Senate Majority Leader John Thune Is Going To Bring A Vote To The Floor Pushing The SAVE AMERICA ACT In RECONCILIATION — Which Only Needs 50 Votes + JD Vance...

IT'S TIME!
SEN. JOHN KENNEDY: "If we do reconciliation, we don't need any Democratic votes, we do have to get the permission of the parliamentarian, but there's a way to craft a voter integrity bill, the so-called SAVE Act, that I believe can pass muster with the parliamentarian."
"But we don't know unless we TRY!"
"Now, Senator Thune, to his credit, is going to bring that to a vote on the floor."
"We're going to have a chance to do what we call 'get on the bill.' I'm obviously going to vote YES."

"I think all Democrats will vote NO. I don't know how many Republicans will vote no, but probably some will."

John Thune: The Deep State Gatekeeper Who Spent Years Thwarting Trump Suddenly Discovers “Trying” Is an Option

Senate Majority Leader John Thune has spent the better part of President Trump’s second term acting like the world’s most polite roadblock. Now, according to Sen. John Kennedy, the South Dakota Republican is finally willing to bring a vote on the SAVE America Act through reconciliation — the process that only needs 50 votes plus Vice President JD Vance.

Kennedy, to his credit, put it plainly: if they craft the voter integrity bill carefully, it might clear the parliamentarian. “We don’t know unless we TRY!” he said. And Thune, “to his credit,” is going to put it on the floor.
