Gregg Jarrett joined Melissa Francis on After the Bell on FOX Business Network.
Melissa Francis: Gregg is there anything in there that’s criminal?
Gregg Jarrett: Yes, it would be obstruction of justice. You can obstruct your own investigation. There’s a key phrase in the report describing Comey’s conduct. He made “ad hoc decisions based on his personal views.” In other words, he was manipulating the system contorting the law, twisting the facts to reach a pre-determined outcome that he desired. That is arguably a corrupt act under the obstruction of justice statutes. On Friday morning President Donald Trump trashed fired FBI Chief James Comey during his discussion with Steve Doocy from FOX and Friends.
Gregg Jarrett weighed in on Comey’s questionable acts later today.
Blog Author's Comments: I have mentioned this before but Greg Jarrett should have possibly been President Trump's pick for Attorney General. He is someone that is needed now during these difficult times. The IG report body is damning to many within the deep state. But, the "summary" appears to read as if written by a different author, for a completely different purpose.
I believe the "conclusions" are a late addition, to mollify the criminals within. One way or the other, Christopher Wray, it appears for now, was given satisfaction from any wrong doing. Perhaps Michael Horowitz is also part of the deep state and a swamp creature.
Comey removed Federal property from his work place and gave it to a friend to leak. Why wasn't he referred for indictment? Two people that were supposed to be men of integrity, Mueller and Horowitz are allowed to do what they have done and escape under the radar. We know for a fact that there is not an ounce of integrity in Special Counsel Robert Mueller. There are very few within the government that can honestly be trusted, and I can list them on the fingers of one hand.
The Inspector Generals report just puts more fuel on the fire that is burning inside many real Americans. So many people should be behind bars or at least go to trial, but yet again, nothing will ever happen.
