensive action. If not, will Obama defy Congress and the will of the American people and go ahead with the attack? He wants the majority of Congress to give him their support...so he can spread the blame if things go badly.

If Congress does not give Obama their backing, in particular the Republicans, he will attempt to use this against the GOP during his campaign for the midterm election of 2014. He desperately wants to regain control of the House for his final two years in office. But if he blames the GOP it may not work in his favor. The polls of the American people show that most Americans do not want the U.S. involved in Syria.
