At first glance, the latest jobs report comes as a "positive surprise." Former Wall Street investment banker Chris Markowski urges Americans to take a closer look at those numbers on Friday's American Agenda on Newsmax.

The Democrats say they added half a million jobs but 2 million people left the work force. Also, just because they are not collecting unemployment does not mean they have jobs. In many cases the Federal government money stopped so some people went back to work. Biden wants credit for a disaster of an economy with high inflation, higher food costs, higher gas prices and a severly decreased supply chain, and he said the economy is working 'for more Americans.'

The October jobs report that came out on Friday isn’t as good as Joe Biden claims.


Some good news is causing the DOW to rise, however, the labor participation rate has not budged since last year.

Joe Biden is not creating any new jobs—the Labor Participation rate has not budged. For the 14th straight month, more than 100 million people are not in the labor force. Joe Biden does not belong in the White House. The regime knows what it is doing, which is not good for the country or the American people.

Nancy Pelosi on Jobs Report: ‘GOP Attitude Disrespects Workers, Dishonors Our Values and Damages Our Economy’

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi responded to a January employment report that showed “nonfarm payroll employment increased by 304,000” during the month by issuing a statement attacking congressional Republicans for embracing an attitude that “disrespects workers”

Pelosi also lamented the situation of federal workers, who, even if they were furloughed during the partial shutdown that ended on January 25 were paid for the time they did not work.

Also, the jobs report showed that the federal government added 1,000 workers during the month.

“Federal workers, many of them veterans, saw their financial security shaken, their credit ratings harmed, and their lives upended by the longest shutdown in history,” Pelosi said in her statement on the jobs report.

“Meanwhile, House Republicans overwhelmingly voted against a pay raise for federal civilian workers, refusing to respect the perseverance and patriotism of the men and women who were just furloughed or forced to work without pay,” Pelosi said. “This consistently callous GOP attitude disrespects workers, dishonors our values and damages our economy.”

In other words, Pelosi is bemoaning a good economy because it was President Trump (and the GOP) who are responsible for the progress. This shows the clear difference between Democrats and the Republican Party, when it comes to growing the economy. By her unhappy statement, this tells all we need to know about her. Also, when the government is not doing the will of the people or serving them, it should be shutdown.

White House Spin - Take Jobless Report 'In Context', Economy Is Healing

Washington Examiner -- In response to the less than impressive August jobs report this morning, Alan B. Krueger, Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers reminded Americans that the economy was still on its way to recovery.

On CNBC this morning Krueger reminded Americans the importance of taking the news “in context.”

“I say every month when the news comes in it’s important to take a step back, take today’s report in the context of other information that’s coming in,” he said. “We see a pattern that the economy is continuing to heal from the very deep recession that struck at the end of 2007 and really came to a boil in 2008.”

In a statement issued by the White House, Krueger added that it was “critical” for Washington to “continue the policies that are building an economy that works for the middle class.”

Blog author's comments - The economy is not 'continuing to heal.' The Obama administration has been a disaster. Obama's policies, agenda and massive spending have definitely put the economy in the shape it is now. He owns this economy.

U.S. employers added 96,000 jobs last month. The unemployment rate fell to 8.1 percent from 8.3 percent in July, the Labor Department said Friday. But that was only because more people gave up looking for work. 368,000 people dropped out of the workforce. The government only counts people as unemployed if they are actively searching for work.

The government also said 41,000 fewer jobs were created in July and June than first estimated. The economy has added just 139,000 jobs a month since the beginning of the year, below 2011′s average of 153,000. The unemployment rate has been above 8% for the 43rd straight month.

Many of the voters do not know enough about what the Obama administration has done to the country because the liberal media is controlled by the White House. If the facts were honestly reported, Obama's approval rating would be less than 30%.
