That no doubt came as a major shock to the Haitian migrants clamoring to cross those borders, assuming they were even listening, which is unlikely. Democrat Sen. Chuck Schumer evidently wasn’t listening:

Clearly Chuck Schumer wasn’t paying any closer attention to the fact that the bogus “whip” narrative has been repeatedly quite thoroughly debunked, but facts don't fit with his and his fellow Democrats narrative.
How about the disregard for our other immigration laws? Chuck Schumer used to care about that sort of thing:

Democrats definitely want open borders but will continue blaming Donald Trump for these problems of their own making, so perhaps their voters will not hold them responsible. Covid will magically be the longest running "pandemic" in human history, Democrat run states will mail out millions of unrequested mail-in ballots, Democrats could than win and honest patriotic Americans will just have to deal with it, pretty much what I heard Chuck Schumer say anyway.
The democrats want to feed, house and care for these invaders with our tax dollars and in return, eventually with their votes remain in power forever. Schumer said :"We cannot continue these hateful and xenophobic Trump policies that disregard our refugee laws." We absolutely should continue Trump's Immigration policies if we want to save America.
Unfortunately, many Americans believe emotions rule over reality. The emotions say "let all these people in out of compassion" and the reality says "the overwhelming majority of these people are military aged males, or women with children who are illiterate in both English and their native language, and they will live in squalor all the days of their lives, whether they are here, or in their homeland."
The problem is the political elites are not affected when communities are overrun with thousands of new poor residents. They literally want to import an unlimited number of new voters and they don't care what happens to them.
