Brainless Democrat Sheila Jackson Lee Stands By Her Man, 'Patriot' John Conyers

Washington Free Beacon -- Another Democrat in Congress is standing behind alleged sexual harasser Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) and refuses to urge him to resign.

Texas Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee was on MSNBC Thursday dodging the “should he step down” question and instead remained defiant on behalf of her pal:

“I believe the decision to go or come will be the decision of that member. As I understand it, Mr. Conyers is with his family. I’m praying for them. I’m praying for the women to make their decision. But all of those decisions are at the behest of the member and I expect that to be the case here.”

Here’s where MSNBC anchor Craig Melvin gets some credit for pressing his Democrat guest to answer why she is so insistent on covering for Conyers. He reminded her about the $27,000 “settlement” Conyers paid in public funds as hush money to one of his victims and how that seemed to him like an admission of guilt.

“Are you concerned at all about your party no longer being able to profess to be the party of women if it doesn’t force a congressman like John Conyers out?” Melvin asked.

After recovering from laughter, Jackson Lee changed the subject to Republicans Roy Moore and Donald Trump and the “appalling” allegations against them. She also veered off into the topic of the sexual abuse against black women going back to the founding of the country. Deflection and race card — two great tastes!

Melvin interrupted the strange rant to inform her that while they were talking, her friend and colleague House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-MD) had called for Conyers’ resignation, prompting the host to ask again if Jackson Lee was still willing to hold her position. She answered in the affirmative.

The congresswoman stressed that she will leave it up to Conyers to make his own decision and resolved to get back to fighting for women — and corrupt congressmen, apparently.

No matter how bad the behavior is, the politicians will stand with their fellow party members and black people will excuse any and all behavior just because the perpetrator is black. Sheila Jackson Lee is certainly not known for her brain power. He should have asked her about the American flag on Mars she thinks Neil Armstrong put there. She is defending the indefensible, Democrats are experts at this. And usually they go off on pointless, unintelligible rants against Republicans. Downtrend -- Few people have more disregard for the truth nor are as filled with hypocrisy and horseshit as longtime Democrat leader Nancy Pelosi.

The San Francisco septuagenarian flew to the defense of Congressional Black Caucus crank John Conyers who is refusing to go quietly into the good night after a series of sexually related allegations rocked the 88-year-old congressional lifer to his roots last week.

Long Dong Conyers is accused of sexual improprieties by multiple women including one who claims that he showed up to a meeting wearing only his underwear. Conyers also used taxpayer funds as hush money to make an accuser go away, a violation of trust so off the chain that his hometown newspaper The Detroit Free Press called for him to resign.

The Botox-embalmed banshee showed up on Sunday morning television and managed to avoid the brain freezes that have plagued her in her old age for long enough to mount a spirited defense of the pervert in her midst just like all of the sex fiends that the Dems make excuses for.

During an interview with the loathsome Chuck Todd of NBC’s Press the Meat Meet the Press, Pelosi insisted that Conyers deserved due process, a concept that only applies for Democrats who normally are possessed with a lynch mob mentality when it comes to anyone else.

Does Roy Moore deserve due process? Does President Trump? Pelosi and her rat pack want to string both of them up by their balls without even the presumption of innocence yet a career scumbag like Conyers is somehow held to a different standard?

Todd never bothered to bring up the contradictions or call Pelosi on her bullshit, none of the Sunday morning McNews bobble heads do.

Conyers is an icon alright, an iconic example of how idealism decomposes into a moral rot and a proclivity for depravity and corruption the longer that one remains in Congress. This is a racist reprobate and a dirty old man as well.

Nothing short of a constitutional amendment for term limits is going to change it either, perhaps one on age limits as well because neither of these old goats should be allowed to continue to suck off of the backs of American taxpayers like leeches who will feed until they burst.

Blog Author's Comments: Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats just don't get it. But, of course she defends Conyers she has no choice. They have to try and cover for each other and they do seem to be successful during a crisis, by 'circling the wagons' and sticking with their lawmakers, no matter what he or she is really guilty of. If the majority of Americans really knew the whole sick truth of the members of Congress and the sick perverted sexual abuse against children and women alone, I would hope that they would eventually be removed from Congress.

Don't ever lecture the Republican Party about Roy Moore. We continually hear all this phony talk about the Democrats representing women. The Democrats have abusers and perverts out the yin-yang and they defend all of them. They haven't changed one bit from the Clinton days. Oh yes, hypocrisy, thy name is Pelosi or any other liberal. But then again the truth is so vile and horrific that the average American couldn't comprehend the level of evil, that they in the beginning, would likely believe it wasn't true.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Michigan Rep. John Conyers, under investigation over allegations he sexually harassed female staff members, said Sunday he will step aside as the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee while fiercely denying he acted inappropriately during his long tenure in Congress.

In a statement, the 88-year-old lawmaker made clear he would prefer to keep his leadership role on the committee, which has wide jurisdiction over U.S. law enforcement, from civil rights and impeachment of federal officials to sexual harassment protections.
