The Democrats may have won control of the House in the midterm elections but that underwhelming victory has been cold comfort to the Hollywood celebs whose lives were destroyed after the bombastic outsider Donald Trump pulled the upset of the century against Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.
One of them who has been particularly obsessed and unhinged is Rob Reiner whose career was launched when he played Archie Bunker’s liberal son-in-law Mike “Meathead” Stivic in the long running classic sitcom “All In The Family” that dominated television in the 1970s.
Reiner went on to a successful career as a director although he hasn’t had any hits in quite some time. His latest movie, the anti-Bush “Shock And Awe” tanked at the box office leaving “Meathead” with no other real way to get attention than shooting off nasty tweets and engaging in bitter rants against Trump.
He struck again earlier this week with an unprovoked missive packing as much venom as he could into 280 characters.
Hollywood director Rob Reiner once again unloaded on President Donald Trump, insulting him with nearly every derogatory term used in modern politics.
“Hypocritical. Incompetent. Corrupt. Ignorant. Criminal. Mentally unstable. Racist. Misogynistic. Self-aggrandizing. Self-dealing. Disrespects allies. Embraces dictators,” Rob Reiner wrote. “And all wrapped up in a constant stream of lies. Ladies and gentleman, the President of the United States.”
It is not currently clear what provoked his latest outburst, although Reiner is known to regularly used his Twitter feed to unload on the current president. Earlier this year, he described Trump as a “cancer” on the American Presidency, while also calling him a “mentally ill sociopath” who is “certifiably insane.”
Reiner’s Twitter tirade is just the latest in a series of a litany of unhinged outbursts from the 71-year-old activist. Recently he accused Trump of being complicit in the gruesome torture and murder of journalist Jamal Khasshogi at the Saudi embassy in Istanbul.

Donald Trump is still our President and Hillary never will be, that thought always puts a grin on many faces. When will you finally understand, that no one cares what you have to say. And as Archie Bunker said many times,“Stifle yourself Meathead”.
President Trump is accomplishing what we elected him to do. So, I understand your craziness and frustration is directed at me and many other voters who supported him and I’m okay with that. In fact, I enjoy the thought that you are miserable. I felt much the same for eight years when Hussein Obama was pretending to run the country. Understand though, we did not have mental meltdowns like you and many members of your cult are having.
